Super happy with my experience here! The osam bul go gi was really tasty- well seasoned, a good portion, and reasonably priced. Service was good and place has got a cool vibe too. Some of the best Asian food I've had so far in the tri state area.
I got the japchae with beef lunch special to go, which was ready quickly, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Just was a little disappointed that there was no kimchi or potatoes with the banchan.
Best Korean food in northern Kentucky! Huge portion. My bulgogi beef was good for multiple servings. Everything was delicious and service was great.
Just a wonderful place for lunch. Had the crab rangoon for an appetizer and then my daughter had the Bulgogi and I had the Crispy beef rice bowl. Both had wonderful flavors and were fresh and hot. I loved pickled yellow radishes. Service was outstanding. I'm just so excited to find this gem. Well worth the trip across the bridge for such a great lunch experience!
I recently visited Riverside Korean with a few friends and the food was absolutely amazing. My friends are a bit of picky eaters but they all enjoyed the food. We opted for the more traditional seating on the floor for the immersive experience. All the dishes were flavorful, hot, inexpensive and good portion sizes. Our server was very pleasant, engaging and helped us to choose meals (which did not disappoint).
Great lunch or dinner spot! The serving size was really good. I had leftovers for dinner and they heated up well. The service was good and I liked the vibe of the restaurant.
In what was once a former mini casino run by the syndicate this restaurant is authentic Korean. The menu is not overly complicated. The choices are simple and the accompanying items like kim chi, cucumber salad, slaw, pickled daikon, are good accompaniments. We chose the bul gogi hot pot. Plenty for two. Service was friendly and just adequate. The rooms are good with and option of traditional floor table, booth and free standing table. A small bar is in the adjoining space.
I think this restaurant is warm and inviting, it is small and cozy? I like that they have a dining area for sitting on the floor with pillows and seating in chairs. There's not a lot of seating but a decent amount on both sides of the restaurant. There's street parking available and sometimes limited. I love the soups and stir fry, especially on cold days. I recommend trying something in every category because their food is high quality. I felt that everything was made well, seasoned well, and delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice. The banchan (side dishes) are also delicious and pairs well with everything. I recommend trying everything at least once or twice. Staff is very nice and very kind here. They're very accommodating and they really take care of their customers. We had a great experience and everything was delicious and well made. I would recommend if you want to try authentic Korean food and a cozy and warm experience. I would recommend for small groups and a casual date or hangout! If you have a bigger party, I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation.
My gorgeous gf and I love coming here! Their menu is very easy to navigate (vegan options clearly defined). Staff was also so friendly. They had the perfect balance of coming to the table to make sure everything was ok and also letting us enjoy the meal. And everything was so perfectly seasoned. As a note, it is possible to eat at the bar if you aren't able (or forget) to make a reservation.
Overall, the dishes were still good with the mix of seafood, tofu, and rice; however the Soondubu jigae and jjampong broths tasted mild and lacked depth of flavor. I appreciated the traditional Korean seating option and service is very friendly
Will say this place is the ideal spot for a date night. You can get a very well sized meal for an affordable price, and I've never tried anything I haven't liked. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable of the menu, and doesn't mind if you mess up pronouncing some meals (we sure did). Will definitely be making a return to Riverside, honestly can't get enough.
Thoroughly enjoyed this place! Tried to go last year but the wait was too long. We went on a weekday evening and we were seated right away. Service was very friendly! We shared one of the hot pots together and for the money we paid we got a lot of food. We could not take it all home but they did offer to let us. It just tasted very fresh and we really had a good time. Ambiance is really cute! They have a place where you can sit on the floor and your table is at floor level. Very authentic. It's easy to park nearby on the street or there is a garage literally half a block away that is also very cheap. Definitely will return!

Very nicely flavoured and tender chicken. Rice cooked perfectly. I do wish I would've ordered a bowl for a bigger mix of foods and more complicated flavours, but what I got was good and filling! The environment is clean and very nice! There's a more traditional side of the restaurant and more trendy side, where the bar is. The outdoor seating is beautiful. The service was great and they were very accommodating. They did an excellent job serving groups and the whole experience was about 40 minutes- super impressive. They had multiple groups on site at the time. read more

I came here for dinner with my mom during our recent visit to Cincinnati. We came during dinner time and arrived just before the rush hour, so we got seated immediately. We ordered our food in mere minutes and got our sides and appetizers to the table in a few minutes. I ordered japchae, and my mom ordered bulgogi with rice. The food was spot on, and they were delicious! I highly recommend this Korean restaurant if you are in town and looking for a great Korean place to satisfy your Korean food craving! read more
Make reservations. The restaurant gets busy quick. The service is great, but the food takes a while time to come out. I recommend ordering an appetizer like the seafood pancake if you come hungry. I lived in LA and Atlanta where there are tons of good Korean restaurants and this place has amazing Korean food and worth the wait. read more

