    Crystal's nails
    Juri L.

Unfortunately my past couple interactions have been less than stellar. I was going to give this place one more try before making a final decision but since figuring out that the manager, Emily, LIED to cover their a$$, I'm done. The last visit my 2 yorkie puppies had was June 1st, and I booked both of them for pawdicures (ear cleaning and nail trim) with their daycare visit. When I went to pick them up the girl at the desk stated that she needed to confirm if Crystal (4 month old puppy)received a pawdicure. I stated "she was supposed to" and her response was "oh, then she did" without even checking with anyone. When I went to pay the bill, I saw they did not charge me for a 2nd pawdicure so I wasn't going to make a big deal about it and figured we would be back soon enough for Crystal to get it done during the next visit. I called a couple weeks prior to that visit to get a quote for boarding my dogs for 3 days, 2 nights to take a trip but never confirmed a booking and found another option. The day before my trip (June 5) I get a voicemail about my dogs stay and lodging and I went into to full panic mode wondering why I was getting a call about a booking I never made. I called and asked to speak with a manager. At first the girl who answered the phone told me all the managers were busy and couldn't transfer me and then when I stated I was going to update my review and she was quick to transfer me to a manager. I spoke with the manager, Emily, about the booking and the the issue with the pawdicure during the last visit. She stated that because they were not sure and couldn't reach me on the phone they did it anyways, just in case, and didn't charge me for it. I decided to trust the business and let it all go and give them a final try for next month. Tonight, June 13 Crystal kept scratching me while laying on top of me so I decided to inspect her nails. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TRIMMED! The only one that looked trimmed was the one I cut after her last visit because I thought they just missed one nail. I inspected Gem (my other dog) just in case and you can tell she definitely received a trimming. They are very friendly and super nice but that doesn't make up for lying to customers/clients and not running your business efficiently

Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.

What I have also come to realize is that Shari is a great resource after experiencing a trauma to support recovery. I had recently slipped on the steps at home and hit my back pretty soundly. Though I iced it and did other things to mitigate pain, the next day it was still quite uncomfortable. I gave Shari a call and was able to see her that afternoon. After her treatment my back felt so much calmer. And over the next few days I only experienced mild tenderness as my back continued to heal. I was amazed at how quickly I was back to feeling myself again. Thank you, Shari, for your healing touch!

Other than never being able to figure out whether I was due for a free dog wash after my six visits, I always had good experiences with this location, that all changed today. Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here...

If you're looking for a more supervised daycare environment, structured play, hands-on one-on-one,…read moreor group training, I would highly recommend them. It's very clear how much the staff knows, and how deeply they care about every single dog that walks through their doors. Over the past few months, this is the fourth daycare we've tried for our dog. The first one we chose to leave. The next two either wouldn't accept her or ultimately asked her not to return. Our dog is an over 80-lb American Bully, and she truly doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. We started daycare and boarding when she was about 8 months old. At nearly 50 lbs already, she was placed with the large dogs. In this large group play, the challenge wasn't aggression; it was that she was young, playful, and didn't always understand when another dog didn't want to engage. Two facilities told us they couldn't keep her in group play because other dogs would become reactive when she missed social cues and it wasn't safe for them or the dogs. After the second rejection, we reached out to friends and were highly encouraged to try Pet-U-Cation. We were told upfront that the training and care are exceptional, but as a small business with limited overhead and office staff, communication can sometimes require patience (which has also been our experience). Her evaluation went great. After two day-training sessions, she became a regular at daycare, and she absolutely loves it! The growth we've seen in her socialization and ability to read other dogs has been incredible. It's also reinforced the training we're doing at home and helping her overall learning and development (consistency really is key). We love that there is no more coming home from daycare with newly acquired bad habits.
