I shopped at this location for the first time since moving here, and I was blown away! This store is huge and has everything you could possibly need. The prices are excellent. Every time I go in, 98% of the items I want aren't in stock. This is the worst Albertsons I've ever had to deal with. Most recently, I went in for sandwich stuff - the lettuce I wanted was wilted and I would've gone for another type but they were out of stock, the deli wasn't serving sliced meat or cheese that day only what they had prepackaged previously (thanks, I wanted fresh cut lunch meats not prepackaged), they only had sourdough loaves I needed french bread loaves (sorry, my family does not like sourdough), Hormel pre-cooked bacon was on sale which would've been perfect for our sandwiches...if Albertsons actually had it in stock but of course they were sold out and apparently the people who work there don't know what pre-cooked bacon even is so they were completely unhelpful and didn't even try to help (she basically said I don't know and then left - wtf you can't ask someone else for me?? Do I have to walk around asking every single employee until one has any information?? NOT good customer service at all!), the packaged sliced cheese section was completely barren out of ALLLL the types of sliced cheeses they carry they ONLY had swiss and cheddar.... Obviously I had to go to Smiths to fulfill my sandwich making needs for my family event. Anytime I go in for fruits or vegetables that are on sale, they're sold out - and it doesn't matter if I come at 6 AM, 8 AM, 11 AM, 2 PM, 6 PM, and I've even tried going multiple times throughout the day with no luck, just a waste of time money gas and mental health. And on top of that they never have people working the actual registers when it's busy! If you go in during any rush time, like lunch, expect to wait 10-15 minutes in a line because they only have 1 or MAYBE 2 lanes open. PSA - not everyone want to use self check, there's a lot of older folks here and they need someone at a register. The only positive thing I have to say about this store is their carts are actually good, but I never have to use a cart anyway because they don't have anything in stock to fill my cart with. I have walked out of this store multiple times after getting 1 or 2 items on my list and then realizing the other 15 aren't in stock. This Albertsons SUCKS, whoever manages it should be fired. I have tried Albertsons time and time again with zero luck. Countless times I've gone there and only ended up having to drive to Smith's anyway. So, I'll happily use Smith's crappy carts, at least they actually have stock in their store. read more

This Albertsons in Pahrump has a really great online ordering staff. They are always available to talk to the customers. They really take time to listen and hear your concern. And they take action on your needs. On one occasion they accidentally sent dragon fruit instead of papaya. They immediately replicated the papaya for free. And then when I could not find them they actually delivered a second time. Later I found the other delivery and when I asked if they would like it back they told me to just keep it! Thank you! The second issue was my dad accidentally ordered conventional tomatoes instead of organic. Even though it was our mistake they allowed me to do an exchange for the difference in price. I couldn't get out of the car so one of the kind ladies walked them to my car and took back the ones that we didn't want. Thank you again Albertsons. You put my mind at ease that my dad will be taken care of while I'm away. And now since I've been away for the week, my dad updates me that the driver was able to bring the groceries in the house and put them on the counter for him. Tired of driving into town from North Pahrump to find that their bakery has hardly anything in it to purchase. There is also not to much stock in other areas of this store as well. Heading to Death Valley for a few days we stopped to buy a case of water and a few snacks. We didn't have an award card, so we asked and the cashier gave us a discount. Especially computer illiterate people and old people who don't know how to use I-phones. Your weekly sales should be for all people. Then half the stores you go to you can't get internet access. Per usual Albertsons fashion, there are great prices on some things and higher than other nationwide chains on others. Plenty of free parking with no wild shopping carts running loose. I enjoy it because I can take my mother-in-law here and not be bogged down by people from town that she knows. Hahaha... Not kidding, though, especially when we have cold items and she lives clear across the other side of town. It's one of the cleaner and more organized grocery stores in the land of Pahrump. I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered 6 spiderman cupcakes and they could do it! Most places won't make an order that small. I ordered over the phone- easy. When I picked them up, I saw they had a whole case full of 9 cupcake boxes with different kid themes just ready to go. I'd never seen that before. All 4 stars goes to the dayshift staff members. I'm always greeted with friendly and helpful staff during daytime (approx 6am to 9am is when I am most often there). But in the last 3 visits during the evening shifts (approx 5pm to 7pm), I encounter less friendly, less helpful staff members throughout the store (deli, meat dept, grocery aisles). The store is always clean and always stocked. I like their variety and selections available. Their produce and meat are always fresh. I am definitely a returning customer due mostly to their weekly ad deals and just for U deals. read more