Received delivery via UberEats for lunch yesterday and boy was I glad I did! I ordered Yang Nyum Du Bu, Jab Chae and a house salad. They were generous with the bulgogi in the Jab Chae although the dish was quite oily. However, the flavor was still there. The Yang Hyum was pretty tasteless for tofu but that's pretty standard. They made up for it with the flavorful sauce that accompanied it. The house salad was a pretty large size and the sesame dressing was delicious but yet again, a tad oily hence the one star removal. The included banchan during lunch was a pleasant surprise. I would rate them 5 stars but due to the oil deducting a star. Overall, excellent lunch meal and I hope to eventually dine-in one day. read more

This is a great place for authentic Korean food. The ambiance is mild to loud noise level. The place is nicely decorated with Korean design. The staff can vary from time to time. The last time we visited the service was absolutely terrible. The one individual acted like it was a chore to wait on us. For the most part the service is pretty good. The food is always delicious and consistent to the amount being charged. We ordered the seafood pancake which is absolutely always full of fillings and flavors. We also ordered the steak strip jab chae which is super delightful and full of vegetables. We also ordered the bulgogi dish. This dish is super good and full of flavor and seasoned very well. They also include a variety a pickled vegetables and radishes. The picketed dishes are very nicely marinated and seasoned extremely well. I highly recommend this location for genuine fresh Korean food. It is always good to make reservations in advance. read more
We visited this place a few years ago and said we'd be back -- and we did! And it's just as good as I remember. Getting anything in a hot stone will keep your meal piping hot from the time you get it to the time you finish! The Bulgogi was absolutely delish and the kimbab was perfect. The food was awesome! I love the interior as well. I'm Korean, and I can say these food taste very authentic. For Galbi-tang (the soup in the picture) was good. But they didn't have the sauce that Galbi-tang usually comes with. Either way, the food was still good. I would recommend this place! One downside: parking is street parking and the neighborhood is not the best. read more

Delicious pan fried dumplings and a very good hot pot. I came here because so many people recommended it. The hot pot was huge and it can definitely feed 3-4 people. We chose the bulgogi beef which I wasn't a huge fan of as it was a bit too sweet for my taste but my boyfriend loved it. It came with white rice, and it was certainly filling even without it. The one thing I was confused about were the cold side dishes as the hot pot was very rich and I couldn't see how this fits into the meal. We also ordered the oksusu-cha (corn tea) which was very new for us and it tasted like popcorn kernels! read more
I made reservation for 6:15 for dinner for 3. We were there on time, it's a small place, we were seated at the booth, the right side is the seating on the floor and require u to sit with your knee crossed. I felt lucky that i was not arranged to sit there, as i have knee problem. That will be really hard. The restaurant use a on line menu, you scan and get the menu from your phone. We ordered the deep fried and pan fried dumplings, both are very good. I ordered Korean seafood pancake, it's so good, and i forgot to take a picture. We also ordered main course, sea food noodle soup, black bean stir fry noodle and i got the sea food stew. All are very good. We ate it all. Next time, if i ever came back, i will try their hotpot. The worst service that I've ever had. My husband and I visited for lunch with a group in for a convention. I was excited to try the food because it is touted as the best Korean in the city. Our server, was rude from the beginning. When my husband asked for a little extra time so I could look at the menu ( i was speaking at the conference and running a few minutes behind the group), he was told no, nobody should have to wait on you. True to his word, the server left the table without even asking my order, although I was ready by the time he finished with the rest of the group. I gave him a few minutes to return, then I got up and found him myself to place my order. He didn't understand my question about the menu, so I had to get up and find him again to clarify. I never got a glass of water like the rest of our table. The last straw was when our server began bringing out food for the table, he turned to my husband to say we're out of your order. It had been over 20 minutes, everyone else's food was ready, and just now you're letting us know? My husband complained to the manager who did nothing and said the service was due to the lunch rush. I've been in many a busy restaurant. Never has a rush prompted ignoring two people at a table while serving the other 8. And the food was fine. It may be better for other dishes, but my bi bim bap wasn't any better than others I've had at Korea House or even Drunken Bento. It certainly didn't hold up the reputation of the restaurant or do anything to make up for the service. read more
There is truly nothing that I love more than a dolsot bibimbop. I have never had one that isn't good, anywhere. Unfortunately big rona 2020 has us unable to enjoy our food in steaming hot chunks of stone that make our food sizzle and crackle and stick the edges with delicious crispiness. So what do you do for Korean takeout? You go to the best Korean food in the area. I called up Riverside and placed a to-go lunch order for two bowls, after asking what they'd do without me getting to utilize that awesome dolsot. The gentleman answering the phone informed me they still use the same process, still throw the food in there and let it sit and crisp up, then mix it up, let it sit some more, and package it. Because of these extra steps they gave me an eta of about 25 minutes, which is still perfectly fine on a Wednesday afternoon. Came in, they had hand sanitizer readily available, and two separate buckets of pens (clean and used), as well as wipes for the credit card and scanner they used for my payment. My order was there, ready to go, and it wasn't long before I got to Goebbels park to dig in. Total treat! Tons of veggies in here, a LOT of different accompanying pickled things (you know how Korean food is, other than Kimchi I don't know the name for any of it, sorry), and probably the best hot sauce I've ever had. Seriously. This stuff was STRONG, but it didn't just add heat, it wasn't just making you sweat and thirsty, it made you want more hot sauce... It's like the instant masochist's condiment, and it was liberally applied to my bowl. Eager to go back and sit down in their cool space when I can eat my food out of a bowl like it properly deserves. Tried this place out a few weeks ago. My bf and I both got the Bul Go Gi. It was delish and flavored really well. We opted to try the style of eating on the floor which was a cool experience but if you have long legs beware because its a tight squeeze. Always on the hunt for Koreans stews and found myself here per recommendation by a coworker. I love Korean food and make it all the time at home but often impossible for me make a good bone broth at home and that's what I'm often craving on chilly days. Came here with a few friends one evening specifically for Soondobu jjigae -- traditional spicy korean stew with seafood and soft tofu. And in all honesty - it was okay. Wasn't super flavorful and lacked the kick soondobu jjigae often has. It didn't come out bubbling hot as it usually does. The broth itself was very watery. But I appreciate that they didn't skimp on the seafood. Probably wouldn't come back here again for soondobu - buy the BCD Tofu House soondobu pack at CAM international for about $3-4 and make it at home, came out more delicious than what I had here. Maybe soondobu isn't their strong suit so if I were to come back I'd definitely want to try Seolleongtang (bone broth soup) and see maybe if that'll be better. read more
Yang Nyum Du Bu was delicious! We Enjoyed the soy based sauce! The Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab is superb! I loved the crispy rice effect that absorbs all of the flavors. I requested spicy Korean chili flakes to elevate the heat and it was spot on! The ambiance was perfect for a date. The service was stellar and our glasses were constantly filled! Always a treat to find a good stone pot bibimbap! Not only does this spot deliver on the bowl but it place offers all the proper fixins to accompany said bowl. There's also some cool traditional floor seating which given the right circumstances could be fun, but I kept it simple. Lunch service was friendly and I was back to my biz with a happy belly before too long. Definitely recommend! read more
Great find on a day I was traveling thru the area. To be honest I didn't have high hopes on finding a decent Asian restaurant in this area but I was definitely pleasantly surprised here. Nice quant vibe here with decent decor. The restaurant is set up long way and I want to stay a little over a dozen tables. Not huge but accommodating for smaller groups. Food was good and tasted very authentic. I had the bulgogi and the tofu as appetizers. Both were very good and came out quickly. The side dishes were good as well. Every Korean place has their own version of sides but they were good here. Kim Chi, radish, spicy cucumbers and a few more. I will definitely be back when I am in the area again. read more

