We have gotten prescriptions ordered the same night (invaluable when dealing with a fussy baby) with in-office follow-ups the next morning. She asks US when we are available to come in, and it seems as though she cares for our infant as much as she would care for her own children. While it was a little further away, I was just glad I could get in relatively fast. I only had to schedule about a week or so out. The directions were simple and it was easy to find, right off 270. I arrived fifteen minutes prior to my appointment, which is the time repeated over and over again on voicemails and emails, and was checked in right away. They gave me a surgical mask, took my temperature, verified all my insurance and information, and took my co-pay. I filled out a form and waited for roughly five minutes before a nurse took me to a room and covered my medications, allergies, etc. My appointment started right on time and took about an hour (typical for these types of appointments). The place was sparkling clean, the entire staff was friendly and while everyone had masks on, I could tell they were smiling and empathetic to the situation we've all been in the past several months. My 12 year old son suffered from chronic, severe, life debilitating nausea and had missed most of…read more6th grade. His 'specialists' in the GI departments at both Nationwide Children's and Cincinnati Children's Hospitals did not know how to treat it. The nausea was residual following a 4 year battle with small bowel Crohn's Disease but was in remission following a large resection in 2013. We found Dr. Michael Joseph in May of 2015 and he started treating my son. At the time, my son was sleeping 17-18 hours a day and was severely depressed due to his level 9 nausea that he had 24/7 for going on 9 months.
