If we could have zero stars this will be it. I had several tools repaired here and I always have to come back to bring it to them because it still does not work. They swear up and down that they fixed it and long behold it's in worse shape than when we brought them in. They still don't fix them but yet I don't get my money back. The owner is rude the workers are miserable and angry all the time. I figured I'd give my business to them since we live close to them but in all seriousness beware of this place. The tools are over priced and if you pay cash they give you a "discount" which they give to you in " I don't charge you tax" but since they up the price 3x you'd think it's a great deal. I had my edger repaired here and spent $165 for the repair on Sept 17. I have had this edger for about 10 years and never had problems with it until now. I only use it about once a month. Dec. 10 my edger is not working again. Only used it 2-3 times. I took it back and asked them to look at it. They wanted to charge me $25 just to look. I asked them "you mean you don't stand behind your work?" they told me only for 30 days. So they hide behind a 30 day warranty, so a homeowner like myself would only use it at the most for 1 hour per month, would have an expired warranty before it could stand any test of time. The next morning, while looking at the work done. Noticed that the oil hadn't been changed, the filter was still old and nothing had been touched. I went back and I had to fight for an explanation. The mechanic admitted the owner told him to do nothing. And was not given a refund. This place should be shut down for bad business practices. read more

Drove here at 9:25 am on Saturday and place looks like it is Out of Business. All boarded up with No Windows or front door to walk in. Another guy drove up with his lawnmower and left. All the bad reviews made me decide to drive over and meet the owner before spending any money here. Glad I made the drive without my Mantis Tiller in the car. read more

Terrible place. Everything I've brought there has come back in worst shape then when it was brought in. I had to adjust the carb on both string trimmers they worked on. My mother brought in her lawnmower that only had bad gas and they had it torn apart when I got there. Shouldn't that be the first thing they check? read more

An astonishing place of business! The other one star reviews were spot on. Too bad one star is the lowest allowed by Yelp. Do yourself a favor and avoid this joint. There are too many honest places of business. I stopped by Riverside Lawnmower today to purchase a primer bulb and fuel line for my chainsaw. The place was cluttered with broken equipment and the worker (owner?) couldn't find a thing. The place was a disaster. I was speechless when the proprietor told me the price, but went ahead with the purchase anyway. Later that day, a little research revealed I had paid about 4x the market price for those items. I should have read the reviews first before taking my lawnmower for a tune up. It took a week for my lawnmower to be ready. I had to be calling every other day for an update. Do not expect a call to let you know that your tools are ready after service. read more

I would have gave ZERO stars if possible we went here to get. 4 month old new craftsman lawnmower tuned up basically and they said it would be $25 dollar deposit and would transfer towards repair if needed however it was just brought when they called to say it was ready he said the carburetor was clogged and he unclogged it but when we showed up to pick up they charged me a extra $125.00 besides the deposit WTH I am infuriated this place definitely takes advantage of their customers, And ROBERT the gentleman who was helping my elderly father was RUDE listen never go here they are a very dishonest business read more

I took my weedeater to this place since its close to home, went back a week later for the owner (asian guy) to tell me that they had not looked at it... I left it there, went back the following week for him to tell me that he did not know how to fix it.... I decided to take it elsewhere... When I grabbed it I noticed that some of the original parts were replaced with used parts..ie, starter rubber grip, trigger, cover that goes over the spinner.. I confronted him on it and he did not have an answer... When I left I made sure to let him know what a bad business he is running.. I don't recommend this place to anyone... Some Asian lady with very little knowledge of the English language just keeps saying " I call you. I would not recommend this place I took my blower in because the pull cord snapped and the price was $39 to fix. I am not sure if this is a good price or not but I did it anyways. I went in on a Saturday to pick it up and everything seemed ok but I did notice that my blowers throttle felt strange and was filled with grease all over the handle and I did not think much of it. I made the mistake of not testing it out when I picked it up because on Monday I tried to use the blower and although it worked the pull cord is short and I guess the guy who fixed it broke the gas / throttle and instead of fixing it made it so the throttle was on full and could not be adjusted I noticed that my blower began to get hot and started to smoke within a few minutes of use, so I decided to inspect it I took it a part and noticed that he tried to fix it by shoving some card board and bent the hell out of the rod for the throttle. Long story short it took me almost 3 hours to fix this guys mistake and I didn't even want to call them to have them fix since they where shady enough to do this in the first place. I also noticed that my filter was missing so now I need to go buy a replacement filter. This place seemed like it would be ok, but turned out to be a head ache and I do not trust the way they do business. I will never go there again and I would not recommend it to anyone. I normally take my stuff to the Sears repair center and I have never had any issues I guess if you find a reliable place it is best to stick with them. read more

I have had a great running Toro mower for 20 years plus. My old lawnmower shop went out of business, so we took our mower to Riverside Lawn Mower. Wasn't too impressed with the Asian lady that answered the phone, she led us to believe the mower would be done the next day and we could pick it up, but it was not ready. Went back again on Saturday and it was ready so i took it home after paying them $135. Well, a couple lawnmowings later the engine would not keep running, it kept dying and did not want to restart. Took it back (they gave my son a hard time about warranty on repairs) and they "supposedly" fixed it. Got it home today and same problem, will not stay running. Was told it was "low compression" problem. They could have told me that last time and saved me $135. So I would say, stay away from here, you can and I hope, do better somewhere else. Hadn't realized the reputation at this place was edgy, I read some other reviews that seem to confirm the problems I had. May not be their fault entirely, as we knew the mower was getting old, but they could have told us it was a lost cause. read more
