I used to stop by and buy drinks and snacks until today when the store clerk said I'm not allowed to heat up a dish from the dollar store to go along with my snacks I purchase there. If I could rate this gas station 0 stars I would. There is a White man working here who was extremely rude. He works night shift. I came in at about 11pm, he didn't acknowledge me. I went around the store in crutches grabbing my items and when I reached the register he still refused to acknowledge me, as if I were invisible. I had even attempted to make conversation with him but he was so rude and dismissive. After about 5 minutes of standing in front of the register is when he spoke up and said "we're closing in 30 minutes, I told you already." Sir, no you didn't. And this gas station is open 24/7. Very incompetent employee who clearly doesn't want to do what he is paid to do. I advise you to skip this gas station. Horrible service and so dirty. read more

I just stopped to get gas at this very remote arco. I made sure to fill my tank before going inside to use the restroom as the restrooms are for customers only. Not only was the restroom closed, when I asked for help finding a restroom. The first recommendation was that I go hide somewhere and pop a squat. I asked for another option andI was sent across the street to a permanently closed down restaurant. By this point I had to use the restroom so bad that I in fact hid behind the restaurant and Peed. I went back in and told the counter clerk how upset I was that she sent me across the street to a closed down venue purposely and her response was - "Really?". Yes really. Treat your paying customers w some respect and send them somewhere they can relieve themselves with some dignity at the very least. read more

First off - the people are a 10+ however ---- BEWARE of the following. 1) They may (or may not) have the smokes you want - seems like they just don't consider ordering extra when they are SOLD OUT ! As a truck driver, I pass through Beatty in the wee hours of the morning. Coffee time! They always have hot fresh coffee waiting, and most of the time there's an 'older' (ahem) couple working the overnight shift. They are GREAT. Quick with a laugh, and a great sense of humor make stopping here a joy for me. I look forward to it every night. This Rebel 74 gas station in Beatty, usually has the cheapest gas in town. Pretty much get gas and move on as there ain't too much in Beatty to stop for. Get to Vegas if you have enough fuel. read more

Gas is slightly cheaper here than at EddieWorld down the street....but not by much. But if you're a real cheapskate like me, that means a lot! THAT BEING SAID.....the restrooms at EddieWorld are about 1,000,000 times cleaner (don't believe me? Try the bathroom here, LOL) and the convenience store is much bigger and better stocked. Bottom line: if u just need GAS, and nothing more -- stop here. But if you need to use the facilities.....the extra pennies are worth spending at EddieWorld. read more

Nevada has cheap gas. California has expensive gas, high state taxes on gas, and gas in Death Valley comes at a premium. I paid $4.50 in Death Valley while gas in Beatty was $2.79. Also, food options in Beatty pretty much suck. The gas station is your fallback plan if you don't like the casino. There are no grocery stores in this town. read more

Gas was WAYYY cheaper here than inside Death Valley National Park! The Chevron at Furnace Creek was over $4.00 and a ripoff, although Stovepipe Wells gas was not so bad, this was cheapest! Pros: Cheap gas, especially compared to death valley, which runs at a premium of ~$2/gal, since there is a lack of competition inside the park. Cons: A bit of a wait when we went there (weekday late morning ~10-11am), interface was a little klunky and buttons were harder to push than I expected for the highest rated business in Beatty according to Yelp. Although there was plentiful washer fluid in the windshield washer/squeegee thing, it was sort of grimy. read more

Average everything stop After driving thru the middle of no where for hours we came across this little town. This seemed like the best spot for gas and snacks. They have anything from energy drinks to hot breakfast pizza lol (which wasnt very tasty). The costumer service was good and the place was extremely dirty like other stops along this road. read more

I noticed the price of gas was cheaper here than in las vegas, I didn't really think about it until I noticed I was losing about 5MPG on the highway. they don't post the octane rating on the pump, wich I bet is illegal. they are selling low octane gas here its not 87. its 85. alsi the bathroom is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my entire life. go up the road a block to the chevron. read more

Just responding to a post above. There are two food stores in Beatty-Beatty Mercantile and Space Station Store. They aren't WalMart but they do sell food. As for food options you have KC's Outpost and Ensenada Grill. read more

I went to get fuel at the pump, in the usual manner, and used my credit card. Arco, as is customary for them, required a $0.35 usage fee, which I agreed to pay. After that, however, the pump did not work. Each time I squeezed the pump handle, it clicked off. I went inside and spoke to the clerk. She said I would have to use another pump as that pump "does that." I told her she should put a sign on the pump. She said it only does it sometimes. I told her I already paid my $0.35 usage fee and asked if she would refund or transfer it. She said she could not do that. Both she and the other employee were aware of the problem and had made no efforts to warn the customer. Solution: Go to the other gas station when in Beatty, NV. read more

Warning! No purchases for some 10 to 15 minutes at nightly 10 pm shift change. In this day and age surprising to see they can't handle a shift change without closing down the cash register and store. They lost sales from my group of four hungry souls twice while I was in Beatty this March 2015. I saw other customers being turned away. read more

So I have to get to Oregon from Phoenix Arizona in 12 hours or less. Quite an undertaking and no time to stop unless I'm running out of gas. So I stop for gas at the rebel 74 with the gas idiot light on.and I grab 3 gallons of water, a big ass soda, and one of the personal pizzas. The personal pizza is a Hot Stuff pizza, New York style with sausage, pepperoni, and extra cheese. I figured I wasn't going to get anything great and I was settling for convenience store pizza. This pizza is freaking awesome!! I am from the New Haven, Connecticut area and I am an insufferable pizza snob thanks to my super picky foodie father, a New York raised Italian. It's like the food critic in Mystic pizza who would never rate pizza well and had to give up a five star rating for their pizza . I have to give the pizza here . It seems a bit odd to be reviewing a gas station but the staff here was just an absolute pleasure. The selection was great for this type of business and they have a hot deli in the back that came highly recommended by the locals and smelled great. I highly recommend stopping by just to chat up the nice ladies behind the counter. What a pleasant surprise. read more
