Bought a washer. Kept throwing codes, they would come out and tell me it's fine. Then the repair man tells me to only wash on "bulkee" when questioned why no answer. Then I call and question what my extended warranty covers that I paid for and I'm returned with some guy calling and saying "we are refunding the warranty and won't be doing business with you". Piece of crap. Save yourself the headache and go to a real business not this fake crap they try to offer. Your 2 service techs, Justin and Andrew, delivered my new dryer on 8-26. They were very professional and knowledgeable, along with being friendly and quit creative. My existing vent hookup was not in the best shape, but through his creative genius, Justin made it work with a safe and functional hookup. This saved me the cost of getting an outside HVAC person to re-do the hookup, which I greatly appreciated. These 2 guys are a great team, 5 star, A+ rating. Give these guys a raise! read more

It then allowed me to add it to my cart so I assumed that meant they had it in stock. Times being as they are, we decided to call to verify before we drove out there and the woman that answered told us it was on back order with no ETA. We explained we had looked online and we're led to believe it was in stock and that's why we called. I have purchased from Cluetts before and have always been happy. It's always the worst time to purchase an appliance when one breaks or gets old. Mark Crystal and staff make it a pleasant experience. They treat you like family recommending the best options for your needs. It was so easy to talk to them on the phone doing most everything before even visiting the store. Their website supports what you discuss making it totally awesome experience. They even had a source to get 0% for a year!! Now that helps. Shameless CROOKED CONS!!! I had faith supporting a local smaller retailer would be a win-win gaurantee to which I felt very confident with. Especially spending the extra for a protection plan offered by Cluett's. They have a very sweet delivery guy, and they come across as nice & professional but believe me, once you pay it's to hell with you!!! This is NOT a legitimate business and have violated the public trust!!! I spent $1,016.23 on an apt fridge plus added protection and tax. The fridge has never cooled to the acceptable code/health standard and I've suffered food lost and potential illness due to this. Mind you, a brand new refrigerator I paid over a grand for and never worked. I believe they knowingly delivered me a unit that didn't work. The "repair" appt is nothing but a SHAM in which the lousy scamming flim-flam artist "technician" will gather anything he can to play the blame game and shift it on you, the costumer!!! Somehow it's my fault the fridge never cooled to adequate level even on the lowest setting!?! Outrageous!!! He used the so-loved fall back excuse "you've got food in your freezer!", yes I use the freezer and somehow that's not allowed!?! That was his "explanation" and never actually examined the unit, never inspected to make sure it is not unlevel, or had a tube blockage, as I've discovered pools of water beneath the refrigerator. I insisted he check out the unit and it was only then that he pretended to play along, but I realized as he was handling all of my food, reaching over my food for no reason putting his arm pit in my food, and snapping photo's of my food, that this was NOT genuinely well intended repair visit but Cluett's Cover-Up and that's All!!! Anything he bothered to do was designed to paint the costumer as somehow "wrong" and they think that dismisses them entirely from backing what they sell and promoting a repair protection that they have zero intent in honoring. Megan "accidentally" hung up on me after I spoke of disgust & regret at buying from Cluett's. Jim is a CROOK, who baited and abused me over a telephone call, he plays good cop bad cop, loyalty & reputation is NOT how they're earning a living but by ripping people off BLIND. I wish I had researched more recent reviews because there are many people being straight & sharing their own Cluett nightmares!!! I am a nursing student who doesn't earn much money, I worked through the pandemic and saved up for a refrigerator I desperately needed. Love the staff and service at the Cleat's Appliance Store in Ware. I needed an AC installed within 24 hours and the daughter of the owner went out of her way to help me and delivered the item herself. Her husband installed the unit and I am so so grateful because I am fighting a serious illness. They came on Friday night on their own time to help me. This is just a day before a heat wave and they are lifesavers. Very kind and genuine small family business that has me as a committed customer for life. Larger businesses would not either talk to me or hang up on me. When our Freezer broke down, after 20 years it was time for a new one. Went online found the Freezer we were looking for on sale for a great price. Drove to the store, Chris, the Salesperson, was quick to locate the item we had picked out - assisted us in putting it into our truck and away we went. All in less than a half hour! Worst experience. I purchased my order on 7/25/21 paid in full (fridge, stove, dishwasher and above range microwave). I was told my appliance would be delivered and installed on 9/8/21 the only reason it was far out is I was doing a kitchen remodel and I didn't want to have to move the date. Now mind you they called the week of 7/28 and told me all appliance were there and I confirmed delivery which I thought was very fast. We'll I review the order this past weekend and realize only my fridge is finger print resistant and nothing else. So I went to the store spoke with a different women who said we can change the microwave to finger print resistant but the stove it would push out my delivery so I said no I need my kitchen back but she could upgrade my stove which I asked multiple time if it was in stock and still be delivered 9/8 which she confirmed. So delivery day comes the man calls me says he is 20mins out no problem. He gets here and tells me he only is doing the microwave and dishwasher and that there is no delivery dates for my stove or fridge and that a women called me and explained this to me yesterday 9/7. I never received a call I showed him my call log in my phone. Then I pull up the microwave online it's the wrong one. On top of that he tells me the dishwasher is a floor model. I spent over 5k on appliance why would I buy a floor model. So he takes it all back I go down to the store they tell me I'm a liar, that they are refunding me and I can go else where. I said I need appliance they said you have been doing without already so just keep doing what Your doing leaving me high and dry. Why would I lie about a delivery date? Why would I have not had a delivery date for 2 out of 4 appliance when they were all bought at the same time? How can I have just been in and never told once my fridge and stove didn't have a delivery date when I verified on Saturday. They also say there's a video of me in the store and that I never spoke of delivery for 9/8 but they couldn't see that the women who didn't give me a refund check I had to tell them she was mailing it. My dealings with Cluett's was sort of an up and down experience that ended with satisfaction. I ordered a gas stove, washer and dryer from them over the phone as I was moving in 12 days, the lady on the other end was very helpful and accommodating. I like to give my business to local stores if I can over big box places. I was moving the 23rd of July and she said she would have them delivered on the 24th to the new address. During the move on the 23rd I received a call from them that the washer and dryer were now on back order for 5 weeks. Needless to say I was not pleased. On the 24th they delivered the stove, the guys were respectful of my home and the stove was as advertised. I decided to get my money back from the store for the washer and dryer so I went to Ware and while a little irritated that they waited to the last minute to tell me my order was held up for 5 weeks I went in level headed. I actually picked out another set, $250.00 more apiece than my original and offered to split the difference with them, after all my wife wasn't going to go without for 5 weeks. They ended up giving the set to me for the price already paid. 1 week later they were delivered by the same crew. I give them 4 stars as the merchandise is quality and the delivery crew flawless. I can't give them 5 for the late notification about my original purchase, it was a real inconvenience. If you take anything away from this review, Cluett's made good by delivering the other set at the same price, customer service means taking a small hit to keep the customer and the appliances are great. read more

We have bought two generations of kitchen appliances from Cluetts. They have always been prompt with delivery and service and responding to phone calls. Their delivery crews are thorough and are careful not to damage the appliances or your floors, walls etc. I had a problem with the most recent appliance I purchased. The problem was with the manufacturer but the owner at Cluetts dealt with them and solved the problem. Well above the level of customer service I ever would have received from a "big box." Also they will price match the big boxes. Spend your appliance money at a locally owned store- no reason to go elsewhere. read more
