I visited C-Auto Glass, formerly Cuyahoga Auto Glass, in January 2025 to fix the front windshield window in my car. A friend noticed a long crack on it one day which surprised me so I needed to get it fixed. I called C Auto Glass a day before to inquire about their windshield repair services. The young woman on the phone explained the service and told me what days/times were available for an appointment. I scheduled an appointment right then on the phone. I was able to get an appointment for the very next day, on Friday, January 17th. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the front desk receptionist. My car was then taken in to be repaired. I waited in the small waiting room while my car was being worked on. I waited for about 2 hours until my car was ready. I was able to work on my laptop while I waited because they have wifi. They also did a recalibration (just over $200) which is readjusting the car safety system and sensors in the front of the car where the camera is. They used a software to do this and per my receipt, the process takes under 10 mins. After my windshield was replaced (about $300), I was told to leave the adhesive (sticker) on for 24 hours. This allows the adhesive to properly bond or stick with the glass. I was also told not to wash my car for 5 days afterwards to prevent harm to the glass. This may mean that they used a less durable glass but perhaps that is standard procedure. Service was efficient and friendly. It's early February 2025 now and my car windshield still looks great. I am back with both vehicles. Scott (manager) was very clear on what may have cracked windshield. He also explained oem vs aftermarket as far as pricing goes. Service was great...again...and i did not have to cause insurance to raise my rates due to loose truck or road debris. read more

!!DO NOT USE!! Contacted C-auto glass thru Windshields-To-Go. Repair was complete, but condenser sensor is missing and they broke the back of my rear view mirror. C-auto proprietor, Joe, disputed my claim and did nothing to resolve the issue. He was combative and believed his tech over my testament. Now my defroster will not activate without the sensor and the lead is just dangling. Joe claimed the sensor was not installed after the previous repair 8 years prior and not his responsibility. That is convenient. Second, the mirror housing pulled apart during the repair, which severed wiring inside. Now the integrated compass display does not work. Joe blamed coincidence, vehicle age, and me for damaging the mirror and was not accountable for the damage. - He claims the tech did not even take it apart. Nonsense and total garbage. Irresponsible techs and unaccountable management. Joe claims he is a gentleman, but does not like to talk about customer issues. This company was recommended to me by a guy who has a tow truck company. I had a crack in my windshield that I have put off repairing for too long. I had already called 2 other companies for quotes. I called C-Auto and they were the lowest price, they gave me a quote right over the phone within about 2-3 mins of the call. The girl who took the call was very pleasant. And on top of them having the best price, they come to your home and do work there. They came the very next day and Will did a perfect job. He was even chill and patient when I stood there for a while watching and asking questions. I was able to pay with a credit card after the job was done. I couldn't be happier with the service. Cheaper is not always better!! I had the worst experience in dealing with this company. I found them online and decided to go with them because they were the cheapest in replacing my car window but I soon found that the cheaper price came with a lack of professionalism and customer service. The technician that install my window was actually nice and professional but unfortunately he broke some bolts while trying to install the window and a job that was only to take a couple of hours ended up taking 2 days. The technician apologize for the mistake and said that he would take the inside of my door with him to be able to remove the broken bolts. At this point I'm still without a window and the technician left the glass in the window only to be held up by a suction cup. I called to speak with a manager to discuss the matter and no one was available at the time. I left my information and ask someone to give me a call back needless to say no one call me back the next day. I had to call them to inquire what was the status of my window in which at that time I ask to speak to a manager again and was connected with a lady by the name of Christine. In explaining the situation I ask Christine how would it be rectified and I will be compensated for my inconvenience. She then question why what I need to be compensated and I explained to her that the window was not properly installed and only being held in place with a suction cup which runs the risk of the glass breaking if I was to drive the car and because of that i had to call off work. And with that being the case i dont feel that i should be paying full price for the window at this point. Christine responded very condescending and nast stating that there will be NO way that they're compensating me for anything. I explained to her that I didn't like the tone she was taking with me and ask to speak to someone else. About 15 minutes later a gentleman by the name of John called my phone. In which he did not say hello, he did not ask to speak to me, he did not refer to who he was or where he was calling from nor did he inquire what my issues was. He instantly came on the phone being very verbally aggressive, and unprofessional rudely telling me what he was not going to do for me and how he had already done me a favor by fixing the parts that his worker broke off my window and not charged me. He went on to say that if I was at a dealership they would made me pay for the parts that their employee broke. When i tried to interject to speak or explain the situation John continued to aggressively over talk me and cut me off not willing to hear anything i had to say. This turned into a very heated conversation between John and I and I went on to explain to John that I was not looking for any freebies but again felt that due to the inconvenience of the situation and the fact that somehings happen at the hand of one of his emplyoees the company should take responsibility of the situation. And because of that i didn't feel the need to have to paying full price. John in turned told me that if I did not pay them he would not return the inside console of my door in which at that point would be held for ransom until the his labor pay for. I explained to John again that I never said that I wasn't going to pay them just wanted something knocked off the bill to compensate for the fact that his worker broke something on my car and I had to go another day without a window as well as take off work for something that was outside of my control. Unfortunately John never took ownership of the problem even in his attempt to explain he never even apologize for the mistake which speaks to his integrity as a man and a business owner. John as well as Christine were very unprofessional in how they chose to handle me and the situation with my car. This company lacks professionalism, customer service and accountability by failing to take responsibility for the mistake of its employees. I would NEVER prefer this company to anyone even though the price may be tempting understand that accepting a lower price you are sacrificing professionalism, integrity, accountability and customer service. They did more harm than good. My regulator for my window would function anymore. So, I called up a couple places and found C-Auto had the best quote. The window was down on my one side and I verified with the shop that they would be able to store my vehicle while they ordered the parts. I didn't want my car sitting out in the rain or have opportunity to be vandalized. Well, the parts took 4 days to ship and another to install. I have no problem waiting as I have other means of transportation. However, up on receiving my car back, there was warping in the door. Like someone had left it out in the rain with the window down (geez, I wonder how that happened) and that warping had never been present before. So, I go to pick up my car and the first thing that happens is the "airbag" light alarms and won't go off. The technician kindly looked at the car and denied any involvement as there are no airbags in my door. Next step, calling back the shop's hotline. I brought the car back in to be looked at for free which was nice. However, the technician vehemently denied any damage to the airbag sensor. He did however state that where the area had warped by my passenger door- that is exactly where the airbag sensor is located and it's facing up! Of all things, I would just like a reputable mechanic shop that I told them to take their time with my car to take ownership of their mistakes. Now I have to go get the sensor fixed to no fault of my own. Hopefully I don't get into any accidents! read more

