A friend noticed a long crack on it one day which surprised me so I needed to get it fixed. I called C Auto Glass a day before to inquire about their windshield repair services. The young woman on the phone explained the service and told me what days/times were available for an appointment. I scheduled an appointment right then on the phone. I was able to get an appointment for the very next day, on Friday, January 17th. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the front desk receptionist. My car was then taken in to be repaired. I waited in the small waiting room while my car was being worked on. I waited for about 2 hours until my car was ready. I was able to work on my laptop while I waited because they have wifi. They also did a recalibration (just over $200) which is readjusting the car safety system and sensors in the front of the car where the camera is. They used a software to do this and per my receipt, the process takes under 10 mins. After my windshield was replaced (about $300), I was told to leave the adhesive (sticker) on for 24 hours. This allows the adhesive to properly bond or stick with the glass. I was also told not to wash my car for 5 days afterwards to prevent harm to the glass. This may mean that they used a less durable glass but perhaps that is standard procedure. Service was efficient and friendly. It's early February 2025 now and my car windshield still looks great. "Unbelievably bad service", should be the description of what this shop does. I took my car in to…read morehave two audio amps installed, the guy working there charged more than another shop would have to do the same work but he could get me in sooner than other shops. I left him specific written instructions and details of my equipment that was to be installed, along with my verbal instructions of what I needed done. The installer wired the two amps up and left them unsecured to the car, so they were just sliding around in the car. He also left the wire that turns one of the amps on disconnected. He left a whole lot of copper wire stands all around the amps, as if he were trying to cause a short on purpose in my equipment. He broke a clip that secures the facing around my radio head unit in the dashboard. He left my microphone disconnected from the radio, resulting in people not being able to hear me while using my phone when connected to my radio. He also cut my seat belt harness cable on my driver's seat all the way through very neatly, leaving the heat Shrink plastic around it somewhat in tact to slightly hold it in place. That by itself is going to be at least $150-$250 to have replaced. My advice is to keep your car away from this shop if you value your car. There's a good chance that whatever work you want done will not be done properly, that you'll be overcharged for the work, other equipment in your car will be broken, and you'll be here writing about what horrendous things happened to your car. On a good note, the installer sounded professional and was polite, before he turned into Mayham. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP.. Oh, almost forgot, there's a dent now in the door area that's visible when the car door is opened, I believe the installer may have mental problems. There are better shops to have your work you need done properly done.

Again, walked right past me never said anything. The owner gave him some instructions to do something (later I drove by and I saw them cleaning his car). I left at that point and went next door and got an oil change in 10 mins. Fast forward 30 mins, I went back because my initial intention was to get a car wash and oil change. I pulled back into their location. Waited another 5 minutes behind a car that was getting vacuumed. Both the kids saw me, and never approached or even signaled. I don't blame the employees. I blame the owner. He clearly doesn't have a customer centric mindset or environment. I say this because he had zero issue with pausing his operation to address his own needs of washing his black Mercedes. I am a local resident and typically have a great deal patience; however, this place is poorly run and would not recommend it to anyone. Please don't try and make up to me with a coupon, or something to that effect. If you do anything, change your customer service policies and set an example.

It was a little difficult to schedule during the weekdays and during business hours since you need to allow for enough time (up to 4 hours). If you have a lot of pet hair or it is extremely dirty, it will likely take longer. I purchased a Groupon for a complete car detail, both indoor and outdoor, so they were also difficult to schedule since the Groupon was so popular. Green Light Auto is located just off the corner on SOM Center and Vine (you'll see the sign for their neighbor business, Flavors On The Vine, but it is the same lot to turn in). We missed the turn the first time since the store front wasn't as obvious. Once you drop off the car, they will call you when they are finished. We dropped the car off shortly after 8 AM on a Friday and came back around noon, but just had to wait 15 min more for them to finish. We sat in the little lobby and brewed a coffee with their keurig while watching whatever show was on their tv. Nikki (sp?) was the one who detailed our car and she did a fantastic job!! All the nooks and crannies were cleaned out and the outside of the car was sparkling. I'd highly recommend going here for a car detail, if you want to treat yourself or as a really great gift to someone. They don't list the prices on their website, but mine was already paid for since I bought the Groupon. I saved a lot of money but still made sure to tip on the full price (still ends up being cheaper). Car detailing gets 5 starts but giving the place an overall 4 since the detailing did take over 4 hours to complete (not complaining since it was beautifully done, but just had planned to get back to work after lunch).
