As someone who lives on post, it can be frustrating to find shelves cleared out and essential items unavailable because of the increased demand. I believe there should be a better plan in place to ensure residents who live on post have reliable access to groceries and household necessities. Having to travel off post for basic shopping defeats the purpose of having a convenient on-post option. The employees are doing a great job, but they would benefit from additional support and resources to meet the increased demand.

As a mom myself, this is a grocery store not a playground, and it's even worse when workers are encouraging it instead of doing their job. Then a minute later I saw the worker again who gave me a very rude look then proceeded to walk away. EXTREMELY unprofessional. I have had multiple experiences at this location where I have been treated poorly, first when doing click 2 go, then while doing self checkout, now while shopping. The only positive here is that the cashiers are nice

It's always hard to place your finger on it, but here are some things that come to mind for me. - The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the cheese. Normally when I've had pierogis they're dominated by the sort of rich and savory flavor from the buttery potatoes and cheese, but this cheese kinda cut through the richness with some sort of tanginess and freshness. Maybe it was ricotta cheese? Whatever it was, it was totally perfect. - The pasta was awesome. You could tell it was fresh and high quality. - Same with the sour cream. It also gave some more tanginess. - I thought the onions were cooked totally perfectly. The texture was soft, but not mushy. There was some small amount of bite left to them. And the flavor was great. I feel like I'm not doing these pierogis justice. They were insane! I tried but ultimately I don't know how to explain why. You'll have to try them yourself! My girlfriend and I also got the pork pierogis, an Italian sausage, and a kielbasa sausage. The pork pierogis I'd say were merely "very good", whereas the cheese and potato ones were "insanely good/must try". The pork definitely tasted fresh and had a nice texture, but it was lacking a little bit of flavor. The sausages I'd say were another step down. Just "good". I thought they could have used a little bit more flavor. My bigger complaint is with the pretzel buns. Pretzel buns are always great so I was excited when I saw them on the menu, but these ones in particular just didn't seem very fresh or high quality. Plus, I would have preferred it if they were toasted. Aside from the food, the owner Jerry is an awesome guy. You can tell that he cares and is actually trying to use fresh ingredients and cook food that he is proud of, instead of figuring out how to make an extra buck. Stuff like that has a way of really putting a positive tint on the eating experience.
