The RN team has been amazing. So kind so gentle. RN Nikki really made us feel like we can trust them with good ethical care. My LO had been traumatized by another clinic down the street that held her down and tore her pants!! Which is just ridiculous and unhelpful. I have to commend the staff. They really have been so welcoming. Thank you!! Your kindness and understanding really helped me have faith in the medical system. PS - their office is redone and sooo cute with an aquarium of fishes and clean and bright!

Dr Fosselman told me that 'all girls vaginas smell' when I expressed concern over one of my daughters potentially having a UTI at one appt, so I can assure everyone we won't be seeing him again. To sum it up, most of the providers are fantastic, the front desk staff is horrendously rude in person and they have treated me harshly time and again. I work at a hospital (I am a healthcare worker) so I feel as though I have a right to express my opinion on how awful they are. Dr Bar Lev is the reason I stay!

This year alone, I have been a patient of 12 different specialized "5 star" doctors/facilities and was seeing no improvement. Finally, I stumbled upon Dr. Michael Joseph MD and The Center For Pediatric and Adolescent Pain Care. While this practice is typically reserved for adolescents, Dr. Joseph may also treat young adults who experience chronic pain, or chronic illness that simply "can't be explained." Since day 1, Dr. Joseph's diagnosis has been freakishly accurate, and his treatment plan has involved a forward thinking, detailed, and careful approach. He answers all of my questions, no matter how rogue they may be. He also explains the relevance and microbiological details of ever treatment and test I take. I learn something new from every appointment I have with him- and through a specific blend of western and eastern medicine approaches including bio feedback, over-the-counter supplements, massage therapy, diet changes, and lifestyle changes- I've experienced great improvements in my unusual symptoms. I strongly believe Dr. Joseph is a world-class physician, and his medical center in Dublin feels communal, safe, professional, and friendly. Despite a 'beyond-any-other-human-being' level of intellect, Dr. Michael Joseph is humble and approachable. If you have chronic pain that hasn't been improved by a traditional approach, I implore you to contact him and The Center For Pediatric and Adolescent Pain Care at www.pediatricpaincare.com. (But word to the wise-- trust his approach from the start! He knows what he is doing, and can, and will help you.) 10 star medical practice.

His 'specialists' in the GI departments at both Nationwide Children's and Cincinnati Children's Hospitals did not know how to treat it. The nausea was residual following a 4 year battle with small bowel Crohn's Disease but was in remission following a large resection in 2013. We found Dr. Michael Joseph in May of 2015 and he started treating my son. At the time, my son was sleeping 17-18 hours a day and was severely depressed due to his level 9 nausea that he had 24/7 for going on 9 months. Today, I am thrilled to say that my son has completed treatment and is 100% cured of the chronic nausea! He completed 7th grade on time and is happy, healthy, and growing tall! Thank you Dr. Joseph and everyone at The Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Pain Clinic. You saved my family from a scary and sad place!!

I've been bringing my kids here for at least the last 4 years. My two youngest have been going there since birth. When I first started going there the staff was fantastic, Dr. Palmer was phenomenal (she has since left) and the nursing staff were professional and caring, and the reception staff were efficient and well trained. It's almost like everything has exploded into mass chaos in the last year to year and a half. I don't know if this office has high turn-over or what, but no one seems to know what they're doing. One girl was rather rude. I feel like she was overwhelmed as the phone was ringing, another receptionist was asking her questions, someone was there with their child checking in, and I was standing there needing to make another appointment and get a school excuse. I was patiently waiting, however my infant was screaming. I wasn't annoyed until she got rude. The ONLY reason for the second star is simply because the doctor my kids see is great (Dr. Kuper). I really like her a lot, and Shannen at the front desk is absolutely delightful. In fact, she's the main reason I've hung in there as long as I have with this practice. I've waited for over an hour for my kids to be seen for an appointment that was scheduled weeks in advance. This is a complicated and exhausting situation with an active toddler and a very unhappy infant who wants to be at home. It is what it is with regards to the wait times. I realize they get busy, doctors, medical assistants and nurses get sick and have to call off too. What finally killed it for me was this; First the story was that the Dublin office was consistently "out" of the vaccines for "my insurance", they ordered them but they hadn't come in yet, but the Upper Arlington office had them. So I started taking my kids to that office (yuck, by the way, the office is microscopic and looks like a cheep creepy motel from the outside. But that's a different review for a different office), then THAT office was consistently out of them and sent me on a wild goose chase to the health department for them. Really??? Plain and simple, I have a large family, a 6 month old, a toddler, 3 school aged children and I do all the scheduling and running for EVERYONE. I don't have time to figure out if it's the 3rd Wednesday of the month or the 2nd Tuesday of the month, make 12 different appointments at 9 different places to hunt down the vaccines that my kids should be getting on time at their check ups. I just don't. Unfortunately I'm going to be taking my kids to a different doctors office. I've been waiting for them to get it together for 6 months now... I have to be done.

My mom started seeing him after one of my brothers was experiencing extreme issues that weren't being taken seriously. After the switch, my brother's health improved because Dr. LaMonte actually took the time to listen and address concerns. I can say as a parent, my experiences have been pretty similar. Dr. LaMonte? A saint. 50 stars. He's so kind, the kids love him, he's never made me feel silly for asking questions, he doesn't pressure me into options I'm not comfortable with and instead helps me find alternatives. I live in Worthington but still drive to Hilliard to see him because I like him that much. I sincerely hope he doesn't retire before my youngest turns 18 because I don't know if a replacement doctor could ever live up to the example he's set. The other doctors here though? Not my cup of tea. Most are fine, if impersonal. They'll do in a pinch but I've just come to utilize the urgent care close to me if a kid is sick and Dr. LaMonte isn't available. There's a particular doctor here that I'd sooner take my kids to the ER for an ear infection than to her. But my biggest complaint, and the complaint of everyone I know who also goes there, the desk staff. I don't think I've ever had a pleasant interaction with them if I had to do anything beyond simply check in. Imagine Smaug guarding the Lonely Mountain treasure. Picture McDonald's employees protecting their extra dipping sauces. Monty Python's Black Knight guarding his bridge if you will. This is the vibe I get from the front desk anytime I need a form, or to request an appointment, or to pick up filled out forms, or to ask the doctor a question. Like I don't understand their level of gatekeeping and why the simplest requests turn into some epic tale that'd make George R.R. Martin proud. So the too long;didn't read version is if you can get an appointment with Dr. LaMonte the weird desk staff is worth it even though they're extremely frustrating. But I wouldn't really bother if I had to see another doctor at this practice.
