So much space, beautiful scenery, and tons of options for kids to run wild . My son had the best time celebrating with his friends. Between the playground, splash pad, and shaded picnic areas, the kids were entertained the entire time. No one was bored, not even for a second. There's something really special about this place. Don't get me wrong -- this big playground is awesome for older kids. But it's a bit too advanced/scary for a 3-year-old. Meanwhile, the little playground was too simple/easy for her. So there's a middle age that isn't really catered to. But, great for 2-year-olds and 5+. There are also multiple parks with playgrounds within a short driving distance (Champion, Olson Meadows) so you can easily park hop.

The park is actually a little tricky to find without a map. You can see, and especially hear the I35 traffic that is almost a stones throw away. Its amenities include play scapes, a large covered picnic area, paved trails, public bathrooms, and lots of green space. It also has a large disc golf course. This property has a very nice pond, surrounded by a paved trail with benches and water fountains. At one end of the pond sits a large gazebo with I 35 behind it. There is also a paved trail that leads under I 35 and continues on to Chautauqua park and beyond. This park is a real asset to those who live nearby. If you want to visit this park, there is a parking lot with about 25 to 30 spaces. I included lots of photographs to entice you.
