The café and play space are wonderful! My son is absolutely obsessed with the cars and pretend play area--it keeps him engaged the entire time we're there. I also love that I can enjoy a coffee while still keeping an eye on him, which makes the visit relaxing for both of us. I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's such a great setup for families with young kids. That said, one thing to be aware of: some caregivers treat the space as a work spot, which can mean their kids aren't as closely supervised. A few times we've had to leave earlier than planned because of disruptive behavior from other children. Love this place for the younger kiddos. Clean and fun for the kids. They also have a coffee bar, snacks, baked goods bagels and bagel sandwiches for sale. I love the concept here. You make reservations to hold your time slot since it's a small area they want to limit the number of kids playing. That's a great idea. I don't like when there are so many kids it gets hectic. They turned away walk ins since the time slot was full. I tried a kimchi sandwich. It had a cheese in it and it came out warm. It was actually pretty good. Yum. How do more of these places not exist? What an amazing concept of almost private playtime with toys that aren't yours! My kids 4yr & 3yr loved their time here so much we've come here twice :). There is sooo much for kids to do here, a mini bounce house, a climbing jungle gym, ball pit, a grocery store, fire/police station, doctors office, Lego playroom, and a baby/toddler padded play area. And all of these areas are stocked with toys to play with. The two hour session seemed to fly by for the kids and they didn't want to leave. Did I mention they sell coffee and snacks? Adults are totally welcome to play inside with the kids or hangout in the coffee shop area which has little 2 and 4 person tables. I took advantage of the distance and let the kids play by themselves. The entire play area is contained with a plastic fence so the kids can't run all over the place. Note that kids (and adults entering the play area) need to wear socks... so be warned! read more

What a wonderful place to take your kids!!! The recommended age is 6 and under, both my children (5 & 3) had a blast and because you have to book a slot it wasn't super packed. I highly recommend booking online and not just chancing it as a walk in because the slots book fast. Service was awesome- the girl at the counter had such a great demeanor and I loved her energy. I got their kimchi cheese bagel and their pistachio latte.... WHAT A TREAT. Because the kids are corralled in the play area you can take a seat and enjoy a coffee in PEACE. What's the going rate for peace? I don't know but whatever it is I'll pay it, especially when it comes with beautiful latte art and a Biscoff cookie. Their snacks are very very very reasonably priced which I appreciated, a lot of children's places price gouge because they can and this was all fairly priced. This is by far our favorite play place. We had our daughter's birthday party here, and everyone (including parents) had a blast! The owner and the manager were very easy to work with. They have a great attitude and are always willing to help in-person and offline via email, etc. This place has a coffee shop inside, so parents can relax while supervising their children. The place is super open, so it's easy to supervise children. This place is great for play dates. My only gripe is I wish their membership was cheaper, which can become costly for big families. read more

I was up with my 8 month old on the Saturday after Christmas. My house was full of guests so I took the baby out early and thought I'd visit the The Family Barn in Georgetown. I went to their website and signed up for their early morning 8am slot. That early slot is only an hour but I figured it would give us an idea of how we like it. I wasn't sure how busy things would be but there were other people there. The price is little steep but the coffee really good (a legit coffee) and there's lots of snacks for kiddos. Good background music, clean play areas, calm joyful vibe. Overall toys seemed fresh and well taken care of. I do think they should replace the building blocks over in the baby area. There were sections chewed off that seem minorly hazardous. Overall we will be back! read more

Love this new space, it's so much cleaner and more mama-friendly than other play places we've been to (I'm looking at you, Indigo Play & Little Land!). The price is great, and at two hours of play per session, it's just right for my 18mo old. We had a blast and are looking forward to our next visit. Only downside is that the morning sessions fill up quick, so you gotta plan ahead if you want to attend! But the limited number of kids really does mean that it never gets too crowded or loud, so it's a solid trade. read more

We attended a birthday party here, and absolutely loved it. The place is clean, there are plenty of toys, vehicles, and everything else you need to keep your kiddos busy for a little bit! Our favorite part was the big ball pit that had a tube where the balls would get sucked up back into the ball pit. Staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, and the birthday party we attended went great! Perfect place for play dates with littles! They have a full coffee bar (with snacks and small bites), and a nice, open seating area for parents where they can fully view the kids in the enclosed play space. I like how they limit the amount of guests they allow at a time-- this way it doesn't get overcrowded. Walk-ins are welcome, but only if they aren't at capacity, so I'd recommend going online to reserve your time to play first. Be sure to complete the waiver and also wear socks. They have bouncy houses, a slide and ball pit, a small town, and plenty of toys and push cars to ride to keep the littles entertained for hours. I appreciated them having a yuck bucket, and also a section for smaller babies. I've been twice and the staff has been consistently helpful and friendly. Perfect spot for indoor play with your toddler. They have coffee and a few things to eat, even some cooked dishes. The service was great and the lady running the counter was very sweet. Parents are welcome to play with the babies (socks required) or they can relax outside of the gated area if they want. There is a ton for the kids to play with and on, including a mini bounce house and ballpit. They say after each session they sanitize whatever parents deem "yucky", ie kids put it in their mouths- but I'll say this made me take a star away because the parents sitting out to the side clearly weren't watching their children and monitoring this part. I had to remove several toys (play dishes and food) after the kids kept putting them in their mouths or licking them. As I left I went to the bathroom to change my kid and when I came back (as the next "session" was rolling over, somehow alllll of the toys from the "yuck bucket" were already back on the tables for the kids. Were they actually sanitized? It's a question I had. I tried to help put anything the kids mouthed in the bucket but I can't say I really felt they got sterilized. read more

