Called the "other guys" who wanted to change the entire furnace, added a 2 stage fan instead. When that broke months later, S&S came back and fixed it correctly with a 1 stage fan and saved the day, and it didnt cost an arm and a leg like the 'other' guys. That was over 10 yrs ago. Havent had issues since. They will come Monday to inspect addition of a mini split for some air conditioning. yay. I trust these guys far more than the other guys (who advertise all the time)

I rarely leave reviews but I had such an extraordinary experience with S & S Sheetmetal that I must…read moreshare it! I was hunting for a solution to an aesthetic problem in my kitchen. The new stovetop was measured incorrectly and left about 1/2 inch of ugly edge where the old stove had been. The butcher block countertop had thick varnish, that couldn't be replicated, so I needed to find a way to frame the stove. Commercial frame kits were the wrong size for my stovetop, so I tried carpenters and consulted with contractors. Finally, someone suggested I talk to S & S Sheetmetal and see if they could fabricate a metal frame. After numous emails, measurements and phone discussions about how to shape it, I received a stunningly low quote. After some more discussion, they decided to send out 2 people to make sure the measurements were accurate! They came, they measured and a week later called to say they would come and INSTALL it, to make sure it fits! A very nice fellow came and adhered it, cleaned it and made sure I was happy. I truly can't remember the last time I had this kind of service from any company. They were going to honor their $30 quote and I insisted on paying at least the 1 hour service rate. I realize not everyone needs metal fabricating but if you do - these are the folks!! They do stainless steel, copper and seem to do both commercial and residential applications. I saw pictures on their website of metal roofs, metal countertops, window framing, gutters/rain covers, decorative metal, even sculptural fish for outdoor display! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Thank you so much for your exemplary service and fantastic work.
