The perlite is about 4cu ft and it beats anything you'll find at the hardware store. It's such amazing quality and quantity for the price. They essentially have everything you need for whatever you're growing. I had some questions regarding some products and what I might need to grow certain things and the guy behind the counter was sooooo awesome and helpful. He recommended the minimal things I needed and the products didn't break the bank. He let me know where to place it outside and how long the growing process was. I'll 1000000% be coming back whenever I need more stuff. The only thing I didn't like is that the prices aren't posted. You gotta go online at their website and search the item you want to find the price. The only prices I saw listed were the sale items. But other than that, all great.

I received an Azalea that arrived severely stressed and completely dehydrated. I reached out to customer service "George" expecting a replacement plant or a refund, but his response was "Just water it." For the price paid, I expected a healthy plant, not a resuscitation project. Telling a customer to water a plant that arrived in this condition is a complete brush-off. Save your money and buy from a nursery that actually stands behind the quality of their plants. I won't be shopping here again.

I told them never mind, then, and to just cancel and refund the order. George replied "Ok sure ill check to see what we can do for you. Thanks" ... this was over a month ago, but I never got a refund, and the order is still just listed as processing/pending, and the order was placed in NOVEMBER. I have opened a BBB dispute, but the BBB just keeps saying they can't get a response. Guess I have to dispute the charge on my card or take them to small claims court...

Over the years I've picked up bushes, herbs, flowers bushes, and free trees. This year i liked the sapling for a Flowering Plum Tree (no fruit despite the name). Prices are reasonable and the staff are helpful with selection and care tips, too. Additionally, they have all the tools and plant food you can possibly want.

I had called the nursery that is located about seven minutes from my house. It's not Parkview. I asked them if they had the particular root stock and tree in stock. Their response basically was we have that variety of tree Santa Rosa plum but we don't know what route stocks we have. I said can you look and tell me. Their answer was no if you want to see you can come down and look. After hanging up the phone and disbelief, I called Parkview nursery on Chicago Avenue and again I got the outstanding service that I'm used to there. I told the gentleman who answered the phone what I was looking for he said let him check. He came back in about a minute and told me that they had that rootstock, but asked me why I wanted that particular type of rootstock. I explained to my situation and the type of soil and he recommended a better root stock that I was not familiar with. I had even gone on the Dave Wilson Nursery the supplier of fruit trees and it didn't catch my attention. He was absolutely right the root stock that he recommended was 100 times better and they also had that in stock. Needless to say, I got in my car drove the 35 minutes. It was greeted with outstanding customer service by every employee I ran into. If you are looking for a true outstanding nursery, this is the place to come. They have caring employees who really want your landscaping/gardening adventure to be successful.
