We were visiting the area and needed a quick dinner. Pizza was the choice and Yelp took us to Riverside Pizza. There is a huge menu when you get there - bigger than the online menu. If you go in the restaurant, they have Greek gyros, fried seafood platters and a variety of desserts like caramel Snickers pie and baklava. We pre-ordered pizza at about 7:15 and it was ready by 7:40. Pizza was piping hot, cheesy with the right proportion of sauce and a nice thin crust. It was not greasy (although I like a little grease on a thin crust pizza!) and tasted great! I also got the caramel Snickers pie (all desserts are $3.50) and it was the perfect size for that price point. There are about 5 booths for seating, including a large booth for larger parties, but it looks primarily like a take-out or delivery place. The pizza was perfect for our needs but this place is so much more! The staff was really warm and friendly, but clearly very busy with orders. The lady on the phone was short and to the point but when we came to pick up, she was sweet and friendly, so I suspect her phone demeanor was because of all the phone orders. Pay attention to the order number they give you because that is what you use for pick up (not your name). I forgot the number (I was 1 number off) but I think that happens often there. read more

Staff are always friendly even though look extremely busy. I'm not a pizza fan so can't say it's amazing pizza but it's consistent and decent. I landed on this place by happenstance and soooooo glad I did! They are only closed 3 days a year...Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. Other then that it's all culinary goodness! Grinders are good, pizza is ok and extremely greasy. Orders are correct majority of the time. The reason for two stars is that any pizza take outs don't have the cardboard circle plate, so the grease goes directly to the bottom of the box. I found this out by accident. I placed the box on the floor of the passenger side. After a 8 minute ride home, I take the box out and notice a shine on my rubber floor mat. Having been a fan of Riverside for the past few years, their food is good and is a nice break from the other local restaurants. I may have a change of heart for this place, and not in the good way. Recently I ordered a 5-cheese pizza with meatballs, the food was right, but the price was not right. The cost of the food was $13.24 including the sales tax but the bill was $18.90 before the tip. When we called and complained, we were told that there was no delivery fee. We were charged 5.66 MORE than what was advertised and for no reason. Have gone there 4 times in the past month and a half. Their times are not updated online so they close earlier than what they say. Most of the workers are rude. Just went there tonight floor was loaded with water from the leaking toilet. Didn't have a sign on the door staying takeout only nor a wet floor sign. Puddle so deep you'll get your shoes wet. Stood there trying to find a way how to get in after most of us got into the building they decided to tell us it was takeout only. Why were they still open ? That is disgusting. Where do I start! The food is horrendous! Fish n chips always comes in a puddle of grease and the wings are always burnt beyond recognition! Even got one wing that was completely raw inside but some how burnt! I don't know where you people get off saying they use "fresh" ingredients cause that's far from the truth. Really great food terrible delivery service. I've gotten the wrong pizza twice from these guys, the last time I drove the pizza back and asked them if they wouldn't mind driving the correct pie back to my house so I wouldn't have to wait there, my house is less than three miles away. So the first delivery took like forty minutes the replacement took over an hour. When the replacement showed up the delivery guy tried to charge me for it even though I already paid for the original pie... The guy then stood there looking at me while other peoples pizzas went cold and would not give me the pizza until I called and had his boss tell him to release it to me all of this occurred on a Wednesday and my dinner need up being three hours late, there are other good pizza places around and I don't want to go through that again so I don't usually get their food. read more

Excellent food. Everything is fresh and always consistent. The Customer service is always as it should be. The second you walk in the door you are kindly greeted and made to feel at home. The indoor seating is comfortable and the fire place is perfect, especially for the colder months. They also have outdoor seating for the warmer months with a great sized deck. They also allow us to bring our dog to sit out there while we eat in the summer.
