Showing number that hangs up on you.

Absolutely terrible experience since I purchased my new Dodge Ram Promaster 2500. As a business owner with over 15 years of manager experience, leaving a poor review is my absolute last resort however, when you hear my story you will understand why and hopefully NEVER purchase a DODGE vehicle as they will take your money and point fingers as to who is at fault. Purchased vehicle end of November however, I did not drive it until beginning of January as I needed to outfit it with decals and shelving. I've had it in for service 3 times so far and still have problems with rear view cam which was supposedly fixed under a recent recall. The worst part is there is no one to help me out with any of my problems. A manager on 7/5 told me to call the number in the picture which I have 5 times now and it just hangs up on me. I spoke to Chris the service manager today who didn't care that the number hung up on me and asked me if I have contacted the dealer where I purchased it from which should be irrelevant since all Ram dealers service Dodge PROMASTERS. His only resolution was for me to bring the vehicle back however, when I explained I would need a loaner he said that was not possible. Once I figure out how to upload the call recording I will do so.

BAIT AND SWITCH BEWARE: I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent experience negotiating the lease for the gas and hybrid Pacificas. After several positive virtual interactions where pricing was upfront and clearly communicated, I made the trip to the dealership, expecting that same transparency. However, once I arrived, the experience changed completely. Despite having the agreed-upon lease terms in both text and email, the pricing presented in-store was double what we discussed--going from a $600 payment to $1,200 without any clear explanation. This experience feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, which is disappointing, especially when the terms are documented. I understand that prices can vary, but this type of inconsistency erodes trust and impacts customer satisfaction. It's no surprise that Stellantis has faced challenges, as these practices reflect poorly on the brand as a whole. In an era where transparency is increasingly valued by consumers, I hope Stellantis and its dealerships will take customer feedback seriously and improve on these tactics. A more honest approach would surely enhance the dealership's reputation and build stronger customer relationships. UPDATE: Based on the reply. This is how you know when it's a typical BAIT and switch when the dealership argues with the customer. I have proof in written. Yes we looked at a different vehicle which you guys quoted $1,200 lease payment and if I give you details on that vehicle how it came out to $1,200 you should be ashamed. The original vehicle we talked about before we came in we worked on that vehicle we had the price at $650 with first month down only and with taxes and fees rolled in. When we came in somehow that prices went up to $697 that's without me rolling my other vehicle in. I showed the message and what did you guys tell me? Oo I don't know how the $650 happened lol you guys are a Joke dealership Stellantis should take your franchise away especially sitting here argue with a customer. This is just one part. Now I'm going show this on every media outlet to expose how you guys are wrong and then try to say I left out other details lol

Horrible Customer Service!!!!! I had the absolute worst Customer Service experience at RiverFront Chrysler today. I went to the Service Department to inquire about having the Fuel Filler Housing replaced on my RAM 1500, as the plastic unit ( that encases the gas fuel filler neck) broke at the rivets when I had to use force to dislodge the gas pump (which was stuck) after fueling. I spoke with Mike Goehring, the Service Manager after making an appointment to be sure they had the part and that it was covered under my extended warranty (7/60 Maximum Care Plan). Mike instead gave me the third degree, stating he never heard of this ever happening with a vehicle. I explained that their was actually a class action lawsuit underway for this very issue and is why Chrysler changed the design for later model RAM 1500's. (But that wasn't my concern). Again, asking Mike if this would be covered under my extended warranty (MOPAR Vehicle Protection), Mike said he wouldn't know and couldn't check until I came in for the appointment and they did a diagnostic, took pictures and contacted Chrysler Warranty( which he stated would take about three hours) Not one person was even willing to take a look while the truck which was there. Needless to say I WAS SHOCKED!(we were speaking of a plastic housing unit, not anything of a mechanical nature) I have personally purchased two new vehicles at RiverFront and took my son to recently purchase another one ( RAM 1500, Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Rubicon) and would expect at least halfway decent service, but recieved anything but that today. The dealership was all to eager to sell an extended warranty, but apparently too lazy to reasonably assist a repeat customer. I may not have been clean shaven today, however I am a business professional and shouldn't need to wear a shirt and tie to recieve equal treatment at any establishment. I would never again recommend Riverfront Chrysler to anyone. They apparently dont embrace diversity and Mike was very condescending to say the least. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!

