We purchased a home in Mountain Falls about six months ago, in part because amenities like the…read moreGrill Room seemed like they would become a regular part of our lifestyle here. Unfortunately, our experiences have been consistently disappointing. We have eaten here four times. The only genuinely positive service experience we had was when we sat at the bar. The other three visits, when dining with our kids, involved long waits to be seated and then extended periods sitting at the table without any service or acknowledgment. Our most recent experience was especially frustrating. We brought friends who were considering purchasing a home in Mountain Falls and wanted to introduce them to the community over lunch. We stood at the entrance of a half-empty restaurant for roughly five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. When someone finally did, we were simply told they were "behind" and that we would "have to wait awhile." There was no estimate, no effort to make us comfortable, and no attempt to improve the experience by seating us at one of the many empty tables so we could at least look over the menus and order drinks while they caught up. We waited another 15 minutes without any additional acknowledgment before deciding to leave and go elsewhere. The unfortunate part is that this place has real potential. The location, views, and atmosphere could easily make it a destination spot for people coming through Pahrump or for residents looking to entertain guests. But mediocre food can only survive if the service is excellent. Right now, the combination of mediocre food and consistently poor service makes it difficult to justify returning. I genuinely hope management turns it around because this restaurant could be far better than what it currently delivers.

Food menu was a little confusing at first, it's an Indian/American fusion so the menu is HUGE. A little overwhelming for my taste. Went with a burger the first time around and it was decent the fried onions on top were a little cold and chewy! Service was quick with it. Food came out fast and the staff is friendly. Ambiance is also a little weird it looks like it's in a transition phase but at least it has bar and table dining!

I am torn as I really want to give this place more stars because the food was really good (more on…read morethat later) but there was something that made that hard to do. We have dined there in the past and have always sat at a table but we came in on a whim and there was only bar seating, which was fine. But the girl bartender (Annie??) was extremely mean and rude to us for some reason. We were polite, didn't complain about anything, didn't ask to modify our food at all and left over 20% gratuity. When we asked questions she talked to us like we were stupid. Everyone else was outstanding. The guy with the braids and Frank were awesome and the Sommelier was really cool and was passionate about his wine list. My fiancé and I are both industry vets and we understand that sometimes you aren't always in the best mood but this felt oddly personal. Again, we have no idea what we did wrong. The food was exceptional. Some highlights are: Oxtail hummus: The best hummus I've ever had and the oxtail was cooked to perfection. Oysters: we did half and half of both options and they were both great and super unique. Banh Cuon: Usually made with pork, they use duck and it is awesome. The sauce should be bottled. Octopus: Perfection on a plate. Passionfruit dessert: So, so good. Perfect way to end dinner after some spicy elements in the food. Pandan cocktail: One of the better drinks I've ever had. We had more food but these are the items I can remember off of the top of my head. This was from about a month ago but my Yelp account was hijacked and I haven't been able to get it back yet and had to make a new one . So overall everything was amazing except for that one issue.

The service was outstanding, we asked for an off menu cocktail and a split dish (half and half oysters) which they accommodated. They kept up with refilling our waters. Some standout dishes for me were the dry aged bluefin tuna, the oysters, the "dan-dan" rabbit paccheri, and the Spanish octopus. I did enjoy our first visit but this was much more memorable. Everything we tried was beautifully plated, all of the ingredients served a purpose and blended beautifully together. The ambiance with the small table lamps was enough to see the beautiful dishes but keep the mood relaxed and intimate. The cost was much more reasonable compared to other higher end restaurants of similar or lesser quality in vegas. I highly recommend
