She's incredible! The office runs smoothly, barely any wait time for my appointment, I was routed to Jenna quickly after arriving. Very modernized, each station seems to have its own X-ray machine readily accessible, and the panoramic machine for the 3-year scan was quick and easy to use as well. No clunky inserts needed for either scan, I was very impressed by the equipment. The overhead TV was nice too, it made my 90-minute cleaning pass quickly. I also appreciate that the hygienist had insurance detailed information readily accessible, so she was able to inform me about coverages and extra costs right there, without having to check in with the front desk. Alpenglow has its practices nailed down to a science! I also learned today that they offer free introductory visits for kids, with a focus on making it a fun visit and shake off any fear.

Alpenglow's is $100 to start then $35 a month which gets you 2 cleanings and x-rays each year and 15% off anything else. My x-rays were quite the adventure. I gagged one time which is normal for me. But the very nice and well-meaning hygienist wanted to help. She asked for a shaker of salt. Someone else in the office said she had one. She then comes over with a test tube of "salt" to put on my tongue to distract me so I wouldn't gag. I was highly suspicious... so I tasted some. It was citric acid. SO acidic it burned. They told me they were going to put a stripe of it on my tongue! So glad I stopped them! Just putting the story here so you can also stop them because wow that would have been awful if I'd just trusted them and had a mouthful of citric acid I expected to be a quick shake of salt. Besides that, I saw Jennifer Montgomery and really liked her. She taught me how to unlock my jaw which no one has ever taught me and I've had jaw issues since childhood. She did a thorough cleaning and didn't diagnose any problems that weren't there which is a huge problem in dentistry. Glad I found someone I can trust!

I had decided on dentures after years of pain and she assured me this was something she could do. A full upper was done. She then told me my four front lower teeth had to go and she could make me a lower partial that looked like a retainer. So she extracted those as well. $8500.00 later she out right refused to finish my bottom partial. Her treatment coordinator simply replied to every question I had with " You have been referred to another dentist." Dr. Theda was paid in full for this work both by my insurance and in cash by me. I have no idea why she referred me. My insurance will not pay twice for same procedure and I am left withOUT four bottom front teeth. The office did offer me a refund but it was so little I can not make my mouth whole until I save enough money to pay for the copays at another dentist. They were nice and my cleanings were good. Being on the road I was nervous on going to a new place. What place could be better than a place in LA? Well, a friend in town recommended this place and we called and she worked hard to get me and my husband in before we left. Calls, confirmations, phone calls. I was surprised about the effort considering they were booked months out and no guarantee when we could come back. The day of I got there and they take you on a 3 minute tour and then some paper work. You sit with the dental assistant for a minute with questions and pictures and then this crazy 360 picture. Then the dentist comes in and the exam was the best I have ever had. Not just teeth, my jaw, sinus, some other words. He spent longer than I expected and wasn't hurrying off after 10 minutes. Showed me every picture and explained everything. My current and long term situation. Then the cleaning. They use a water laser something. No scraping, except for like 45 seconds at the end. I left completely happy. Then I got in my car and looked in the mirror and BLOWN, blown away. There wasnt a single stain, and she got everything off. I love tea and soda, teeth staining experts. TMI and a little embarrassing but it keeps me going when I can. I mentioned lite brite to bleach my teet and he waved it off. Didn't try and sell me a thing or sell me a procedure. I will definitely be back. This will be the thing to bring us back to bend. The hygenist even did measurements of my gums and explained where I was with that. I highly recommend this place for their quality of work, facility (they had technology there that my LA dentist didn't have), and how genuine everyone is there. Its refreshing after LA. I thoroughly researched dental options and landed here with Dr. Kapp and Peak because of the 5 star reviews. I went in, he looked around and couldn't find anything structurally wrong and asked if I used whitening toothpaste. "Why, yes, I do!" He suggested I switch to a Sensitive teeth toothpaste and it's made a wonder of difference. Fast forward to this past Monday; I had my six month dental. The gal who checked me in (sorry not sure of the name) and the technician Melanie-were both lovely. The biggest surprise was that the Dr actually performed the cleaning! Usually it would be the technician in my experience. I cannot say how satisfied I was with this dentist! (PS..they have really nifty and modern x-ray machines that make the process fast an less uncomfortable, and you are in an office with a door and not in the middle of a noisy practice that has several open air stations.) Today he even fixed my uneven front teeth during my check up (see pic)! :) In 2017, my fiance was in an accident and lost his lateral incisor and half of his front tooth. He was devastated and so embarrassed by his appearance. After visiting another Doctor for a consultation, and being unhappy with the appointment, he decided to take my advice and see Dr. Stephenson. He was blown away by the professional staff and how Dr. Stephenson clearly presented his options. After the appointment, he decided that having a dental implant was the best choice for him! They made her very comfortable she can't wait to go to her next appointment. The set up is very different from our old dentist where parents weren't allowed to go in with the patient so she felt isolated. Here, it's like going to a spa. I was actually waiting to see if a nail tech will come out to do her nails while her teeth was being cleaned...haha. The staff are super nice and communicated with her and us every step of the way. This is an an amazing place to take your kids for their dental needs.

I called my insurance and they said technically they should've notified me. I'm not about to check before every appointment whether an office is still in-network. I do feel they should've told me so that I didn't have to pay for services that would've been considered 'free' to us. Besides this, we highly recommend this place.
