Really hate leaving negative reviews. Asked to speak to service manager 3x -- twice in response to…read moretheir automated follow up email and once directly. Have heard nothing from the dealership. Not a word. So here's my caveat emptor review. Biggest challenge is service. Took my car in for its 7500 mile service, ostensibly about an hour. After an hour and a half with no update, I asked the service consultant for an update. "They're still looking at it" ("it" being a noise that turned out to be from a bad wheel bearing on this nearly brand new car). After 2.5 hours finally done. On return visit, ostensibly a 5 hour process, I dropped the car at 7 and requested it by 3. No updates along the way, so i called after 3. Car ultimately ready by about 4. No explanation. No apology. No interim update, which would have taken about 15 seconds to do. At least the repair was successful. Again, I have followed up to give this feedback directly to the service department and have not had the courtesy of a response...so leaving the review here (and on Carfax) since they appear to have affirmatively chosen NOT to follow up with this frustrated customer. They had a chance...three, in fact. Buying experience about as expected, if also disappointing. Got the old "here is the price right now" after which I said I'd compare it with another dealer. Salesman: "Let me tell you how we do business here." Me: "I'm the one with the checkbook." Got the old good cop/bad cop routine, with the sales manager asking how he could help. Wonderful kabuki theater with everyone playing his role. Why does it have to be this way? End result is I got the car at the price I knew was right all along...and still am unhappy with the experience. Ultimately welcomed "to the Muller family" -- with lousy service experiences as noted above. Again. Why does it have to be this way? How hard would it be to make the buying and service experiences positive? Apparently harder than this business wants to try. Fair warning.

Had a great experience was able to get a great deal on my car. Didn't take all day to get the deal…read moredone which was a plus. Great price great experience definitely will be back.

I was looking to sell my 2017…read moreHonda CR-V, and used Kelley Blue Book to give me a value estimate and hook me up with local dealerships who would be interested. I ended up going to a few, including where I originally purchased my vehicle, but they all low-balled me. CarMax offered me the most, and I was pleasantly surprised at just how much they gave me. Not only was I happy with their $ offer, but their customer service was top-notch. What a well-oiled machine! Their purchasing process is very structured, and the staff member who helped me was efficient and kept me informed about what the steps were and how much more time it would take. I'm thinking I was in and out of there within an hour. I left VERY happy and highly recommend this location to everybody.

Sales side was solid: Tabitha communicated well (including a title delay), and when I came in, Dean and Christian had me in and out in under an hour. No complaints there. Service/conditioning was a miss. The car was handed over unclean dusty, no basic wipe-down, nothing. When I asked for it to be cleaned, it wasn't taken back for a proper wash/detail. Instead, a tech did a quick, partial wipe-down with a rag and sent me on my way. That felt careless and below dealership standards especially for a vehicle being delivered to a customer. I ended up paying out of pocket to get the car properly detailed elsewhere. Shout out to Detail Doctor!! Aldo! I'd still shop CarMax for the buying process, but this location needs to tighten up its service/conditioning before delivery. It's a basic expectation.

UPDATE: 2019 July 11 - The owners reply is a total lie and I am intolerant to dishonest people…read more THE CAR WAS WRECKED and all you have to do is read the other negative reviews to understand this isn't an isolated incident. I will be adding pictures of all the repaired parts of the car in the near future. 1. The front driver side Park Distance Control (or PDC) sensor has been replaced in the front bumper. Notice the rubber O-ring difference in 2 pictures. 2. Rear bumper skirt is lose. 3. The drivers side seat belt was twisted Knauz BMW fixed that. 4. Passenger side rear rim is bent. I rolled and totaled my 2013 BMW X3 the first week in January of 2019 and needed a new vehicle. M&I came up in a search for another BMW X3. It was a blue 2016 M Sport that looked beautiful. I went and test drove it and took it home that day. Erik the salesman was very congenial and I was very happy to be relieved of the out of pocket cost for the rental car I was driving. Shortly after driving my brand used car around I noticed a few issues so I emailed M&I: "Erik, was this car that i bought from you wrecked before?  1. My seat belt appears to be twisted. Where it bolts to the car body needs to be removed and untwisted and screwed/bolted back in. 2. The dash: behind the lexan/plexiglas to the far left had mold? Or some kind of dirt that should have been cleaned. Can you give me any information about that? Other than those issues I love the car and everything seems great. There is 2 small spots on the roof that the paint needs repair about the size of a dime is the largest. I will address that in the summer." Erik replied: "Clean carfax. The carfax is attached to this email." When I took the car to Knauz for service they immediately pointed out several issues that indicated that it was wrecked and repaired. Erik denied knowledge of this but I find it hard to believe M&l didn't know this car was wrecked. I take my integrity very seriously and am intolerant to dishonest people. For this reason I will rate M&I the lowest possible.
