So I was in a bit of a bind coming off a super busy weekend and I needed to get a wash in before the work week. I decided to take my chances with this place and I'm glad I did. I'll keep it brief. I got into the establishment with a little under an hour until closing. I really hate to be that guy, but I really needed to wash. The owner was super understanding and he allowed me to stay an extra half hour after closing to ensure that my clothes were dry. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.. when I went, there was only one other person washing. There were some machines out of services and it had a paper saying such... I went to use the bigger machines, which are $10 a wash, and one of them ate my money. I got to $9 before quarters got jammed in there and the machines don't have a push button to eject any quarters. I had to move my stuff to a different machine but by then I was about $9 and there was no one there or a number I could call to complain.. Never again.. read more

Had an emergency with my dryer and came came here beacuse it was empty and I can see why. I had 8 thin throws or baby blankets and took over 30 minutes to dry what normally takes 15 to 20 minutes since they are so thin. 5 dryers and wasted quarters later my stuff is still damp. On a positive note the rude employee from my previous post was not here. Still 2 to 3 stars stars at best. read more

It's a decent place. Better than the bubbles laundry mat here in Riverbank. Looks like owner has abandoned Bubbles laundry mat. But this place is cool. Owner is nice and always there. Just sometimes the prices are going up and it can get pricey but it's all we have here in Riverbank. So it'll do. Go on weekdays like Tue- Thur it's better without lots of people. With only 2 laundromats in the Small town of riverbank I found that this particular one is by far the better choice. Prices vary on the size of machine. $6 for the extra large washing machine *bonus of COLD WATER option $4 for the large machine $3 for the average size machine. 25 cents for 8 minutes on the industrial dryers. Clean bathrooms, floors and most importantly the machines. Family owned business in this small town and the older gentlemen who owns the place is here from opening till closing. A sweet man who is friendly and helpful and even when you are alone makes you feel safe while washing or drying at night. read more

Wow! What a change, the prices for the machines are insane $8! Total rip off. The dryers take for ever so that's another several dollars just to get them dry. It used to be so much better and cleaner. I liked it cause of those reasons and the machines were cheaper. $20 used to do 4 loads (wash and dry) I am now at $40 and still waiting on the dryer won't be back. read more

Clean, lots of machines and they all seem to work. Had to wait almost 15 minutes after the posted open time before anyone showed to unlock the doors. Prices not clearly marked on every washing machine. Only two standard machines and one of them would not take my money. The dryers (red ones) do not tell you the time you have when putting your quarters in. I got 32mins for $1. All in all not too bad at $3 for a normal load washed and dryed. Folding tables are too high to comfortably sit at while folding which can be bothersome for someone like myself that has difficulty standing in one place for any length of time. read more

Riverbank Laundromat has proved to be one of the best options in the area. The owner is always here when I arrive, no matter the day or time, which varies each week. He is very helpful, friendly, and makes sure everything is clean. Prices vary from $4.50 for a small washing machine to $6.50 for a larger one. Drying is 9 minutes per quarter. I've never had any issues. I'd highly recommend doing your laundry here! read more

Will no longer use Oakdale after coming here. Lots of big newer washers that range from $6 to $4. Liked that there is an employee to help with change, instructions, and even saw him help a customer with the loading. It's a little further out coming from Oakdale but worth the drive. read more

This establish ticks me off everytime I come here. And I moved from the Bay area, I was shocked to see I have to pay more for laundry here than living in the Bay using machines from the 50's- kinda odd. I swear the price of the machines increase weekly, and there is a large load machine located in the front (3rd machine from left) is $6.25, not 5.25. Incredible to think I could spend $30-40 on 3 loads of laundry... Inflation? I'm only adding the extra star because the old man owner is really sweet to my mom's and pop's when they do laundry with him. But seriously old man, cool it with the price increases. read more

I came in to do laundry and 1)Three washers weren't working and it still took my money 2) I called to get help with this issue and no one answered or helped 3) it's over priced. Save your money for somewhere with bigger washers at a better price. read more

This place is AMAZING I've never been to a laundromat before so the man working helped me out a bunch showed me how to use the machines went as far as pouring all the soap and softener in for me even gave me tips on the machines they have great customer service I highly recommend this place! Yeah, the man who works there was rude and wears earphones so when you call because of a problem he can't hear you. Stares at people and talks rude when he answers a question. Theres a coke machine and if you need to use the restroom theres no tissue paper and no faucet knobs on the faucets so you can't wash your hands. read more

Washers are great but bring your own change. The machine shorts you sometimes and the owner won't do anything about it. He just says, "it doesn't short." Even though I counted out the money in front of him. He says "maybe it's lost on the floor but the machine doesn't short." There's no getting anywhere with him. It happened to me once before but it was just a quarter short. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and came back today and used the machine again. Now it shorted me $2 in quarters. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, well ... shame on me. read more

Terrible...and creepy...guy who runs it follows you around the while time watching you load bad I load your clothes...as a single woman, it's creepy...constantly telling you what washers and dryers to use...repeating himself...its creepy. Allow people to do their laundry...i felt so bombarded and scared I could wait to leave. read more

Very nice, friendly owner. I'm pretty sure he's there from open to close, which makes you feel safe. Newer, well maintained machines and the owner always keeps the laundry mat clean. If my dryer ever breaks again this would definitely be a place id return to. read more

Terrible place. The owner accused me of lying about putting in the correct amount of quarters when his machine wouldn't start, told me I need to put in more. Machine still didn't work after I put more money in. He was still insisting it was my fault. After he got some tools and fixed the machine, he simply walked away as if nothing happened and refused to give me back the extra money I put in. read more

My family has been using this laundromat for as long as we have been in Riverbank....18 years. It is family owned. The father is usually there during the day and the son closes in the evening. There is always someone there cleaning and maintaining the machines. We are a family of 9 so we never have less than 10 loads. We are in and out in no time. I have never been shorted when I use the change machine, and I have never been followed by a "creepy" guy. The owners always make suggestions on what machines to use to save me the most money. Nowadays, my kids usually go without me. The owners know my family on sight and always take good care of them. Did I mention that it's the cleanest laundromat in a 40 mile radius. read more
