Very friendly service and nice ambience. The food is decent. Not the best italian ever, and not that different than you can get anywhere else, but not overpriced thankfully.

So glad this is back to being Rizzos Italian! We came for the Wednesday 9.99 chicken parm special and everything was perfect. Haven't been here in years and the new decor/seating is such an upgrade from what I remember. It's much brighter and welcoming! We were able to get a table for five and our server was so nice and gave us extra of everything we asked for (specifically the amazing pesto that comes with the bread)! The chicken parm was perfect and might be my new favorite in the area, it was so crispy and delicious. If you haven't had rizzos definitely try it out, even if it is on one of their special nights because it's worth the trip!

Chicken Parm (Only $9.99 on Wednesdays!)

While driving down Eggert last week, I was happy to see an old favorite was back! Rizzos transformed into a second location of Schnitzel (same owners) a couple of years ago and must have somewhat recently transformed back. During my time as a student at UB, Rizzos was a fun Italian restaurant to go to on Wednesdays for their Chicken Parm Special. If my memory serves me correctly it was $7.99 for a heaping plate of Chicken Parm and Spaghetti. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see that the return of Rizzos also meant the return of Chicken Parm Wednesdays! I am writing this review just after returning home and am absolutely stuffed! It appears the effects of inflation haven't drastically altered the special Wednesday price either, it is still only $9.99 for the deal. Whether it be the amazing Chicken Parm deal, or another dish, I have never been disappointed at Rizzos. It's a homey family-style Italian eatery in a bit of an unassuming location, though with a cozy interior vibe. The service is always attentive and the food always tasty and filling. Now that I know they are back in action, I'm sure I'll be back for another Chicken Parm night soon! (Seriously it's an amazing deal!)

Sunday brunch with the family. Food is very good. Drinks - pitchers of mimosa and bellini- was also good and refreshing. Chicolate pancakes were very sweet and it was like eating cake. I could not eat that much of it. My only recommendation to Rizzos is to have more traditional breakfast type foods vs. Burger or carbonara. They are lacking the basics like eggs, toast, bacon, sausage or hashbrowns/homefries.

First off, the rebuild was great, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. What I didn't find exceptional was the additional charges for our meals. I ordered a Bourbon Manhattan on the rocks with 3 cherries. The drink was fine, but I was charged extra for a special bourbon which I did not order. For the first time ever, I was charged two dollars for "on the rocks". My grandson ordered a caesar salad which he didn't eat because it smelled fishy. Anchovies, which he did not order, were added to the salad at an additional cost of $3.00. Needless to say I will have to reconsider any additional visits to Amici's. If you do go, carefully check your bill.

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

In all honesty, I would love to see more options for happy hour (as of now they only offer and Aperol Spritz as a cocktail and wine and beer deals). Yet, every one of their speciality cocktails are fantastic! They are perfectly balanced and receive a garnish that draws you in the second they drink is dropped. I can confidently say they have one of the best, if not the best speciality cocktail menus in North Tonawanda. When it comes to the ambiance and Frankie Primos, it's very hard to beat. Their patio is unbelievable. A gorgeous fire pit, 2 outdoor bars and plenty of landscape surrounding the patio. The inside is always decorated elegantly for the holidays and has an upscale decor and vibe year round. Overall, I've never had a disappointing experience and Frankie Primos. The food was good, service was ok, but for these prices, I expect details to be looked at. That's what separates the excellent restaurants from the good ones.
