Just finished getting a carpet runner installed on my stairs by Maple. The experience was great…read morefrom end to end. Found them at random (I think their Yelp add got my attention) and called the number. Haneef who is in charge called me back within a few minutes and accommodated my work schedule to set up a free visit to quote on the work. Once in my house he looked at the wallpaper, flooring and colour scheme and went back to his vehicle to bring some carpet samples that matched our decor. I much preferred this than having to go through the hundreds of options, Haneef has experience and taste and it was easier to choose from a small sample set than from a giant book. When he quoted the price I was happy, it was fair so I didn't negotiate. They promised 14 day turn around and within 5 days the carpet was fabricated and they called to schedule a Saturday morning install. The installers arrived on schedule, got to work quickly, and were done in an hour and a half. The stairs look great and the workmanship was excellent. I am a stickler for details and they really did a good job. The guys doing the work were polite and professional, and they cleaned up before taking off. I'm pretty happy. I love it when this sort of thing is easy and it was. Thanks Maple and Haneef, if I have another carpet need or set of stairs I will get in touch again.

They removed previous carpeting, prepped the floors and installed the floor and baseboards within a week, starting as scheduled. The second floor landing with a railing was the trickiest part, but it looks great with the new floor now perfectly under the railing as does the rest of the 1200 sqft of flooring. If you don't find what you want at this place, there are a few other carpet stores with low prices in the neighbourhood within a few blocks on Danforth near Victoria Park. Definitely the area for carpet shopping. None of these small businesses have a website, so you have to go there to see what they have.

The lovely lady in Brothers' Carpet greeted me and asked me what I was looking for and very quickly offered to cut me a nice quality carpet size that I wanted, for a very reasonable price. I was told that it would take two days, and that was fine, but she called within a couple of hours to say that it was ready for pickup. That's customer service! Also I did not have to pay in full up front, she took a deposit of my choosing. Great experience.
