Goodness...I was trepidacious due to the reviewers who said service was slow. I am so glad we opted for view. And the view is MAHHHHHRVALOUS DAHHHHLING. but the meal was great too! Prime rib and awesome potatoes. Hubby chose salmon...perfectly prepared. Chef noticed he ordered keto and even put pesto on the side. Waiter, Isaac, was very attentive. And...did I mention the view of the Columbia? Dessert was hard to choose as it all sounded great. But it was great too. I would love to come back...perhaps for a stay!

Easy check in, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice view of the river from our room. Grill was closed by the time we checked in but was able to walk down street to a really good pizza restaurant that offered taste samples of craft beers on tap. Very convenient after a long drive, and need some comfort food and a good sleep. Would definitely stay again

Altho it says my husband is writing this review, sadly he is not along on this trip, so I'm posting this review for him. Over the past 20+ years we have eaten here when passing through the area. We love how "remote", quiet and beautiful the setting is. The food and service has always been very good. Being sited, literally on the Columbia River shore, the location is amazing. The dining room has a floor to ceiling windows with a view of the river as well as the shore across to Washington State. Watching the clouds move through with the sunbeams shining on the river is beyond beautiful. (I'll try and attach photos.) Tonight is the first night I've stayed in the lodge. My room looks out to the river. There is a three-mile paved biking/walking trail running along the shore. My room is immaculately clean and well-provisioned. I love not only the view but how quiet the setting is, so peaceful. After we checked in we got a couple of microbrews and a nice bowl of lentil soup, sat in Adirondack chairs next to the river, and watched the sunset. Magic. I'll be back.

    Room with a view.

We decided to try this off-the-main-road hotel and restaurant as a midway point on our trip to the Oregon coast. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed excellent accommodations, friendly staff, and a gorgeous area and room view of the Columbia river. This felt like a little oasis of green heaven in the midst of an unremarkable day of driving. We loved the food. Large portions with plenty left over for a late night reheating from the small kitchenette in our room. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and while we often choose to relax and eat-in via room service, we couldn't resist the stunning views from the dining room. A true rest stop for weary travelers such as ourselves. We plan to stay here coming and going from now on. Interestingly enough, we were in the dining room with a fellow yelp reviewer who made such a scene we instantly remembered her. She rudely berated the server for several minutes, repeatedly demanded to see the manager, and seemed way more interested in getting compensated for her perceived slight than enjoying the food, scenery, and ambiance. She even included a picture of our family in her review without any consideration for our privacy. Reader beware.

We stayed at the resort for the weekend. Saturday morning 9:30 am and they are out of biscuits and gravy. Told this happens every weekend. Waited 45 minutes to be served cold food with less than 10 customers. No management on duty on the weekends for any part of the property and it sorely shows Saturday evening Happy Hour. Lemon beer was good. Fish & Chip and Nachos only so-so Sunday morning breakfast 9 am. No biscuits and gravy and food served cold, though got food faster

Awesome view. Food is okay, nothing special, nothing too awful. Service a little slow, but one of your best options in Boardman.

The room itself was dirty beds were suspect carpets extremely worn and dirty just a nightmare. We had to leave. Worst motel I been in cleanliness specifically as an issue in many years. Also as a footnote if you use a booking service please don't just take the reviews do some extra checking only takes a short time and also make sure you spend a little extra for trip protection, I usually don't because I'm familiar with most places I stay when traveling but regret not doing it for this trip.

When we asked the staff to help us make the TV work, 3 times in 2 nights, they were rude and did not care one bit (too concerned about chatting with their friends in the lobby and whatever they were all doing on their phones). Don't stay here, you've been warned. Keep on driving or sleep in your car - you'll be better off!

Our 'French Suite' boasted a stunning view of the orchard, foothills, and Cameo Heights pool/patio. My husband and I enjoyed swinging on the set of swings out back, and resting in the shade together to reconnect and go over some marriage workbook material we had brought along. The food; breakfast, and the seven course dinner was delicious. From presentation to taste we left satisfied and nourished. Coffee/tea and danish delivery to our door every morning was every mom's dream ‍. The owners were engaging and clearly love what they do. The restaurant staff and Innkeeper were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend taking some time to enjoy this relaxing luxury BNB. You won't be disappointed.

The property is stunning -- each room uniquely styled with international flair, from Italian and Spanish to French and even Dubai-inspired décor. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a pool area that instantly transported us to Tuscany. There were plenty of loungers for relaxing by the sparkling swimming pool, plus a generously sized hot tub to unwind in. The staff truly elevated our stay -- warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to Rosalina, who was an absolute gem. She made us feel so welcome and even surprised us with a homemade tres leches cake to celebrate one of our friend's birthdays. That personal touch meant the world. We dined at the property one evening; the meal was enjoyable, though not quite exceptional. Still, the ambiance of the mansion more than made up for it. Located about 20 minutes outside downtown Walla Walla, Cameo Heights offers a peaceful retreat -- serene, secluded, and blissfully quiet. The only trade-off is the drive to and from wine tastings, which can feel a bit long at times. But once you're back, it's pure tranquility.