    Love my new 1500!

The interior quality is phenomenal, and I absolutely love the car. Dako was transparent, knowledgeable, organized, and extremely efficient. I told him my budget upfront, and there was no back-and-forth--he worked hard to get me exactly where I needed to be. The entire process was smooth, clear, quick, and completely transparent, with no hidden fees. He was attentive, detail-oriented, and very respectful of my time. The whole team at Gerald Hyundai was professional, welcoming, and never pushy. This is my fifth lease with Hyundai, and I couldn't be happier. The 2026 Santa Fe is a completely different vehicle--it drives beautifully, feels incredibly solid on the road, and gives me a lot of confidence. I highly recommend Dako if you're looking for a great, stress-free car-buying experience.

I'm curious what these other 5 star reviews experienced because this was a toss up with a root canal for how I'd rather spend my time. The sales manager got me in the door with offering me a good discount on MSRP, but he conveniently left out the mandatory and unadvertised "Gerald Protection Package" that's an absolute rip off: $1000 for nitrogen, wheel locks (which they don't actually include?), door edge guards (which are shrink wrap), and VIN etching (with 1 year theft protection "worth" 5k if it gets stolen). It's a dealer markup that's disguised as a useless add-on. Another review mentions this dealership specifically does not do the "skeezy VIN etching" trick, so maybe this is the special treatment they give higher-in-demand vehicles. They kept trying to reason that "all dealers do this" (they don't), and "we're already selling this at a loss" (they're not). The only reason I completed the sale was because they increased the trade-in value and reduced the unwanted "Protection Plan" to 699. I'd already driven an hour from Chicago and spent an hour and a half in the dealership already. No where on the website, window sticker, or in my communication on the phone did they mention this mandatory markup. They were very clear that it was my fault for not knowing about it though. Then when you get to financing it's another hour of extended warranty/prepaid maintenance sales pitches that just makes you want to run out screaming. It was a 4 hour process, and I walked into the dealership with the car already picked out. Oof. Edit: 2/1: Not even a day in and the door edge protectors are peeling off. How are these going to protect doors when they can't even protect themselves?! Edit 2/3: It keeps getting worse: the "VIN etching" they charged me for doesn't actually exist, no windows are etched. Probably worst of all now is what I found under the drivers seat: an unpackaged loose razor blade that I'm unbelievably lucky I found before my 3 year old did.

Before the sale, Jeff Albert mentioned that Subaru's commonly have issues with their timing belts and head gaskets. However, he never mentioned that the 2004 Subaru Outback that I ended up purchasing currently had a blown head gasket. The gaskets, heads, and timing belt all had to be replaced for $1,800 in repairs. In addition, I later found out on the first warm day that the air conditioning unit is also non-functional, and will need to be replaced. The blown head gasket became apparent after I noticed a collection of coolant and oil underneath the vehicle the morning after I purchased it. These leaking fluids were not present when I test drove the car, and I presume that Jeff Albert wiped off the fluids prior to my arrival as he told me to call him before I arrived. When I called Jeff Albert to inquire about how he would handle the situation, he said that the best he could do for me was refer me to his mechanic, Robinson's Firestone in Aurora, IL, where he could save me a couple of bucks by getting his low rates on the repairs. He mentioned that he already saved me $500 dollars on the deal by reducing the sale price from $6,500 to $6,000 (which is just basic bargaining), and he was totally unwilling to compensate me for the repairs. I refused to take my car into his mechanic and throw good money after bad by falling for this ruse. Jeff Albert was completely against standing behind his cars and his company, and he summed it up perfectly when he told me, "Well, you should've had it checked by a mechanic before you bought it." He is a smooth talker, but is very deceiving and tricky. Be very cautious when dealing with this man. If you must buy a car from him, have your mechanic, not his, look at it first. Also, refuse to sign anything that voids out the Illinois State Law that grants a used car warranty to buyers. I hope that you have found this review helpful, and can avoid making a mistake like I did and buying a car from Jeff Albert.
