Used the amenities, filled up with gas at a great price and moved on. Let me say that Buc ee's is the Greatest! Truly a 5X5 Star Company! Here comes the "BUT"! Checked on their coffee and it's still made on their Massive Coffee Makers! Coffee gets old quickly that's why McDonalds has a time limit on how long their coffee may available for sale. That's why their Coffee is good and Fresh! Buc ee's Not So much! At Buc ee's, I would have to look for a Coffee Maker that just finished brewing a Couple of Gallons of coffee. Then pour it quickly before anyone else beats me to it. They do have Espresso single serve Coffee Makers. Didn't try one! But as a person who has traveled to Europe and other places in this world, I would say the Italians have my attention on their Espresso! Tried several as we traveled from the north of Italy down to the Almafi Coast. Wow and Wow. I will try Buc ee's Espresso on this trip. But NOT their regular coffee. Take a lesson from QT and Valero! Freshly ground Coffee served one Small to Extra Large Cup at a time. So I'll get my Coffee at QT/Valero and Eats & Gas at Buc ee's! My qualifications as an Expert and Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have over 65 years of Supervision and Management Experience. I went from picking Cotten, Fruits and Vegetables in many parts of the country, as a Migrant Worker to earning a College Degree with a BS in Business Management. Plus Serving my Country in the Air Force for over 22 years. As a Civilian I have been trained in two Culinary Schools, to include on the job training at other venues. I've successfully managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have had my own successful Catering business. I have traveled to many places in this world and tasted the many culinary delicacies this world has to offer! As a Culinary Trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine, sales and customer service. At the age of 79, I am now retired and enjoy being on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE APRON.

The high octane gas is $0.10 higher than the location across the street. Inside is very outdated and crowded with narrow aisles and barely any room for lines at the counter. Always has a very dirt dusty feel to it. The store itself is also small. Not near the selection as other Love's stores. They didn't have Frito's which I was looking for. There is a Subway and a Chesters Chicken attached. Staff is plenty helpful, always talkative.

Was immediately put in a bay. 3 loves employees present, never saw a service truck move. I did see a man with his feet up, someone outside wandering around and soneone messing atound at the service desk. After an hour i asked the guy at the desk how long he'd been on hold with crst(often happens), he replied he was about to start on my trailer. I gave him another 15mins, told him i was leaving and got my key. Went to the loves in Italy-was in and out in an hour. If we weren't required to fuel at Hillsboro Loves i would never stop there again.

My travel routine to either College Station, Austin, or Killeen consists of stopping at the first…read moregas station that I see. In this case, it is Exxon on I-35 southbound. Convenient, clean, & quirky is pretty much how I'll sum this location up. While this location is convenient for travelers to access the station quickly from the road, the bathrooms are about as clean as any Buc-ees you'll encounter. The men's bathroom is Texas huge, with pictures of Clint Eastwood & other cowboy legends adorn the walls, staring at you as if they are daring you to make a mess of things. The Exxon is a bit quirky, since it offers pie upon fried pie here. Of course, it helps that there is a bakery attached to the store as well. But that's what every traveler wants, right? To eat a fried pie or two and fart up your car like you are in a Cheech & Chong movie as you proceed down I-35. The employees here mean well, yet sort of act a little "off" sometimes. I go to the counter to purchase a burger, and the employee (after seeing me) walks in the backroom, never to be seen again. No burger for me on this day, yet there are tons of pies that can be eaten as an alternative. Another employee asks for me to pay him $60 in gas (despite my non-diesel 15 gallon tank) when I clearly said $16 to fill the tank. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Certainly some characters are at this Exxon station. Nonetheless, this Exxon is okay.

As I pour my coffee, the nice lady asks if I would like her to make a fresh pot for me...WOW... I feel really-truly appreciated. He went outside with me to see the machine and said it didn't work, "It's not even on. It doesn't work." he said. There was no sign or anything covering the coin slot. I wanted my money back. So, he went into an office and a different man came out. He said the machine was broken. I said I wanted my money back. He said the machine wasn't theirs. He refused to reimburse me a lousy 75 cents. I told him "I can handle losing 75 cents, but was it really worth was worth the bad review I will post?" Then I walked out, into the rain, and drove to the next gas station. Plus, I got gas and drinks there!

Towels weren't the kind that u smell and can tell it was used for cleaning at some point in its lifespan. The water is good water too The iron skillet is big with a dining room theb a buffet area! The buffet had the usual we see at all iron skillets except it was cooked perfect! They didn't brine the crap out of the chicken and the potatoes tasted like potatoes!! The salad bar was fresh and very clean. The staff was really nice and anticipated everything you might need or want. The pinto beans were the best I've had in a long time!!! Def gonna come back! the cook, wait staff, shower attendant and lot staff really make this place amazing!!!!!!! Clean bathrooms!!!! 1.5 star food 1 star cleanliness 1.5 staff effort and kindness

Great place to stop for all your road trip needs. There are showers, massage chairs, clean…read morebathrooms, food, gas, and convenience items. Most importantly, there are friendly faces! It's not overwhelmingly huge like some other stopping locations. My stop here was an easy, pleasant experience.
