When we arrived we checked that they had the correct reservation information. My mother and daughter's room was reserved as a handicapped room. She is unable to step into any type of tub at all. The young man at the desk said neither of our rooms had showers, just shallow tubs. I went to inspect the room before agreeing to it. Thankfully it did have a shower. My relief however was short lived. The rooms were completely unacceptable, they were dirty and unsanitary. My husband and I ended up checking 5 beds before all was said and done. We found urine, fecal, and blood spots on all of the bedding. Before you think I am just whiny and complaining, I am a nurse and my daughter is also in the medical field. We know when we see these things.!!! When I checked my room the mattress pad wasn't fully covering the bed. When I went to pull it to the edge of the bed I discovered that both the mattress pad and mattress itself were soaked in urine. This wasn't simply stained bedding placed on a stained mattress. The areas were large and matched up exactly. I know to expect dirty bed spreads (which they all were), but this was completely unacceptable! I immediately went to check my mother's bed and it was even worse. A large yellow stain with brown edges. When I say large I mean 1 ft by 2 feet. The man at the desk then took us to see a different room, that bed was equally dirty and unsanitary. On to room number three. At this point there were no more king size beds available, which is what we had paid for. It was a room with to queen size beds. Both were unacceptable. At this point there were no more rooms available. We went back to deal with my mother's room. I asked for 2 clean mattress pads, a clean set of sheets, and 2 clean comforters for her as the the fan on the air conditioning in the room was set to full blast and there was no way to turn it down. The man had difficulty finding clean bedding. He stated there weren't clean linens. When we finally found what we needed for her bed we moved on to a place to sleep for my husband and myself. Even if a king size bed had been available, there was no more clean bedding. It was even suggested that we might have to wait for him to do laundry. This man was the only one there. There was no manager on the premisses and we were told that it was not possible to reach him. He might be there in the morning. This man promised us that all of our money would be refunded. Mind you we arrived at 11 pm. We had no choice other than to accept a queen size bed and do the same with the bedding as we had done on my mothers bed. It wasn't until 2 am that we had places to sleep. Once my mothers room was ready she required help from my daughter getting into bed. The bed was too high. This makes absolutely no sense for a room that is marketed as handicapped accessible. I can not comprehend the unsanitary conditions in this hotel. I even asked the man if he would allow his child or mother to sleep in these conditions. Where else was I going to take them at 2am??? The cleaning staff are obviously not well trained and/or just don't care. They don't even keep up with the linens to make sure there are enough for the rooms they have. I know that these rooms are not being cleaned and the bedding is not being washed or changed between guests. I have never encountered anything so disgusting and I see patients in their homes and nursing homes. At least in the nursing homes the mattress material is waterproof and impermeable. Hospital grade disinfecting wipes were no use on these surfaces, and yes I did have them with me. Everything we encountered was a health code violation. Those mattresses are beyond being cleaned, they need to be burned. I will be contacting the Paducah Health department first thing on Monday morning. Due to the mold caused by these conditions, I was coughing and having difficulty with my airway all night long. When we checked out yesterday, the woman who was then at the desk was hesitant to talk to me. Obviously she had heard about the terrible conditions we found. Once again, there was no manager on the property and no attempt was made to contact us. When I asked about the refund we had been promised, she stated that because the rooms were paid for through a third party, Guest Reservations, that the hotel was not responsible for refunding our money. I believe that in the end, the responsibility lies squarely on the shoulders of the facility itself. Guest Reservations cannot be held accountable for the conditions that the manager allows in his hotel. The hotel is the one that is in debt to us. They are responsible for keeping their rooms and beds clean and sanitary enough for people to stay. The health department has been contacted and will be making a visit.

We were put in a room that in my opinion is not ready for occupancy. The bed has no headboard, the closet has no bar or hangers or door. And worst of all, the window has no drapes or backout curtains. There are only white plastic blinds that let in all the light from the bright parking lot lights. Lights in the room were not needed. It was very difficult to sleep without darkness. Also, when I turned on the A/C in the middle of the night I almost immediately started sneezing and my nose started running. When I turned it off my symptoms went away. I'm sure the air coming out was full of construction dust. The hallway on the second floor was striped down to concrete. And no apologies were made upon check-out for the conditions. In fact, the desk clerks didn't even ask how our stay was. I think she knew.

The hotel overall gives an outdated vibe-in the room and lobby. We did make it for breakfast and there was a decent selection of items. Unfortunately, when I was attempting to grab another cup of coffee when I was done with breakfast, the canister was empty. Someone asked a staff member about putting a fresh container of coffee out and she went to brew it immediately. It still took about 15 minutes but we appreciated the immediate assistance. When I went to get up I got a Horrible Charlie horse in my inner thigh rendering me unable to stand up or walk. My husband ran to the front desk asking for mustard packets. Destiny was on staff and quickly handed him some packets without any explanation. She asked if he needed catsup too and he hastily replied no as he hurried back to our room. A previous experience had a retired nurse giving me mustard as a Charlie horse remedy. Believe it or not it works. I also use smart Water and usually keep some bedside but did not have any with me in the hotel. After I got through the ordeal my husband went back to the front desk to let Destiny know he was t trying to be rude but was in a hurry and explained to her why. We checked in around 1 a.m., and the room was nothing like what we were told. It couldn't fit six people, and it was filthy. The couch had white and brown stains with trash stuffed in the cushions. The bed skirt had stains, the walls had splashes of who-knows-what, and the floor hadn't been swept or vacuumed. Even under the sink looked like it hadn't been touched in ages. The front desk staff member was kind and let us view another room, 320. It was just as bad plus stink bugs scattered around. There were also suspicious people hanging around the hallway, and at that point we knew we weren't staying. We left and drove two hours to Nashville in the middle of the night just to get a clean, safe hotel. Later, when I realized my key fob was missing, I was told someone would call after checking the room. No one ever did. I called over seven times with no answer. When I finally reached someone, he told me to call back the next day because "other customers come first," even after I explained I was literally driving through the town on my way home. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I've ever had. This entire experience fell far below what guests should expect. Cleanliness, safety, and basic customer service were all lacking. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the cleanliness protocols, room inspections, and communication practices so future travelers don't experience the same issues.
