This is a wonderful way to spend an hour cooling off during the summer! And for free!

It has a bi grill great for cooking tons of hotdogs or hamburgers at once. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Only downside is pool. It is for lap swimming only really and is only neighborhood pool that you have to pay. Kind of a bummer for neighborhood locals. Good tree coverage so nice wvwn on sunny day and playground is good for multiple ages.

What a great neighborhood!!!!! The swimming pool, playground, and park are all in great shape…read morebecause they are so well maintained. They allow the Brushy Creek Marlins to lease the pool for the summer "home" swim meets which I feel is very generous considering the microphone and speakers carryover the noise throughout a sizable area. The winter swimmers the Brushy Creek Sailfish use the pool too. Not near as many and not much conflict as even though the Texas winters can be mild the area isn't near as busy. Not sure if the homeowners will see this post but as the Mimi of a 10 yr. old (that has been with the team since she was 5) I wanted to issue a personal thank you I hope the relationship continues for many years to come! I need to mention the actual neighborhood. Rarely have I toured a neighborhood where it's hard to find a visible mix of homes where the owners aren't fond of yard work and it shows. Or even though there is an HOA -owners are frequently allowed to break the rules. Not here at Sendero Springs. No unsightly anything!!! Regretfully, a move is not in our future or I'd be house hunting here!!!

John Pack did a great job for us in 2020. We asked him to do some things he had never done before -…read morewe purchased a sphere shaped water fountain (Aqualens by Allison Armour). It was a standalone fountain in a self contained 6' dish and recirculates water up through the globe. We wanted it IN the pool, with water flowing up and over that dish. So it was a wiring, plumbing, and pump sizing challenge. John and his crew attacked it methodically and did a beautiful job. We have had no issues with the equipment and the Pentair Intellicenter systems he installed. John's team was excellent as well - from his designer Sheri (who helped design the whole layout and planters) to his tile team (true artisans).

However, things went downhill rapidly when I had to deal with Sheri to set up an appointment for a consultation. First, she didn't call me when she said that she was going to and all I ever got was her voicemail when I called her - we're talking days, not hours. Second, she was displeased that I didn't know exactly what I wanted in detail. Every other pool company that I have talked to has come out to my house to look at the area we want the pool built on and then discussed options with us based on the area. Sheri wanted specifics before she would agree to come out. I explained that I had never had a pool before, so I wasn't sure what I wanted. After all, I was looking for a custom pool, not a cookie cutter one. Third, when she asked my budget, she scoffed at it and said that their pools started at $75K and so my $100 budget wasn't going to be enough. I asked her to come out and take a look anyway and let me know what they could do. Again, this was only because Mr Pack had come so highly recommended to us by friends. Fourth, the appointment for our consultation was set 2 weeks in advance, because they were too busy. I called 3 days before our appointment to see if they could come out 15 minutes earlier. I didn't hear back, so the day before I called again and Sheri said that she had never gotten my voicemail (odd), but that she needed to cancel our appointment anyway. Remember, she didn't call me, I had to call her to find out that our appointment set two weeks prior was being canceled the day before. Sheri told me that they were just too busy and that "if" I still wanted them to come out, it would be another 3 weeks. She then proceeded to ask me if I was sure that I really wanted them to come out. My take on this whole experience, is that Once Sheri discovered that I wasn't planning on shelling out $250K on a pool, she did everything in her power to get me to cancel the appointment- basically our business wasn't worth their time. I called Sheri back last week and again got her voicemail. I called to let her know that we were going with a different pool designer and that their services would no longer be required. As expected, I never received any other communication from her. In conclusion, I think that Mr Pack is probably a very nice person, but Sheri could use some training in people skills and unless you've got $250K to drop on a pool - don't bother calling them.
