Found to be a careless installer and generally dismissive. Returned vehicle after install with moldings detached. Didn't bother to calibrate backup camera -- red 18 inch marker line was at 4ft., yellow 3ft. marker line was at 8ft. and green 6ft. marker was at infinity and beyond. Had my stereo replaced in my Subaru. Upgraded to a touch screen. They said they could keep the original usb outlet and backup camera and speaker for Bluetooth speaking. When picking up the car he said he couldn't connect usb so he had a usb plug sticking out the center console. He had to install an aftermarket Bluetooth speaker because he also couldn't connect the existing one. The backup camera never lined up the same. I wish I would have gone to the dealership to get a replacement. I also wouldn't be upset about this if we were told up front that they wouldn't be able to install it with existing outlets and such but he assured us he would be able to. read more

I give three stars for receiving great customer service. The only thing I'm flabbergasted about is that they charged me almost $900 for remote start on my car and it wouldn't even have the same key fob and it would turn off as soon as I unlocked the car. I called my dealership and they gave me a total of $336 including tax. They gave me a brand new key fob from the manufacturer with remote start installed it also doesn't turn off when I unlock it. I really think this place is a rip off and they have some outdated equipment. read more

I walked into Pacific Sound on Desert Palm Dr on 6/18/2019 in the latter part of the afternoon. I had brought my 1974 VW Thing which I had allowed my mechanic to do the installation of my brand new audio system (that was my mistake). The system sounded horrible. George greeted me on that Tuesday and we both took a look at what I had going on with the system. He knew he and his team would have to basically de-install/RE-install all of it and hope that he could get it to work properly. I left the car with him and they got to work on it before I even left the building. Wednesday, I received a call from George mid-morning letting me know the work was done (much faster than I thought possible)! I picked it up yesterday and can't even begin to describe how great of a job the Pacific Sound team did on the audio - it sounds amazing! update 1 year later, my passenger door no longer locks or unlocks now i have to reach over and manually lock or unlock the passenger door. also they broke my piller when they hid the wires to the valet switch by the rear view mirror so the piller is in my truck because it no longer clips into place because they broke the clips. i pulled out the alarm so now i have no alarm. read more

I usually don't take time to write reviews, but I had such a negative experience with Jorge at Pacific Sound I wanted potential customers to be aware before doing business here. I purchased a Viper Alarm system for $689 and paid $200 for the install in July 2021. Two months later in September 2021 a car accidentally backed up into my car, and I noticed my alarm would start to go off intermittently. This would happen when I was in the car when the alarm was disarmed and it would also happen when I was not in the car when the alarm was armed. I called Jorge to ask if he could take a look at the sensors of the alarm since it was not working properly. He quickly got me in for an appointment and confirmed there was nothing wrong. When I left his shop I noticed that my dash cams were no longer receiving power, nor was my USB cell phone charger. I had my dash cams installed by another vendor and quickly called Jorge to let him know of the new problem he caused. The wiring that powers my dash cams and USB cell phone charger was located next to the wiring of the car alarm and I let Jorge know it might have accidentally been unplugged when they were checking the alarm. When I brought my car back, Jorge unplugged and replugged the wiring to my dash cam, which powered it back on for 30 seconds before it failed. I brought my car back a third time in the same day and he unplugged and replugged the power once again. It worked temporarily and once I started driving it once again failed. I was frustrated because I brought my car to have the alarm checked that he installed, and now he caused the problem of my dash cams and USB charger to no longer work. When I asked him to make this right, he pointed the finger at the other vendor who installed my dash cam and said they used cheap wiring. Jorge said he would charge me $100 to repair the wiring for the dash cam. At this point I became frustrated because I brought my car in for one problem, the alarm, and while that was being checked, Jorge caused a problem with my dash cam that I did not have before and wanted to charge me to replace the wiring. I was disappointed with the unprofessional service he provided and asked for a refund on the alarm I purchased from him for $889 total, $689 for alarm & $200 for install. He said he doesn't give refunds but offered to buy the alarm from me for $300, what a robbery. I agreed to this nasty deal so I could be done with this subpar businessman Jorge and use the $300 to go back to the vendor who installed my dash cams and have it done correctly. Future Pacific Sound customers beware, and be cautious of coming here for your car audio needs. You might come in to have something looked at or installed and leave with a new problem you didn't have before you came in. Jorge should be ashamed of himself for causing problems that were nonexistent before I came to him and wanting to charge me to repair the problems he caused with my dash cams.
