Dillard's Septic Svc - untitled

Dillard's Septic Svc

My reason for posting this review is to warn others about Dillard's Septic (an owner operator…read morebusiness). On Wednesday 4/14/2021 we had a 9 AM appointment for Dillard's to empty our in-ground septic tank. No one was going to be home, so we arranged in advance with Dillard's to leave their check payment in a location on our property. Fortunately for us, one of our outdoor security cams captured a very clear caught-on-camera video footage of Dillard's showing up to our house, looking into our garage to see if anyone was home, grabbing the payment and placing it inside the truck, then he decides to take a short stroll in our backyard towards where our sewer is located, he gets back in his truck and leaves without cleaning our sewer! Click on the link to view the video (length is ~1:40): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E1qTsOk6ysIcom0swkrw1hhBpucOZOQv/view?usp=drivesdk No attempt was made whatsoever by Dillard's to operate the hoses and tools on the back of his truck to clean our septic! And if not for the video, we would've had no idea our sewage wasn't pumped and assumed we were good for another year. When we called their office to complain they said Mr. Dillard "ran out of gas" and he'd back to do the service. It didn't make any logical sense to us that he would show up to his job site for a 9 AM appointment with no gas in his tank or other necessary tools to do the job. We asked them to return our check and they came back and did just that. We had a slight hope that Dillard's would've attempted to correct the issue when they returned to drop off our payment but they didn't. So, be warned folks! DO NOT use Dillard's Septic, as there's a real chance they have or will never actually empty your septic! Likely so that you will have no choice but to call them back for the big repair job when your system fails entirely!

During the purchase of our home (June 2013), the existing septic system failed the inspection and…read morethe sellers had Beall & Sons install new components of the septic system. In late July / August of 2013, we started to occasionally smell the septic system while we were sitting on our screened in porch. I called Beall & Sons to request that they come by and take a look at the system, as I was concerned that something was not operating properly. This wasnt an emergency call, so they assured me that they would be out within a week or so to take a look. Initially, they thought it was a tightness/sealant issue on the tank lid (if I remember correctly), so they made a quick fix. However, we had the same *lovely* smell while out on the porch that following week. I called Beall & Sons back and the team came back out pretty quickly after that. They did a more intrusive look at the system and determined that the NEW tank (purchased by the seller) had cracked/failed - an issue they had not experienced before with this same manufacturer (that they had used time and time again). To make a long story short -- the company took care of the problem, including (1) going back and forth with the manufacturer to approve a modified installation (pouring concrete base to stabilize the bottom) so that the new tank would remain under warranty; and (2) replacing the tank under warranty for BOTH parts AND labor. The warranty only officially included the parts (the tank), but they stood by the quality of their work, and provided the labor/all services related to this issue (failure of tank due to manufacturer defect) at no additional fee. I'm very pleased with the support that we received from this local company in dealing with this issue, and will definitely be using them again (and recommending them highly).

The Robert F Beall & Sons representative could not fathom how such a phone call could be made.
