We visited Fernandos's Marble shop first and met with Nancy Capoccia. From that initial meeting we decided that we did not need to keep on looking at and comparing other shops. This is a family owned business and you are treated like family there. We were very happy with all the guidance Nancy provided, the price that was quoted, and the attention to details. Everyone that has visited our home is impressed with how beautiful it came out. I highly recommend Fernando's Marble shop and would use their services again in the future.

They are incredibly wonderful to work with and creative. I have bought stone from a number of places in the past--these folks truly know what they are doing and the results were stunning.

We hired H&C for a total kitchen remodel and we are so thrilled with the results! This was by far…read morethe biggest home improvement project we had ever undertaken. We sought estimates from other contractors but we felt none of them measured up to H&C in terms of their professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. They have a deep and talented team that was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive to all of our questions no matter how small or complex. Even from the very beginning, before we had finalized a design or signed a contract, Luis and his team's responsiveness and professionalism always made us feel as though we were a valued client. That continued throughout the entire process as we worked with them to develop a design that fit within our budget. Fabio was assigned as our project manager and we couldn't be more thankful for him! He was on top of every last detail and when we had two unforeseen issues come up during demolition, he was quick to provide us a thorough assessment of the issue, several options, and his professional recommendation. It was extremely evident that Fabio and his crew that were here every day were a strong team and it was reflected in their daily communications, their craftsmanship, and their meticulous attention to detail. We'll definitely recommend H&C to our friends and family for any remodeling projects. We're looking forward to enjoying our new kitchen for years to come!

Not my favorite thing, but I value it. We weren't sure on their choice but hit Porcelenosa on the Pike, Ikea and Home Depot to compare. There's a song about it, "Nothing Compares" to Logan. First, when you walk in your are welcomed. He works with you directly or someone on his talented team. We walked around, he showed us the varying leveling of cost/quality we could get. Then he sat down with us and talked about our plans. Logan actually came to our home, not once, but twice, to make sure we got things right. Logan doesn't just sell cabinets (with dovetailing) for kitchen and bath, he designs, and connects the entire project to the right people. If you don't have a strong contractor, "things don't get installed properly" and projects always need to be adjusted. Logan referred us to a stellar contractor and then connected us with the counter top folks who gave us a great price and the fixtures, etc. We had a small galley kitchen. Thanks to Logan for his brilliant idea of moving our fridge into the dining area and creating one big space-it opened it all up! Every day I look around and smile, Logan helped us envision a change and made it happen. Oh, and did I say for a fraction of the cost?! This is not my first renovation and when the numbers were in, I couldn't believe it. Granite and quartz counter (MS Bath too) tops, ceramic tile floors with beautiful Shaker cabinets!

All showcase quality IMO. Thus, we've plenty of recent experience with KBS outfit and feel confident in making the highest recommendation. In summary - KBS is not too big nor too small, not too expensive but not cheap, so they were just right for us - average homeowners who seek the very best value. In this regard, KBS was just right. Some highlights........ 1) The crew is experienced and cohesive. They've been together for a good long time. They work well together and we never observed inefficiency. They just work hard all day long. 2) I never had to worry about workers in our home. Honest, polite, professional, kind, and responsive are words I'd use to describe them. 3) Communications were timely and valuable. My advice is to take notes of every communication for reference. In one case we forgot it was our responsibility to acquire an appliance. Uh oh, it was our fault and a written record would have been useful to refer to. Yikes! 4) The budget estimates were honored. there was no bait and switch. Prices were transparent to us. 5) We enjoyed reviewing recommended selections of cabinets, floor, hardware, appliances, sinks etc. Today, we feel somewhat knowledgeable with KBS as our tutors. 6) Cleanup and construction debris was timely. Thanks! 7) The crew was OK with our two dogs. I think our doggies missed them when the jobs were done. Final note: The sign of a great contractor is NOT that nothing goes wrong. Rather it is how the contractor responds when something does go wrong. In this regard, KBS took care of problems I was not even aware of, and when I was, they swarmed to make it right ASAP. For example, a quartz kitchen countertop cracked. Surprised. The piece was faulty. The crack was not due to poor installation. We only had to make one call to Dan who took care of it. Easy peasy. No hassles or haggles about responsibility or cost. Perfect. I've a few more impressive examples. So the more work we observed, the more confident we became in KBS. In my life "trust" is earned and hard to achieve in the contracting world. So, it is with pleasure to say KBS was trusted. We'd hire them again whenever we have a future need. Simply excellent!

From the start, Tile Center made this piece of our process easy and pleasant, and we love the outcome. As project manager, Joe was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He came to our house very quickly after our initial outreach, returned later with grout samples, and walked us through options at the showroom. He always responded quickly to emails and texts. He helped us navigate tile shortages and advised us when we needed to order from a third party. Thomas, the installer, was also fantastic. His work is beautiful, and on top of that, he was just incredibly lovely to be around. He not only tolerated, but was awesomely kind to, our very loud and unhelpful dog! He also went above and beyond dealing with various issues that arose. James, who came on one of the days, was also great. On top of everything else, we really appreciated how both Joe and Thomas worked things out so that we could live in the house throughout the installation. That was really helpful as far as both hassle and the potential extra cost of lodging. We got porcelain wood-look tiles, and we really like the outcome (see picture). 100% recommend.