I've been an Albertsons/Safeway shopper for years. Most of the time all seems well at the Pahrump, NV store until a while back when I was treated like a criminal when I returned a product. Had bought a Signature brand of mixed nuts/trail mix. When I tried to open it a few days later, the top was cross threaded, once I got that off found that the paper seal was open on half the mouth of the plastic jar. No way I was going to eat something it looked like someone else had already opened and unsealed. Took it back a few days later with the receipt and the gal I talked to was very growly and unhappy that I brought it back! When I showed her the problem, she said there was nothing wrong, gave me a grunt, then refunded the amount. I went about my business shopping but feeling a bit upset. Got most of my list then went to the deli looking for garlic french bread. I didn't see any so asked a young man who was in the bakery area. He didn't see any either so offered to make one for me! Really? Yes, that would be very nice. BTW it was good. Anyway, that nice person in the deli erased the crummy feeling I had from the return earlier in my visit. Got a phone call after I picked up my order saying we didn't get all the bags so we turned around and went back. When we got there they said they had called me by mistake. When I did get home half of my items were missing and I got somebody else's deli meat and cheese. I called them back and they did refund the missing items but very inconvenient to not get what I needed. They offered to round up the missing items again for me but I told them I was not coming back for a 3rd time. This is my first bad experience here but I only had done 1 other pickup order a few months ago. My advice is to look through your items against the receipt before you leave the premises. I never did that before but I will start now. Lesson learned. read more

I am giving this 5 star review for the bakery because Albertson's has the best bakery in town, at least as far as grocery store bakeries go. I haven't tried any independent bakeries in Pahrump. But I do get my daughter's birthday cake at Albertson's every year. The bakery staff is super friendly & helpful and they really go out of their way to make your cake exactly as you specify and also to make it extra special. I am impressed every year when we go to pick up her cake. I also just bought a couple pieces of cherry cheesecake from Albertson's bakery section and it is so delicious! And I'm a cheesecake snob. I am seriously impressed with this bakery! I'm blown away that a grocery store bakery could be this good because I have never experienced that anywhere. Don't waste your time or money going to any other grocery store bakery in Pahrump. Albertson's is hands down the best! Also, the deli is very good too because I get fresh pre-made sub sandwiches there that are exceptional! Forget Subway! Albertson's deli makes better subs for a better price! read more

While they're friendly enough at this store, I think they've got some serious problems either with the transportation or the storage of their products. There have been multiple occasions where food purchased from this store goes bad very, very quickly, or in some cases is molded and rotten when you bring it home (well before any expiration date!). This indicates a huge problem with the store. I've posted a picture of some moldy tortillas that I just purchased yesterday from this Albertsons. This indicates they were either improperly stored or exposed to liquids beforehand. I would recommend going to a different store in the area with fresher food. Who wants their meat placed on a scale that flies are congregating on? Gross. Starbucks workers are rude and lazy. Elderly cashier with long blonde/white hair is extremely rude and makes for a very unpleasant experience but no other lanes are ever open. They should honestly fire her because she's so awful to customers! I don't know how she gets away with it. I only shop here when smiths and Walmart are out of products and every time it's a negative experience! I'm sorry, but this place deserves a bad review. On Feb 15 shopped at Albertsons Pahrump, while in the meat department counter - there was an elderly person with her German Shepherd at packaged meat display. While elderly woman looked at meat, her German Shepherd put their nose on the steak packaged meat and started sniffing the meat & then proceed to lick the steak meat package. The dog left Sylvia on the meat package which it had licked. YUK.... A report to Corporate was filed for complaint on this, as I also told the check out clerk as well of this issue. Along with that the elderly woman - there was 2 elderly tall gentlemen with German Shepherd dogs as well by the meat display counter. a total of 3 elderly persons - with their German Shepherd dogs at Alberstons Pahrump meat department. Thou I spot only the woman's dog sniff & lick the steak meat package - lower cooler counter level. The dog's sylvia was placed all over that steak meat package - I filed a complaint with corporate offices but I am also alerting all of you shoppers to be aware of this issue at this particular store. Didn't seem like service dogs to me, and they where kept on a regular dog lease - total of 3 seniors with their dogs at this meat counter. Beware of your food meat shopping while at this store and I'm sure at other food stores as well. This is just a FYI for all alert and safety. read more

This is the best store to shop at in Pahrump. I only ever had an employee be rude to me and the manager pulled the person off the register replacing the employee with another, and had a talk with him. Other than that, my experience shopping there has always been pleasant and relaxed, and that's what all shopping should be. If customers are not treated well, the place is dirty, or they don't have good quality products, it's not a good experience. I have never found any of this to be true with this Albertsons. Staff is friendly and helpful, well stocked with all the basics and a lot of products that are not common as well. Great wine selection and Flower shop for so small a store. Far better than Smith's by a mile. And not hectic and stressful like Walmart. Not to mention some pretty good cuts of meat, and good seafood considering you're in the middle of a desert. I read the other reviews out of curiosity before I left mine, here's my take on what I feel are unjust reviews. First, you are in Pahrump, anyone who has lived here a significant amount of time knows exactly what I'm saying. Second, fore the area, this store is better stocked and has a greater selection than any other store in Pahrump. Third, there's a reason most elderly have german shepherd service dogs because this town has a drug problem and they break into peoples homes to steal, those elderly need those dogs as service and protection, and I think it's great that Albertsons understands this and is so accommodating. Fourth, I suspect those who made these negative reviews have never had to deal with Smith's. There's more I could write, but I don't have all day. Just know this really is the best store in town to shop at, if you don't think so, shop the other's, and then come here. That should effectively nail it. read more

