If they don't have it in stock they can usually get it the next day. The parts department has helped me out of a bind several times. Today I wanted the thermostat and over-temperature cutoff for an Atwood water heater. They had it in stock. The technician also took time to discuss my water heater issues and offered tips and troubleshooting techniques. I dropped my camper off for warranty repairs -- for the third time -- in February and picked it up five months later with many of the same issues unresolved... and new damages added. I've owned this RV for just one year, and the service center had it for 7 months total across 3 visits. That's unacceptable. Quality Control = Nonexistent * Scratches on the interior trim and slide surrounds * Child-level caulking job * Trim installed at awkward angles, loaded with visible nail gun marks * Mismatched crayon color sticks to hide damage * Broken glass shards, nails, staples under the slide * Broken main slide window (which they tried to hide at first) * Improperly installed seals -- critical for 4-season use * Sloppy electrical work with wires flopping around Instead of making proper bracket adjustments, they shoved in shims to prop up the slide. Even the reclining couch was reinstalled so poorly, it no longer functions properly. Poor Communication & Unprofessionalism When I pointed out their mistakes, I was met with anger and defensiveness. They actually said "It's just a camper." NO -- it's our investment, our family's time, our memories. And if you've ever met Angry Anthony or dealt with Beehive Betty, you'll understand exactly what I mean: * Condescending "bless your heart" energy * Eye rolls and excuses * Flu season blamed for months * Total lack of ownership They held my camper hostage, performed subpar repairs, and dragged the process out long enough to push me out of warranty. ‍ "Tricks" and "Fixes" from Magicians, Not Technicians I didn't bring my RV to a magic show -- I expected professional repairs, not "tricks" and corner-cutting. Loose bolts, misaligned components, new holes, and shoddy craftsmanship. Using silicon sealant where it doesn't belong just to save a buck. Thanks for the: * Extra dents * Scratched cabinets and table * Sawdust mess * Misaligned slide seals * More headaches than I can list DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE If you value your RV, your time, and your sanity -- STAY FAR AWAY. They will waste your time, damage your camper, and then gaslight you when you demand accountability. We were forced to make an insurance claim for vandalism on everything they have damaged on the rv. Insurance company estimage is for $5800 in visible damages caused by Camp Rite in Loganville. The Insurance company won't cover damages caused by poor workmanship/craftsmanship. The estimated costs of those repairs is upwards of $7000. Please take this warning and stay away from this place. Posted pictures of just a small amount of the damages. We met with Karen and she took us outside to see the RV. She left us to explore the RV and take our time looking at it. She answered all our questions, gave us brochures and also printed out more information for us. There was a small showroom inside the building that had several RVs. The service department was located in the other part of the building. Outside there were quite a few different RV models on display. Everything from roughing it to luxury motor homes. This RV dealership is one of the largest Airstream dealers in the southeast.

I have purchased two RVs from Southland, the most recent in 2024. Unfortunately, my recent…read moreexperience has caused me to lose confidence in Southland and their willingness to stand behind the RVs they sell. I recently discovered that the solar panels on my RV were apparently never properly connected. Since purchasing the RV, the Firefly system has never displayed information from the solar panels. I was new to RV ownership when I purchased it, so I assumed I simply did not understand how the system worked. Recently, I asked an RV technician what I was doing wrong. His answer was: nothing. The wiring from the solar system was simply hanging loose and was not connected. The solar panels apparently have not even been charging the batteries. I contacted Southland and asked them to correct the problem because this is not a component that worked for two years and then failed. According to the technician, it was never connected in the first place and therefore was not delivered to me in working condition. Southland's response was that because two years have passed, they would not fix it. I understand that two years is a significant amount of time, but that misses the point. I am not asking them to warranty a two-year-old component that has worn out or broken. I am asking them to correct something that apparently was never installed or connected properly when the RV was sold. What bothered me even more was that the person I spoke with questioned whether what I was telling her was accurate and told me that I should have reported the problem within 90 days. But as a new RV owner, I had no reason to know that the lack of solar information on the Firefly system meant that the solar system had never actually been connected. I was told that the matter would have to be taken to higher management and that someone would get back to me. I have made three phone calls regarding this issue, and today was the first time a manager returned my call. As of this review, Southland has not offered to correct the problem. There was another issue with my second purchase that, in retrospect, also bothers me. When I purchased my second RV, Southland included several extras that I had purchased for my first RV, even though I had not requested those extras for the second one. Those extras, of course, increased the cost. After purchasing two RVs from Southland, I expected considerably better treatment. My issue is not that something broke after two years. My issue is that a system appears never to have been properly connected before the RV was delivered, and Southland is unwilling to take responsibility for correcting it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Southland. They were happy to sell me two RVs, but when I discovered what appears to be a delivery or installation error, getting them to stand behind the product has been a very different experience.
