A little spendy and it is not credited towards the bill, which I was not so happy about. But, they found what the problem was the same day and called before digging deeper into the engine. It was a bigger problem than expected and none of the 3 technician I spoke with before mentioned that the noise could come from there. I gave the ok to fix it. What is not great is that of that over 700 $ was labor! 200 $ or so in parts and then I was charged 25 $ for shop supplies ( that I found ridiculous). But, I guess that is what is done today. The problem was fixed and a smaller issue taken care off by the GM who was not only friendly but seemed more than experienced. 75 $ AAA discount was applied as posted on AAA website. My truck is running and I am ready for a longer road trip and feel confident it will be running well. Very friendly service, clean shop all the way. Labor costs are high. I think they are not justifiable. But compared to dealerships like Firkins or Gettel, shops like Begley are a bargain ( compared to those). Thing is, there is nothing you can do about that. I will take my business to this shop from here on because the way the staff took care of my things and the GM Jason did excellent customer service. With a 3 year labor warranty I feel pretty good about riding my car through the states. Oh, and I certainly will bring my oil change to them :).

Bill, the owner has worked on my collector jaguar XJS for a few years now and although he hates dealing with Jaguar because of inability to get parts easily he still takes my car on and does a superb job. He may appear little brusque at the beginning, but the bottom line is, he's a very conscientious and nice character. The office is run well, and when they see a car will be ready at a certain point it will be ready. Never have I thought them to be anything other than honest and his prices are quite reasonable.

It was an employee who no longer works there. He reimbursed me for the parts and talked about his business model and how important customer satisfaction is to him. I feel like my part in this was that I didn't verify who I was speaking to and didn't ask enough questions. This was really weighing on me- and I truly worried about losing my bumper.
