I had a bathroom faucet with a leak. I first went to a big box home improvement store with off-brand parts that made the problem worse. The big box store also pushed me to buy parts I didn't need. So then I went to NPS. I told the employee behind the counter the brand of faucet I had and the problem and he did some research. He went back to their supplies and found something I never would have picked up on my own. Evidently Delta Faucets changed their design for the gasket/ball assembly. They had the exact Delta brand part I needed and it cost less than the big box supplies (that didn't work). I'm very glad I went here. He was also nice with my 3-year old who tagged along! Absolutely going here again.

Here is a timeline of why I would AVOID this business (most recent clarification re: their higjly inaccurate Houzz website response): *Am extremely dismayed that Steve Silverman has posted on the Houzz website that it was "another Steve" that we had dealt with, hence the lack of professionalism. Nope,, we definitely, 100% dealt w/ Mr. Silverman, he even gave us hos business card after the one visit we had with him on 9/18/2017 (which he claims was never in their system). Speaks volumes that they have to make up an excuse to explain being ghosted, after multiple promises of a followup. Please do your research and consider other more trustworthy and upfront businesses before going to VHI. Very SHADY & UNTRUSTWORTHY. I shall cooy/paste their Houzz reply. *Houzz Reply from VHI*- " Hi there - I sincerely apologize we weren't able to connect with you. I believe the Steve you met with (another Steve, we have 3) is no longer with the company - which is why you haven't heard back. We double checked the system, and no information was added from Sept 18th forward." *Original Google Review* Met w/ Steve on Sept. 18th for a condo reno project. We explained how we waited years to finally be able to start, and we discussed our budget, etc. Never heard back from Steve, weeks, then months after oir initial meeting. I touched base a few times, always in a pleasant manner, to inquire if an intial estimate/timeline could be discussed. Steve had one excuse after another-the most recent (recent being about a month ago) that he was going to a trade show, and would have the info within a week. I still haven't received a phone call. I completely understand things get hectic, and my husbamd and I are extremely patient, friendly, and flexible. However, to completelty blow off a client, is unacceptable and frankly, rude. My rating=Proceed With Caution!

    HORRIBLE customer service! Avoiding this location AT ALL…read moreCOSTS! Even the manager passed me over to an associate Jim. (Although he did have another customer to take care off -- and his direction was simple to the other employee... order the item like normal, not on the registry and price adjust to what her return was). Even I understood his instruction. All Jim did was huff and puff and "ohh my Gawwwd". Really Jim? I'm right in front of you. When I told him there's 2 registry's (because the first one was screwed up from my first visit to this location) he about had a blow out! I thought he was going to turn the table upside down! I said "I need someone that wants to help me.. not huffs and puffs." And Jim just slammed my receipt in front of me, again sighing and puffing. No way am I going to be treated like this. I registered here for my wedding because of their so called best wedding registry program.. Yea right! No one was being helpful! All 3 associates had clueless looks on their faces and not one bit of motivation to help me. Unbelievable! I came to this store 2 times and 2 times only, and both times was blown off without any help! The first time when I wanted to add items to my registry, they literally ignored me.. so I ended up adding items online. And having to research my own brands and items online.. no help from associates about their brands/items. Anywho, thank you Don for finally helping me with my registry. I just hope I have no other returns. Not doing THIS again!

It even has the same feel of that old Linens and Things store...Kitchen, Bath, Bedroom, all those finishing touches for your home. What struck me as different as the folks there seem to be a bit more interested in customer service. They were very gentle when it came to asking whether or not you needed any help. The store is well laid out, the Bridal Registry office being the first thing you see when you walk in. The store is set up in a "horse shoe" style floor plan so you end up right back at the front of the store when you're and...look at that...right at the check out area. I was impressed by the large amount of kitchen gadgets and hardware and am definitely going back to spend more time there.

    Jim was very professional and did a great job installing my walls for my main bathroom tub. He did…read moreadvise me that my tub was in good condition to help save money, which I appreciated. The price and timeline were reasonable. Jim showed up on the day he said he would and was done in by lunchtime, overall we are happy with the results. Just a couple of things that I was a little disappointed in. There was a lot of old caulking from the previous walls which was hard to remove. When Jim put the new caulk in for the new walls it mixed in with the old caulking so I cant get rid of it all. Also the plumber was supposed to look at the drain to make sure everything was working properly, Jim forgot to remind him and told me he called him but I have not heard from him

We visited many showrooms, including the most advertised on TV. We were excited by the designs offered, but a little taken back by the price. Jim and his Berkshire Bathworks crew were contacted and promptly arrived to assess our needs and give us a price. The price was competitive with the national chains. It was NOT a one day installation, but Jim was very forthcoming about the actual time frame for completion. Every question and concern we had was addressed. The time frame was off by a couple of weeks due to the special order of the glass shower enclosure. [It arrived with the installation holes on the wrong end of the glass, hey, it happens. The last time I made a mistake was 1957] Jim went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The job is beautiful and a complete makeover. We are very happy with the outcome. One last thought, my wife fell and broke her hip two weeks ago. I called Jim on Tuesday, 01/01/19, about installing a grab bar in both bathrooms. He was here this morning, 01/03/19, and installed two new grab bars and would not take any compensation. He is a gentleman and a meticulous worker. I cannot recommend Berkshire Bathworks more highly. They are the best.