Produce could be fresher, but the employees are much kinder than the ones at the Walmart. I was much more comfortable shopping here since there is more tolerance for diversity. I was able to find everything I was looking for without any fuss and even made a new friend! Yay! Yes, its more expensive than the other choices in town, but guess what? Its also less crowded than those other grocery stores. I dont mind paying for more to not have to deal with the crowds. Very sad to report that this grocery store has a worse selection of fresh produce than places in the middle of nowhere flyover states. They have NO vegan packaged foods (like Tofurkey brand items, for example) - just "vegetarian" products that contain whey/dairy (in the frozen section). It's so much meat, booze, soda and snack foods -- it's amazing that this is what passes for a grocery store. You wouldn't think that you were just miles from one of the biggest agricultural states in the country (California!). Just disappointing. read more

Ordered a custom birthday cake almost two weeks ago. Initially to be ready on 3/3, but called earlier this week to change pickup date to 3/4. I get there today, 3/4 and the cake isn't ready. It wasn't even started. My order was still in its folder/plastic bag, unopened. Not very happy. They start to make the cake, and now their picture printer isn't working. What else can go wrong. This printer scans a photo and prints it on an edible sugar sheet. I give them the OK to hand decorate the cake. Half way thru decorating, the printer works and the primary decoration is ready. They are able to use the picture in addition to the hand decorations. All in all, it came out pretty good. Very happy with the final product, but I'm really disappointed with their initial service of the cake order. I doubt I'll get another cake here. read more

I like this store. They have excellent produce and meat and a good selection of wines. They're also the only store in town that carries the kind of milk I prefer. One bit of feedback, though. I am legally blind and separate my produce for a reason. I also don't use a plastic bag when none is necessary (bananas, pineapple, cucumber...) as there is way too much plastic in this world. Last time I was in the store, either the checker or the bagger put my cucumber into a bag of zucchini. I left it on its own to make it easier to put away when i got home. I just wasted time today asking my husband if he had seen the cucumber, or used it or mistook it for a zucchini. Twenty minutes later, it was found in the plastic bag of zucchini. I went to this store for the last time 6/28/20. I sync my iPad to my iphone grocery list. I go into the deli area looking for the free 8 oz sliced cheese. I don't see it and ask the lady where it is. She said go to the full service area and the other lady will slice it. I wait for my turn and ask for the cheese she informs me they been out for three days. I said the other lady said you had it and I was informed that I was misinformed, ok. Next I find my pork chops and jumbo shrimps,great! I can't find the cod fillets so I ask the meat dept guy he said down there I will find it, if not we must be out. I said you guys have little satalite freezers all over which one? He told me he works in the meat dept and the seafood lady is off today. I thought meat and seafood was a department? I asked where the crab meat was that was on sale he did not know. I grabbed the rest of my list and go to self check out. I asked the guy for rain checks. He said he can't just give those out unless he is sure they are out. He said I should walk back to the freezer section and check again. I played long enough at this store and told the guy he or someone else can put my groceries back. I am done with this store and it is too bad these employees can't figure out where the money on there paychecks come from. As for me I will never ad a penny to there bottom line again. read more

The worst Albertsons I have ever shopped at. Barely anyone in the store and I accidentally entered the express check out to be greeted rudely. The cashier briefly stopped talking to her coworker to rudely point this out. I started to move my cart to next lane when I told her that I didn't see the 'big deal' hardly anyone was in the store. She made issue out it it and said she would have to call a bagger and so forth. So I took my cart to the next cashier. Then the cashier from express (who was still doing nothing) left her lane to tell another employee. They chatted and starred at me. Took me back to high school. So I waited my turn and got out of there. I would like to suggest that Albertsons review their customer service policy...if they even have one. Chalk it up to ANOTHER Albertsons unsatisfied customer. I was in the store on 12/28/18 and bought a few things . I was so busy getting a rain check on an item that I didn't notice I did not get a receipt. That night I checked the mobile banking; to my shock there was a charge for $90 on a $21 bill !! Today returned to the store and spoke to the manager on duty Brad . He has restored my feeling of good customer service ! He listened intently, was friendly, and took the time needed to resolve the issue . It was a multi step process and also want to Thank the woman who worked in the office that assisted . Within 20 minutes I had a refund of the difference between my bill and the bank charge.
