This gas station gave small Buc ees vibes. I went in to use the restroom and came out twenty minutes later with snacks, random things, and a drink I could not pronounce. An absolute MUST STOP along I-35 and now my second visit to West, Texas (not West Texas, which is…read morecompletely different). I've been to the other one and now I am here. And while the other one is great and fabulous, this one is one star better. A huge selection of baked goods, coffee, decor, clothing, drinks and more. The Kissing Pig Cafe has so many food options, too! Mrs. K. has not had a kolache in years and she's now pescatarian which presents certain challenges. It would be awesome if they had some kolaches with just cheese or were sweet, so while I had one with ham and cheese and one with sausage in cheese, she was at least able to enjoy a strawberry and cream danish as well as the always awesome poppyseed kolache. It's possible that a pecan square was purchased for later consumption, too. The self-serve coffee was great and we enjoyed all of this inside at a comfortable table. And after that, more shopping. So much great stuff to choose from here and very, very clean restrooms. If you're overwhelmed by that massive baked goods counter, just ask for recommendations. They'll get you sorted for sure! This Allsup's has a snack side and a home goods side. They also have an assorted car supplies wall. They have every Tajin and hot sauce for those that could want or need that. Milk and bread and even Allsup's tortillas. The store has a Quik Trip vibe in being large and well set up! My dad commented that they have nice even floors which is important if you are using a walker. The hot food display was fully stocked for the lunch rush and if I didn't have a date with Granny Clark I would definitely partake! They had hats and gloves and an area of toys which is nice! The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would return. May make this a regular stop! The tiny tacos and classic taco sauce would make it worth the stop! Cheese curds aren't a bad choice either. I love the Allsup's bean and beef burritos best!

The long-time staff are super nice. They have a decent rewards points system Bathroom is ok, better than a 7/11. Less crackheads here than other local gas stations, more of a blue-collar working crowd. Cons: The squeegee washer fluid smells rotten, if it's there at all. Fountain machine breaks a lot Alissa, a young cashier, has all the charm of a miserably angsty teenager. You will be sneered at and eye-rolled for daring to inconvenience her with your morning cup of coffee. If you've never had teenage children who hate you - here's your chance to experience it. (Someone please get this girl a job at the IRS or DMV. She will thrive.) Comical: A utility truck recently drove through the side of the building into the beer cooler, and we made Fox News! Come check out our local landmark - the hole in the side of CEFCO.

This is a full on grocery store. Inside they have a restaurant which is really like three restaurants combined. They have a wine and beer center they have a butcher shop. They also have all the sections of a grocery store that you might see such as produce dry goods, etc.. The staff was very nice and friendly, too. I even had one or two of them asked me if I wanted any assistance with anything and when even asked if I wanted him to take any of the pictures so that I could be in them. Most of the staff seem to be on the younger side probably students in the nearby town. I bought some corn nuts and a root beer and filled up with gasoline And then I was on my way. It was an unexpected yet pleasant stop.
