    Excellent customer service. George Assisted with my sisters bike Trek FX1. George made sure the front derailleur is working perfectly (due to issues with the shifter). He even disassembled the shifter in front of me and described the issue.. I highly recommend Riverbend Bikes to everyone. I will be going back to have my rear cassette upgraded on my Specialized Allez... 2nd Review. Another 5 starts. 08/06/25 stopped during lunch time and brought Specialized Allez for a rear casette upgrade (rear derailleur adjusted along with the indexing) Completed quickly and I was out within half an hour. 3rd Review: 08/20/25 During noon, I dropped off my son's Specialized Sirrus for a drop bar & 2x7 brifter upgrade (brake shifters) & bar wraps. George had all completed before the end of thr day. Excellent customer service as usual.... 4th Review: 09/04/25 My sisters bike (trek FX1) got the same upgrades with drop bars, micronew brifters 3x7 & pink bar tape. Brought her bike over at 4:50 pm. By 5:45 pm George already has the bike completed and ready. Picked it up today 09/05/25 perfect work as usual. 5th Review: 09/27/25 I had referred a friend to take his Schwinn road bike for shifter upgrade. George was able to assist him right away. My friend was very satisfied with the work on his bike. And was glad it was completed quickly. George even hooked him up with a replacement drop bar since his original wasn't compatible with the micronew shifters.

    Was looking for Mafia bikes. Riverbend is the only place in Bako thats got em that i know. The owner knows a lot about bike life and showed me all the bells and whistles on the Mafia OW Bomma. The smooth as silk hydraulic brake and ability to select gear ratios with a flick of a switch up'd my wheelie game exponentially. Cut me a great black Friday deal too. Support ur local bike shops!

    We were on our way to Sequoia and called George to see if he can replace a tube. Got to the place an hour later and he was able to get us out of there within 10 minutes. Good customer service and very good pricing.

    The feels was helpful on the phone so we popped over and he said he'd take a look at my son's electric scooter. That is exceptionally kind.

    Awesome customer service and fixes my kids bike at the moment doesn't days to have it ready but rather like 30 min or less while I'm waiting

The order I received was fast and very well packaged and they even threw in few stickers and a cool magazine that was very much appreciated. they are on the west coast and i am on the east coast but they are my go to shop for all my new skating needs. They are constantly adding cool stuff, specially to their social media. I highly recommend and encourage you to check them out, was able to get some new wheels and axles, even bearing spacers and even the tools to work on my gear. Go check them out!!!!

    I'm not here to complain about the prices like everyone else but about an employee specifically and…read morethe way SHE handled the situation. I went in today November 25 at about maybe 4:30pm and I went to exchange some Ugg boots for the same thing and same size bc when I bought mine I gave them to my friend as a gift and she opened the box and sent me a video of her showing me that one of the shoes had a stain on it (which is why the photos I attached are a lil blurry bc it was a video she sent me And I downloaded it) so I came to exchange the shoes for the exact same thing. The girl that helped me had wavy ish kind of long black hair, tan skin and spoke Spanish. When I went I told her the same thing that when I bought the boots they had a stain so I wanted to exchange them and she looks at the boots for maybe 10 seconds, there's even cameras in the store if an employee is reading this plz go back and look at the footage she just takes a Quick Look at the boots and to my face goes "are you sure, it looks like YOU stained them" so she really stood behind the register and started accusing me of staining them when if she would have taken a better look at the shoes the first time she would have seen that the bottom part was never worn and it was all still clean. She only started looking really good at them and at the bottom of the shoe when I went into deeper detail about what happened and how I gave it to my friend. Then she proceeded to call her boss or manager or some lady and they talked on FaceTime in Spanish and the lady on FaceTime said I was able to exchange them. (Huge shout out to the lady on the phone for letting me exchange them because it seemed like the girl at the register really just didn't want me to get an exchange and I know that if it were up to the regular employee she probably wouldn't have let me, so I pray she's not any kind of manager bc this is the way she treats ppl) I understand there a no return policy and this store probably gets a lot of people trying to scam them but there are people out there that actually aren't trying to pull any kind of scam and genuinely got a bad pair of shoes and for her to stand behind a register and blame ME for getting the dirty is beyond me. I don't feel comfortable shopping here anymore because what anytime I need to do an exchange they are going to point the finger to me and say I did it ? I would even let it pass if she took a good look at the boots and felt around but she didn't she just looked at it for like 10 seconds and blamed me. I work retail too and I get a lot of ppl trying to get free things and if I suspect that, I go about it a completely different way the staff at this store needs to be trained on how to better adress this kind of situations. Also I know they have to examine the shoe to make sure everything Looks good before handing it to the customer to be bought and when I bought the shoe, I remember them just slightly opening the box and glancing at the top and then just handing it to me. They should take the shoe out maybe or keep it in the box, but just move it around so you can see the whole shoe so something like this doesn't happen to someone else. Once again it's a situation of just quickly looking at the shoe and not paying close attention. The customer service was good I was attended fast and a lot of ppl are complaining about the prices on google reviews but if you don't like the price, just dont shop here Simple as that so I really did like this place and I would have came here more often but after this interaction I would never feel comfortable coming back

    I brought my bicycle here when the derailer fell off and the brakes stopped working right. When I…read moredropped it off on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 they said it would be ready on Tuesday. I told them at the service department that the bike would not shift gears going up, that the shifter only worked right when downshifting. Imagine my surprise when they text me less than three hours later saying my bike is ready. It seemed OK, they asked me to ride it in the parking lot. It was 5:50, and they closed in ten minutes. The bike shifted OK for a couple of cycles up and down. As much as I was happy to get the bicycle back the same day, I was not happy after riding it several time and from gears five thru eight still trouble upshifting. I truly wish they had kept the bike until Tuesday, maybe the bike would shift properly. I did not need to get my bicycle back fast as much as I needed to get my bicycle back FIXED.

He is an average size, not heavy great nephew was on the bike and put the kickstand down. Went to get off and the kickstand snapped right at the housing. I put it in the bag with the bag it came in. Receipt and all the parts Matthew and Dylan were like... "this has never happened before... blah blah blah". Also, I was like, "Are you trying to blame your shoddy merchandise on an eleven yr old child?" They both looked at each and sorta slightly nodded. At that point, I asked for a manager. Dylan pops off with, "I am the manager" and puts out her hand. I shook it reluctantly. And there she was without any name tags stating she was a manager. She didn't act like a manager to me, at all. I then said, "Well, it is $14 and since you have nothing but another like it...my refund is due since when I bought it two days ago, I have that I need. Receipt, item with all the tags, etc. So you need to refund me $14." She then asked for the actual card to give me my full refund, I happen to have it with me. Thank goodness. I will NOT BE BACK. And if you shop there--I STRONGLY suggest to see the manufacturer date and see if something really old is being sold as new. Lots can happen to merchandise randomly stored and dropping would be an average happening. Also, how high on a shelf has it been stored OVER 8 years. Not cool. Nor great customer service. They lost a customer for always. Thanks, but no thanks.
