My son and I had an amazing time. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. Elley was very knowledgeable and helpful. She gave us a tour and answered all of my questions. This place is a hidden gem, if you have kiddos; they'll love the place.

Phenomenal event at the Science Center this eve!! A big thank you to Yelp and Kendall for the special invite!!

Great little nature preserve/center with exhibits!! Bring family, friends and the kiddos. I attended a special event being held here. We walked around a bit inside and viewed all of the displays and got a little culture. It's lovely at night, all lit up and outside of the center you can take a nature walk...especially as the sun Is setting or when it's a bit lighter out. We even got to roast marshmallows on the fire pit! The hickory smoke smell of the wood made me so happy. Overall I had a wonderful night out at the science center!

The main buildings architecture is beautiful and has a minimal impact on the environment. When you walk in you are greeted by somebody at the front desk that is happy to assist and answer any questions you may have. They have a few small exhibits inside of native species (red eared sliders, copperhead, and other small animals). They have a little play area then a room that overlooks a little pond. Once you look at everything inside you walk out the back and can go down the steps to the pond, there are fish and turtles in here that come right up to you. After that you can walk around trails at river legacy park. My 6 year old son loved this and the best part is it's free! it's not incredibly large so I would not plan a whole day here, but a few hours is nice.

Enjoyed the visit. Great place to bring children. Trails surround the location for walking and bike riding. The indoor exhibits are pretty nice.

    Super cute little guy!

Highly educated, informative, and friendly staff. This place is an oasis in an environment where nature is quickly disappearing.

Beautiful area with great walking trails, but we were disappointed that the science center was not open.

I have been a fan since I was in middle school and they had a very large collection that was well curated. Why three stars then? The actual atmosphere of the museum sucks. It takes up half of what used to be the exhibition hall at the Old Arlington convention center. And it looks like it. It also sounds like it. When we were here the other half of the area was being used for the Smurfs experience. Which I totally support and there were lots of young people having a blast. And you could hear all of them. A long with sounds from their experience. I love museums, but they have a certain type of atmosphere for a reason. They were in the old JC Penny building in downtown Arlington for ages. It was old and rather worn, but it didn't feel like you were in a convention hall, I preferred it. Also, parking is $10. Didn't see that on their website, and it would be helpful when you were looking up the location that they mention they are inside the esports arena or the old convention center. It isn't obvious.
