My mom knows the owner, Meg, and she is such a wonderful presence!! The storefront itself is so cute, I love that it's in a little house and there's plenty of space inside for sitting, groups, and events! When we came on Saturday there was actually a baby shower happening in the main room and I thought the space was perfect for this. I ordered a glow smoothie, matcha latte, and a carrot muffin. The muffin was delicious - tasted very healthy but also sweet and was the perfect morning treat after a workout. The smoothie was also great and pretty filling. The matcha was amazing. I've had matcha at a few different places in Delafield and have not been super thrilled about them. This one was great and I would 100% recommend it - not too sweet and didn't just taste like oat milk. Meg told us that in order to serve this tea, the matcha company basically had to interview her and instruct her on the best ceremonial practices. I thought that the care the servers put into the matcha was really special. Overall, such a great space to stop by if you're in the area or are in need of a gathering place!! The servers and Meg are wonderful and I definitely recommend.

I would definitely come back because the photos shared by others look good! The worker was very nice! No seating inside where you order. I wouldn't imagine there are seats in there but there were a couple outside!

This past week we celebrated my parent's 70th wedding anniversary, with multiple events, one being a Friday night fish fry. We had a great time with family visiting from Illinois, Texas, California and Colorado. Dinner at Pribnow's has become a tradition we look forward to when any of us are in town.

A sad consequence of the influx of people moving to the Oconomowoc area who like so many storied towns before it in similar situations, fail to promote and support what makes these rural towns so real and charming. Love Pribnow's as that touch stone of community and local DNA. Don't miss what the area is becoming - ordinary, common and over done. Our family of 6 and some of our kids' friends (all older) came for the fish fry and were not disapotinted. Great old school fish fry of flaky sweet Perch and White Fish accomapued by Warm Bacon Potato Salad, Potato Pancakes and tartar. Server was awesome. It was all exactly as it should be. Pribnow's - thank you for sinking deep roots!

Ruben's has a classy, hip cocktail lounge vibe and the music when we were there was jazz and Buena Vista Social Club - so wonderful and not blaring so we could hear eachother talk. Ruben and his staff immediately seemed like family. We will definitely go back for the live music. We are so happy we discovered this place across from the new Mexican grocery store and next to Amalia's.

The bartender was nice but clearly inexperienced. Another person showed up who I assumed was the owner who then started badgering the bartender and asked her why she was so quiet and said she must be having a panic attack. If this was the case, I would have expected him to try to help the bartender, but he seemed to exasperate the situation. We popped out as soon as we could because it was a really uncomfortable time.

It is lawn parking for cars, keep that in mind when trying to figure out what shoes to wear. They have an open space for the ceremony outside which their staff sets up and takes down. I believe you can choose from seats or hay bales. The wedding I attended had hay bales for the guests and chairs for the family. The bathroom is in a renovated trailer and it was very clean and stocked with everything you might need in an emergency (brush, hairspray, wipes, clippers, pins, etc) I thought that was a nice touch. The actual barn that the reception was held in was spacious and beautifully decorated. They have a section in the back for the bar. There are stairs exits towards the back and front. * It's a nice place to have a wedding but make sure if you have any guests in wheelchairs this wouldn't be the location for you.

When we pulled up, a person who reminded me of Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith Show, directed up to park on a lawn. I showed him my handicapped parking placard and he said they don't have any parking for handicapped people. I would have expect better from a place a well put together. Some people have problems waling on uneven surfaces and he didn't care. Sorry, but if you are planning a wedding/reception and have no disabled guests this is fine, Otherwise you may want to look elsewhere.

Excellent food, non-existent customer service…read more Carla's Caterers showed up to our wedding 10 minutes before the ceremony started. I understand that they may have their process together but if I drop $3K on food for my big day, maybe spare me (and my bride/family) some potential stress by previously explaining your set up process and what to expect. My father worked in catering for years and was appalled that they would even set up in front of guests at all. Maybe it's apples to oranges but when I was about to walk down the aisle, I didn't want to be worrying about where my caterer was. The staff and Carla never once interacted with the bride or groom besides some RBF stares from across the room. We asked the coordinator if this was normal. We were met with an "unfortunately, that's how she is". I only took a star off for the customer service, that's how good the food was. But I'd be remiss to not warn future married couples/event-throwers about the poor communication and customer service. Carla's offers great food at what I believe to be a fair price. But I was expecting SOME kind of customer service. What we received was below the bare minimum.