So much I love about this place. It's completely age appropriate for my almost 3 year old. She can play and I can rest a bit. I don't have to follow her around to make sure she isn't getting hurt. There's just enough climbing but again all age appropriate. She loves playing here. Although it's a two hour limit; usually by the time the two hours is up she needs to eat or nap anyway. The coffee is actually pretty good. Far better than Starbucks. I wish they had silk next milk as a dairy free option but that's just a preference all the food and snacks we've tried has been great. I Also really appreciate that they make the hot lattes in a mug. As far as ambiance goes, everything is nice from the colors to the seating. I love that it's so easy to relax here as a parent because you can see everything. Highly recommend. Even if you need to get work done while the kids play, this is the perfect spot. *the only thing I don't like is that the snacks are out where toddlers can grab them and then as toddlers do, they cry when you take away the 30th snack they've chosen. I just wish the snacks were put away because a- my daughter could snack all day and it adds up, b- I get tired of redirecting her, and c- most people don't want to have a snack that 100 little hands have picked up all day. We took our almost 2 year old to play here and she loved it, I'm so happy we finally have something fun nearby for toddlers. Would like this to become a regular place for us to play as we have an almost 2 year old and 7 month old who will also be able to enjoy playing here soon. The coffee was good. I'm not sure if this place is cleaned up a bit after each play session or not, but we got there exactly at our play time and already the little rooms were pretty bare and nothing in its place. The bottom of my toddlers socks were filthy within a minute or two. There were kids around 3 yrs old who arrived after us in just a diaper and a shirt and were allowed to play and go in ball pit etc, which is pretty unsanitary. There were adults who had no socks and were completely barefoot in the play area and ballpits, which is also disgusting. I purchased socks there so it's unfair they were able to go in without doing so. We will probably give this place another try and maybe it will be better next time, a morning play session might be better for toddlers. Older kids kept coming up and taking shopping cart and other toys away from my daughter despite her trying to share and make friends the whole time, their parents watching and saying nothing about them being older and snatching toys away from her while she's playing. I know kids are kids, but it might be better for certain age groups to only be certain times of day together! read more

This place is great for littler kids to play until about age 6 or 7. My grandson is 8 and he watches out for his twin brothers who are 3 but he wouldn't have fun if it was just him. The set up is small and you have to reserve your time. The two hours go by quick and they do a thorough job cleaning after each group. There's plenty to do but the kids seem mostly fascinated with the ball pit where there's a tub that sucks balls up. The cafe isn't very good. I ordered a ham and cheese bagel which they put in the toaster oven and it didn't get warm all the way thru. It would've been better had they had a microwave. The hot chocolate I had wasn't very hot but at least it was decent. As I was sitting watching the kids play, I believe it was the owner who brought in supplies from the grocery store. I think they would do better service if they had freshly made items available for customers versus prepackaged. I'm basically giving the number of stars based on the food options. read more

This place was clean and fully stocked with the small things that make life easy when you're a parent (think changing table, stool in the restroom, and hand sanitizer at every table). The staff were friendly and the coffee was (surprisingly) very good! It's not the biggest play space in the world, but I love that they limit the number of children in each time slot so it didn't feel like the kids were all on top of each other. Went here last week to escape the cold and rain, and it was so fun! My daughter is 5 and she had a blast. I would say it would be good for kids 5 and under. It's new and clean, the coffee bar and bagels are yummy! Plus they have other snacks available for purchase. BUT I also love that you can bring your own food and drinks and they don't care, unlike some other indoor play places in the area (looking at you, Indigo Play!). My daughter and I absolutely love this place! One of the main reasons is because of their policies. They keep it limited to only a certain amount of kiddos so it's not overcrowded, plus they clean and sanitize every two hours, and yes I've seen them do it. We have gone just about 5 times now and each and every time, they are always super friendly, the entire facility is always clean, plus their coffee and bagels are AMAZING! They have food and drink options for you and your kiddos. It's super easy to reserve a spot online, plus they have various time options to go. They offer 4 x 2 hour sessions that parents have to book in advance prior to coming to reduce the amount of children inside the play area at all times. There's also a coffee bar that offers smoothies, coffee, drinks and snacks for both parents and children. It's a great location for parents working remotely that need to take their kids to run off some energy and/or a play date. Lastly, the staff clean the play area between each session and sanitize!
