When someone finally did, we were simply told they were "behind" and that we would "have to wait awhile." There was no estimate, no effort to make us comfortable, and no attempt to improve the experience by seating us at one of the many empty tables so we could at least look over the menus and order drinks while they caught up. We waited another 15 minutes without any additional acknowledgment before deciding to leave and go elsewhere. The unfortunate part is that this place has real potential. The location, views, and atmosphere could easily make it a destination spot for people coming through Pahrump or for residents looking to entertain guests. But mediocre food can only survive if the service is excellent. Right now, the combination of mediocre food and consistently poor service makes it difficult to justify returning.
