Awful. Never take children you love here. Worst doctor and staff I've ever seen. Astonishing really.

The RN team has been amazing. So kind so gentle. RN Nikki really made us feel like we can trust them with good ethical care. My LO had been traumatized by another clinic down the street that held her down and tore her pants!! Which is just ridiculous and unhelpful. I have to commend the staff. They really have been so welcoming. Thank you!! Your kindness and understanding really helped me have faith in the medical system. Dr Fosselman told me that 'all girls vaginas smell' when I expressed concern over one of my daughters potentially having a UTI at one appt, so I can assure everyone we won't be seeing him again. To sum it up, most of the providers are fantastic, the front desk staff is horrendously rude in person and they have treated me harshly time and again. I work at a hospital (I am a healthcare worker) so I feel as though I have a right to express my opinion on how awful they are. Dr Bar Lev is the reason I stay!

We are so very lucky in Columbus to have a progressive, integrative, holistic pediatrician like Dr…read more Sant who does not simply medicate symptoms - rather, she looks at the whole child and brings the best of Eastern and Western medical and healing knowledge. She is breastfeeding friendly (something you would think ALL pediatricians would be, but not all are!), informed and relaxed about vaccines/delaying them, and has a wonderful way with her patients and their parents. We have not yet taken advantage of the yoga classes available at Whole Kids but I hope to this fall - love that they offer these! We drive WAY across town (live on the northeast side - drive to the southwest side) for the sole purpose of having Dr. Sant as our pediatrician. We've never once regretted our decision to seek out Dr. Sant for our daughter's care. I do not know what kind of chip the prior reviewer had on her shoulder, but that experience is NOT at all close to what I've experienced with Dr. Sant and her staff over the past three years. Dr. Sant's staff has been great to work with, helpful with forms we've needed filled out for daycare, and quick to help with appointments and such.

Their site and marketing is well-designed and slick along those lines. Then it all just breaks down from there. Dr. Sant, the founder and chief physician of the practice, is a very nice woman with a calm demeanor, but that alone cannot justify the administrative incompetence and failures of this practice as a whole. For 6 weeks we had been trying to retrieve a copy of our child's medical records and immunization schedule from the staff there. Numerous phone calls later, they had the audacity to tell us that they didn't "think" they could send the records directly to us. Um. Do you not know what HIPAA is? Doctors at our new pediatrics practice told us today that the records kept by Wholekids were incomplete, unprofessional and inconsistent. They told us to advise our friends to move their children from that practice, given what they saw in our child's medical record. Other details: -As a general rule, staff/receptionists do not return phone calls or messages. -Email and fax access to people on staff is nonexistent. -Getting a live person on the phone is nearly impossible -No weekend hours, no vacation backup -Some of the nursing staff are very unprofessional (screaming fit because there is a spider on the wall) -"Salesy" kind of atmosphere, trying to get you to buy expensive herbal and dietary supplements. Any benefit gained by being a slightly "less traditional" pediatric practice disappeared as every time my child saw Dr. Sant she ended up with an antibiotic prescription anyway.

Occasionally we had the communication issues others are complaining about, but nothing too drastic. We have recently moved out of state and that's where all the issues start. Our current pediatrician reached out requesting electronic records for our three kids. The office called and let me know that there would be a fee for that. This is the first I've ever heard of a fee for providing a new doctor with records for continuity of care, and the only provider in Columbus that tried this when we moved. I asked what exactly the fee was for and was told "because we can". Now they refuse to provide the records unless I pay the fee. It's exploitive and an obvious attempt to penalize people for leaving the practice. The fee is nominal, but that's not the point. We have paid enough over 7.5 years to not nickel and dimed over moving for work. After an email from the office, about refusing to send records, I checked our account and they actually billed the account despite having not provided the records in question. How that's ethical I do not know!

Note: I called 5 different businesses trying to get an appointment and this was the only doctors office that could fit me in the schedule for today. When you call to make an appointment I don't want to be seen a week from now... Ya know? This place was so nice and awesome on the phone... They totally didn't make me feel like I was just another patient or customer and took their time getting my information. They got my daughter an appointment right away, I can't tell you how relieved I was! There was no wait to be called back or a wait to see the doctor. I have to express again how amazingly nice all the staff was. I wasn't pressured to finish my paperwork asap like at some other offices... And I wasn't asked the same questions twice! Doctor Jackie walked in and started playing with my daughter: I have never had a pediatrician that interacted with her and it was amazing to see that this doctor actually enjoyed her job and wasn't just going through the motions of seeing a patient. This place is great and after finding a horrible doctor on Saturday who didn't even fully access my daughter's issues I can happily say that I found my daughter's pediatrician!
