Also, they get recycled instead of ending up in the dump. Hard working employees. They were bust after Hurricane Irma as people brought all sorts of items but couldn't have been any more courteous or helpful. When I was there in 2017 they were paying about $.04 for iron stuff .24 for aluminum. You back your vehicles up to dumpsters. Unload. They forklift it away and weigh it. You grt a receipt. You provide I.d. and such to cash out. Pure and heavier aluminum and other metal items are weighed separately. I'm into it. Thinking if getting into the scrap metal business.

Hey, please don't scream at me. I had other stuff that needed to be cashed in like my wire and batteries so I told them how I felt. They decided to refuse service. They shouldn't have yelled at me if they don't like their job or if they're dope sick and they don't have money that's their problem.! if they don't like their job, they shouldn't be working. This is not the first time they need to learn how to interact with other people instead of screaming and yelling at them and belittle in them. I know Randy is a very nice guy, but it's who he has working for him. I'm very disappointed in this. I end up leaving without getting paid for my steal because I was so disgusted. They could've handled it much better and so can I you don't yell and scream at people they said they tried to get my attention, but I did not hear them, but they need to have people directing where to go. It doesn't matter if I've been there before and treat people much better. I'm so disgusted about this. Makes me not wanna run a scrap business specially if I have to deal with behavior like this! After they yelled and screamed at me, that's when I cursed at them because I need to stand up for myself if they would've had people directing people where to go I probably wouldn't have made that mistake, but they were the ones who started screaming at me first! Their rates are awful, by almost a whole dollar less than the local competitors. Go to one of the competitors instead, the madness at those places is well worth the price they pay out, especially when we are talking up to double the price!

I was also told they would remove a competitor's container and return it properly. Instead, the container was taken and never returned to the competitor. The competitor then contacted me for reimbursement. Afterward, I learned this is reportedly not an isolated issue and that the company has been involved in multiple lawsuits. I also understand the business previously operated under the name "Liquid Recovery" and is now operating as "Easy Grease." Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before doing business with this company.

MINUS ZERO STARS!!! This place advertises they are open until 2:30 on Saturdays. I was there at…read more12:30 p.m. with a backseat full of the cans I collect during my dog walking excursions. I pick up cans and discarded plastic bottles when I walk my pup to help keep my neighborhood clean and keep the storm drains clear of trash so they don't flood when it rains. Anyway, the plan was to collect the aluminum cans to cash in and make a donation to an animal related charity with the proceeds. So, load up the back seat with bags of cans to go hit the metal recycling yard. The place is closed! No sign, no answer on the phone, phone message box is full. While I am there, 3 other vehicles loaded with metal also pull up. Obviously we were all under the impression this business actually was open during the hours it says it is open. At the very least they could have posted a sign to let people know why they were closed and when they were re-opening. This is very inconvenient to everyone who took the time to load up 'garbage' in their vehicles and now either have to unload it again and re-load it another day or try and find another scrap metal place. Fool me once, Manatee Metals... this is no way to run a business.