NEED AUTO GLASS? I've been in the insurance business for 40 years and have dealt with countless glass companies - some good, some bad. Recently, the windshield on my 2006 Toyota Highlander Limited Hybrid cracked. I called many places and C-Auto Glass came in at $183 INSTALLED AT MY HOME. The next lowest price was $338 plus tax and I had to take it there. I thought that it was probably inferior glass. Nope! It was the same glass as the old. Robert was the technician and C-Auto Glass hit a home run when they hired him. Not only was he courteous and professional, but he even went so far as touching up my windshield wiper assembly are with black touch up paint. I was happy with the price and the guys did a good job installing it. I did not appreciate that when I showed up 10 early they said they would start right away but my car sat outside for another 40 min before even coming inside. It than took them an hour to install the new windshield. So I wasn't happy that what I was told would be 45min to hour apt turned into an almost 2 hour apt. I called 3 other companies for estimates, C-Auto Glass had the Best price for windshield replacement and no extra charge for coming out. (SafeLite wanted $30 for coming out). called Tuesday got an appointment for Thursday. I had to call to find out what time the installer would me coming out; told between 3:00 - 4:00, so I took lunch at 1:30; low and behold I get a call at 2:00 he was on his way. They have decent prices and free mobile installation, but when I called she told me they would be out between 8AM and 5PM - Are you serious!?!?! Just poor planning and bad scheduling. So she says, call back the morning of your appointment and I will give you a better estimate. So I call at 10:15, she says let me check with him and call you back.. no call back. So I waited all day. So don't use them unless you have nothing better to do than wait around for them all day. read more

I was a little nervous about using aftermarket glass after doing some online research (the internet will advise against it) but the google reviews for C-auto glass were good overall and the ones that were bad were mostly timeframe issues and nothing on par with the internet horror stories of people who used aftermarket glass and wound up with a ghetto-rigged windshield. I'll also add in that the woman I got a quote from didn't do much to ease my concerns, she didn't seem to understand much about the process and was not the best salesperson, but for a $200 savings I decided to risk it and use c-auto glass for my windshield replacement. So glass I did! The technician arrived as scheduled and was professional, polite, and informative. He had the windshield replaced within a half hour, and it looks exactly the same as before (minus the giant crack). The other salesman who only sold OEM glass and tried to scare me into believing I'd get nothing but junk with aftermarket was wrong. read more

I had the misfortune of having my front driver window shot out (along with like 30 other cars in the area!). I found the company had already been in the area since they left their C Auto Glass business card on my front windshield. I called around to about 3 other places for a quote and Julie at C Auto gave me the best quote and did her best to try and see if she could get a tech to come out and at least cover the hole in the window. And while they were too busy that day they did get a tech out first thing this morning. The tech William was really great- funny and great attitude, which helped in dealing with a frustrating situation. William did a great job and while this was not an ideal experience to go through, the people at C-Auto made it as easy as possible to deal with Thanks Julie and William for getting my car cleaned up and the window replaced- you guys were quick, efficient, affordable and genuine kind.
