I was referred by a good friend of mine to get my windows tinted since the guy that usually does mine was not available. I was there for four hours. He was looking very busy. Had a lot of cars to do which brought to my attention. Wow this guy does a really good job After leaving home and waiting for four hours. I was very confident that everything was right three days later, I noticed that my window on the right passenger side was not well. I texted him which he said bring it to me. I will take care of you early in the morning i've yet to bring my car over and have him take care of the issue. So I finally made some time to take my vehicle early in the morning like he suggested he saw the damages. He said OK I'll take care of it. Come back at 2 PM which I did and he was not there. I text him didn't hear from him till an hour and a half to two hours later Telling him he was on lunch. I don't understand why he tells me to be back at 2 PM if he's gonna go to lunch at that time, it is what it is I learned from my experience. read more

Worst customer service experience. For nearly $400 you'd expect there to be someone there for your appointment. Appointment scheduled for 12, show up, no one is there, you are told to leave your key in a mail box?? Owner says it will be done by 3 pm. 2:30 pm rolls around and no information on pricing, tint, options, nothing! So he rushes to get it done by 5:30 with no receipt and guy says there's life time warranty with no paper trail? Follow up appointment is scheduled for a different service and same experience after giving them the benefit of the doubt. 9 am appointment, show up, no one is there. Call, text, no response, after 30 minutes of waiting at some random house in Indio I decided to leave. Save your money and go with one of the big guys!! read more

The people made me a appointment for Friday at 1:30Pm when I got there, there's people there and they told me to call the phone number that the guy that made me the appointment sitting there for at least 10 minutes . Had to call three times. To have them tell me that they didn't have my phone number and the guy that does the window tent left, and I was sitting there in the heat. Telling me that they can make an appointment for tomorrow. Waste of time and the guys that were there couldn't even tell me the window tint guy left. Don't be fooled about the guy just working out of his house he does a really good job. Tiny bubbles and dimples are acceptable along as it doesn't cover more then 1% or your window but there were none! He does a very good job. I highly recommend this guy. read more

Unprofessional service to say the least. I am all about supporting local businesses, 'mom and pop' shops but if this is the way that they do business, I would not recommend them at all. The owner is a young man taking over the family business. They left my car dirty with the old tint clippings and left some stains on the back of the car. I had specifically asked for the window tint strip on the front windshield atleast twice and when I came to pick up my car , what I had specifically asked for was not done! So I asked them to finish the job and they told me or would be a 2 hour wait or to come back Monday. I didn't feel that was right to have me wait or even come back, its not my fault they forgot and made a mistake and I had to come back when they *Should have* fixed it right away due to their error! The owner said he didn't charge me for the strip but over the phone he told me other wise. They do not have a good business practice model at all & if this is the way they do business I would never recommend Rivera's window tint to anyone I know. read more
