Rafael Landscaping returned my call in less than 15 mins and after explaining the situation Rafael the owner drove over by himself to inspect the problem. He had a job being worked by 5 of his crew in the area but starting working to dig out the broken pipe, went to get the necessary parts and fix the problem himself! The job took about 3 hrs after exposing the broken pipe, driving to get parts and performing the repair. Then Rafael informed the price, which was far less than I expected! He arrived earlier, and patiently waited there until I got to the location 20 min later. Then he maneuvered through the slippery hillside slope to drop off the pavers at the best spot, near our planned walkway. They could drop off at the driveway as an easy option, but then we would spent way more efforts moving the pavers around to the hillside. The delivery person really made our project much much easier.

I had Best Pavers came out and laid pavers in my backyard back in September of last year. The Job…read morewas relatively small about 1,400 sq ft. They subcontracted the demo work. The demo team cleanly broke up the existing patio without issue. The following day they had the backyard graded (they did accidentally break a drain line but repaired the line efficiently) placed geotextile, and base. The paver contractor committed to come out over the weekend because we needed to also have an AC installed over the pavers ASAP as we were cooking in our house. The pavers were laid cleanly and quickly and the paving foreman actually told me that my planter I had planned would look better a little bigger than I originally planned and beings I had the extra pavers to complete it I said sure lets do it. He didn't charge me any extra for the change (added an extra foot to the length) and I'm glad I took his suggestion because it would have been too small and it looks great now. I did want to wait for a review, however. I think many people review pavers right after they are laid down and sure they look great then but then later the rain comes and they don't drain right causing puddling because the grade is off, or they sink in because they didn't properly compact the dirt or the base material sufficiently, weeds grow through the cracks because the geotextile wasn't placed right, or the bond beams fail and the edge pavers break away. I am happy to say that we have had a substantial amount of rain this season, and the pavers have not moved at all. The yard, finally drains properly (before we had puddling everywhere. I have not even seen a single sprout come up between the pavers. I am very, very happy with the quick, efficient, and detailed work Best Pavers did. And the best thing about it is the price was very reasonable. TLDR: Fast, efficient, high quality work for a great value. Best Pavers is a true gem.

We were concerned at the start, just because it was a big project. But from the first meeting we found Felipe and his father Miguel extremely easy to work with, kind, thoughtful, quick to grasp all aspects of the project, and very hard-working. In no time, we had a schedule and a budget for the project that we thought was very fairly priced. Because this was a commercial project, we ran into frequent problems with City Hall, but despite this, Felipe kept the project on track with amazing patience, good humor, and creativeness. He was always available, always there, and always helpful. (Having dealt with other contractors, we were astounded.) His integrity is also exceptional. When a run of very hot weather came just as a concrete countertop was starting to cure, a hairline crack appeared in one countertop. I hadn't even noticed the crack. But Felipe pointed it out to me and insisted on replacing the entire countertop at his own expense so that it was absolutely perfect. That kind of honesty and integrity is priceless. In the end, we have a completed project we are absolutely thrilled with and proud of. He kept it as close to on time and on budget as humanly possible (given the difficulties with the City approval process) and we could not be happier. We will be using him again for work on our own house and would recommend him enthusiastically to family and friends.
