I can't remember when the last time was that I had the worst cooked shrimp at a restaurant. The shrimp tandoori was so rubbery and flavorless I had to throw the entire meal away. Been a few times for some beer and sports, nothing really stood out to me, beer was not bad and the price was pretty good. Food menu was a little confusing at first, it's an Indian/American fusion so the menu is HUGE. A little overwhelming for my taste. My father and I recently dinned in the pourhouse while we were looking for something to eat while driving through town. I was craving Indian food and he was craving bar food. Never did I expect that we would find a combo of the both of them. From the looks of the menu everything looks fantastic, which drew us to coming in. I was super excited to try the chicken tikka masala as that's one of my favorite dishes. My father decided to get the chicken strips with the garlic Parm fries, and they were fantastic to say the least. We both enjoyed the seasoning on the chicken batter and the flavor of the fries. Unfortunately, my chicken tikka masala wasn't so great. The chicken didn't seem to be marinated at all and it wasn't anything special. It was definitely disappointing, and I wouldn't order it again. There was no coloring inside the chicken and the rice was bland. I shouldn't really have expected much from a fusion place as they're typically l a lot better at one thing than the other and I'd say they're a lot better at the bar food. I didn't try any of the other Masala's so I can't speak on them. I did enjoy the sauce and the onion basil naan but it tasted more like pizza bread than anything. Our server was fantastic and she was very helpful with suggesting items on the menu. The ambience of the restaurant was a little lackluster as well, but overall great. I don't think we'll be stopping in again, but it was definitely nice to try once. The reason why I even leave three stars to begin with was due to the chicken strips and garlic Parm fries, again I can't express enough how yummy they were, but the tikka masala was a hard pass. read more

Super pricey. I understand paying for quality, but the taste profile and price didn't seem to justify either of these.The portions were small 4 chicken fingers, no side for $16. Here in Pahrump visiting Death Valley National Park. Was not expecting to find this place right next to our hotel. It's located inside the Steelbound brewery and distillery. Great food here. Highly recommended if you're in the area. We ordered 2 - 14" pizzas which were delicious (1- meat lover, and a 1/2 Hawaiian 1/2 veggie). Also tried the Tikka Chicken Masala which was also perfectly done. One of the kids had a double bacon cheeseburger and devoured it. Lastly we tried the chicken wings 1/2 bbq and 1/2 Parmesan garlic. The wings were huge, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent. Both friendly , informative and attentive to our party. The interior was VERY CLEAN with both bar style elevated tables and regular seating in the restaurant portion. The bar side was also nice with a cool laid back vibe. This is my first time having it from this place and I would not get it again or would recommend you trying this dish from here. Don't give up on this dish though, it's a great one. This restaurant just does not execute it well. Everything was bitter and lacked spices, I needed to add honey and salt and some other spices to make it at least tolerable. One of the best things is that there's no smoking. Food is sometimes good, sometimes very good, sometimes meh. Not always consistent. The tandoori chicken, which I love, comes out very dry sometimes. It's a fun place to go, so we'll be back. read more

A great little spot in a very unassuming location. I stayed at the Best Western last night and this restaurant is affiliated with the hotel (but open to whoever to come here). I was alone and traveling on business and sat at the bar and ordered/ate my food at the bar. I ordered the butter chicken & garlic naan on recommendation of the bartender/waitress. By the way, she was lovely! The food came out relatively fast and was very delicious. I was so full after eating half my dinner so I boxed up some to take out. Was the elderly lady she look like she attitude. We visit Pahrump once or twice a year for my husband'a job. But we've never gone here before. When I looked at reviews and saw that they have an arcade and free mini bowling alley I thought it'd be perfect for our 3 and 6 year olds. Well if you're looking through the reviews for bowling info I'll jump straight to the point. It was out of order and couldn't be used. The same goes for the arcade games. So that was a big disappointment. My kids weren't really upset though. They still enjoyed moving the balls from one ball return to the other and pretending to play the arcade games. This place has a karoake area and a bar/lounge area for adults. So you can do a lot. The food was just so so. They have both an Indian restaurant and bar food. We got: Pizza - the crust for this is thick. To me it lacked some flavor. But if course my kids liked it. Garlic Parmesan Fries - I really liked the crispy breaded texture of the fries. But the flavor was a bit lacking. Butter chicken with rice- My husband really enjoyed this. I thought it was a bit bland. Mango Lassi - my whole family enjoyed this. It was thick and creamy. The portion size was good too. I would go back and give it another try just for the bowling aspect. I'd like to try some of their other North Indian food too. read more

Well, lets just start with the service.....The gentleman that seated us and took our drink order was....pleasant.....BUT, when I asked for a red blend, he said 'do you want me to mix them?' We have Merlot and Cabernet........uhhhhhh, well, no, how about just a cabernet....bar none, the worst 3 sips of wine I have ever had....so, like sour milk, I asked my sisters in law to verify how bad it was and share in the terrible experience, they did....lol....I should have taken a photo of the bitter expression that they immediately showed....then, they brought my husband and brother warm beer, nice addition. Then the waitress, Destynee came to take our order....I ordered the 8 oz apricot steak. She responded 'we don't have that in an 8 oz any longer, we have the 10 or 12 oz. So, I said, 'ok, I guess I will have the 10 oz then. We ordered the chicken simosas that were also on the menu...those were also unavailable, as were the lamb....only the pea and potato, which the waitress failed to mention until they were already prepared...so, we rolled the dice and decided to give it a go....well, then we all ordered steaks, with the exception of my brother, he ordered the 'too good to be bleu burger'....the waitress brings our dinners, my apricot steak wasn't an actual apricot steak....she was rude enough that we were all, well, just shocked....well, still no burger for my brother....so finally, one of my sister in laws went up to ask about the location of my brothers burger....well, apparently his order had not been put in yet. By this time, we have all had time to taste our steaks. Medium rare did not exist, but the gristle was plentiful. Ten minutes went by and my brother finally said, look skip the burger...then, they brought it, cold fries and all....My brother told them he did not want the burger, the manager insisted, and my brother he wouldn't eat it if you paid him to., they still insisted, and at this point with our waitress, Destynee still holding strong in her complete lack of customer service or tact, continued until we finally gave up. (Keep in mind everyone else had slid their dinners away so my brother would have been the only one left eating) At which point, we asked for the manager with our uneaten steaks and explanations of the evening....he offered to comp our meal.....THIS WAS 5 MINUTES BEFORE HE BROUGHT US one $45.00 bill, and one $50.00 bill. Did I mention the manager brought the two birthday boys, my husband and brother 2 FREE DESSERTS? However not all the menus had the same items or were missing pages so it was a bit confusing as to what they actually had.
