The loaner car was stolen from a parking lot while shopping on a Sunday. When I went in the next morning to discuss with the Service Director Mike Cooper, he says "Don't expect to find the car, it is probably on a shipping container going across the country". And then proceeds to ask me if I filed a claim with my insurance since I am responsible for the car. He then refused to provide me another loaner because he said they are out of a car. The car was stolen, how was that my fault? Long story short , the car mysteriously showed back up in the shopping mall parking lot 3 days later parked in 528 ft from where I left it on the next lot over. Funny how the GPS did work to track the car. Then Mike Cooper gaslights me to make it seem that I just forgot where the car was parked. I was with my husband and he remembers exactly where we parked. Plus If that was the case the car would have been found that night in the lot since the shopping mall closed at 9 pm and that would have been the only car on the lot with huge white letters on the back window stating Bredemann Service Loaner. So it looks like Northbrook Police wasn't doing their job either? I called Toyota Corporate to ask if they could help me with a loaner car and they just pushed me back to the dealership. They said they were going to make the GM aware. I never heard from the GM, but my car all of sudden had a new transmission and I was able to pick my car up a few days later after my call to corporate. This entire situation was sketchy from the start. As a result of this situation, I am no longer a Toyota customer.

From the first conversation, Matt was straight up, responsive, and easy to work with. No runaround, no pressure, just someone who knows what he's doing and respects your time. Big purchases like this usually come with a little stress, but Matt made the entire process feel simple. Everything was exactly how he said it would be when I showed up, which says a lot. Beware, the service department here will scam you!!…read more I brought my car in to have my battery replaced, which was still under warranty. They replaced my battery and charged me full price. When I brought to their attention the battery is still under warranty, they said they would need to process the warranty, which could take a couple days. I couldn't pick up my car until it was paid, so I would either have to wait to pick up my car until the warranty processes, or I can pay in full that day and they would refund me. They never refunded me... simply strung me along with 'we are working on it'. They also told me that as a result of their 'multi-point inspection', I needed to have the transmission fluid replaced, spark plugs replaced, and engine coolant replaced. They didn't realize I had done all these at a different dealership 12 months ago. They clearly did not check if these fluids actually had to be replaced, they simply were looking to stack as many services onto my visit as possible. Go elsewhere.