Food: 4 stars. Service: 2 stars. Overall: 3 stars. Banchan was delicious. I then ordered the fried shrimp which was pretty standard. For my entre I ordered the dol sot bi bim bap with beef which was very satisfying but needed salt (none on table, possibly due to COVID?). The service was quite poor. I showed up before the dinner rush at 5:15pm and was the only one seated in the first dining room. I always had to flag someone down for attention (order sake, order food, request the check and carry out box). Every waitress who helped me was someone different; I'm not sure who my actual waitress was. They seemed to be prioritizing take out/UberEats/DoorDash orders over the needs of their dine-in customers. Maybe they were understaffed due to COVID, but that shouldn't be an excuse to neglect customers. Would I go back? Not if I can find equally good Korean food elsewhere. read more

What a gem! Wow! Great food, great lil authentic set up, and the staff was very helpful in deciding since trying Korean food for the first time! I was in a rush so I grabbed the most basic, easiest quickest lunch box they offer.. I also got a side of the Kim chi just to try ( it's cooked cabbage with a spiced red sauce very good!!) the cucumber side were very delicious as well, it had I'm guessing the same red seasoning/sauce, pickled just right for a crisp and tang taste. I will be returning to try explore deeper in the menu hopefully my gal groups pick for our monthly night out! I ate all this soo fast it was just deliciousness!! My most recent visit to Riverside was definitely a 5-star dinner! We ordered a few different dishes and shared everything, and everyone truly enjoyed all of the food. The Gal Bi (beef, so well done and amazing flavor) and Jab Chae (sweet potato noodles, loves the noodles, vegetables and flavor) were my favorites. My mother was a big fan of the seafood pancake, and all of the dishes came out in a timely manner. We were lucky to snag a table for the 6 of us on a Sunday evening around 5:30, because it was already so busy. I suggest calling in to make a reservation. I have only visited one time before and got the bibimbap, which was good and full of meat and veggies. Service was solid and quick. Hope to visit again soon! read more
