We had a sewer backup into our house from the septic tank. I called several companies, and Rick…read morefrom A&A Septic Repair was by far the most responsive and knowledgeable. He stopped by the same day, was transparent about how to analyze and determine the cause of the backup. At the end of the day, his guesses and assumptions were accurate, and he even gave us multiple pieces of advice on how to avoid this problem from happening again in the future, probably saving us hundreds if not thousands of dollars. As a professional builder myself, I have worked with hundreds of contractors and subcontractors, and I can say without a doubt that Rick and his son Jesse are the team you want to call to solve your septic problems. They are honest, reliable, reasonably priced, and professional in both work and manners. Thank you, guys, for saving the day! My reason for posting this review is to warn others about Dillard's Septic (an owner operator…read morebusiness). On Wednesday 4/14/2021 we had a 9 AM appointment for Dillard's to empty our in-ground septic tank. No one was going to be home, so we arranged in advance with Dillard's to leave their check payment in a location on our property. Fortunately for us, one of our outdoor security cams captured a very clear caught-on-camera video footage of Dillard's showing up to our house, looking into our garage to see if anyone was home, grabbing the payment and placing it inside the truck, then he decides to take a short stroll in our backyard towards where our sewer is located, he gets back in his truck and leaves without cleaning our sewer! Click on the link to view the video (length is ~1:40): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E1qTsOk6ysIcom0swkrw1hhBpucOZOQv/view?usp=drivesdk No attempt was made whatsoever by Dillard's to operate the hoses and tools on the back of his truck to clean our septic! And if not for the video, we would've had no idea our sewage wasn't pumped and assumed we were good for another year. When we called their office to complain they said Mr. Dillard "ran out of gas" and he'd back to do the service. It didn't make any logical sense to us that he would show up to his job site for a 9 AM appointment with no gas in his tank or other necessary tools to do the job. We asked them to return our check and they came back and did just that. We had a slight hope that Dillard's would've attempted to correct the issue when they returned to drop off our payment but they didn't. So, be warned folks! DO NOT use Dillard's Septic, as there's a real chance they have or will never actually empty your septic! Likely so that you will have no choice but to call them back for the big repair job when your system fails entirely!

I learned from the county that Statewide is one of only 3 companies to do perc testing for the county. The testing requires equipment that only a few of the contractors possess. I reached out to the company and they quickly elevated my call to the owner, Mr. Alvin Sutphin. Alvin knows the area had been in business for a long time and agreed to come out to take a look at the system. He provided great feedback and measured the depth of the drywell to weigh in on the system's maintenance and overall condition. No question, this company will be first on my list to provide maintenance on the system. They are busy like many other companies, but they made it happen for us to make a decision on proceeding with our purchase. Thank you Alvin and team!
