Sicilian and regular small plain
Jay L.

Good and reliable pizza, tried their Sicilian and a small plain and both were really good. The Sicilian isn't like your traditional Sicilian however, more like a rectangular version of their regular pizza, but hey it's still delicious haha. Cheese to sauce ratio is what I prefer and overall taste is great. My wife said the sauce could use more tang which I could agree, but we still enjoyed it. Will order from here again!

Small thin crust, half "the works" and half veggie

We stopped by for the first time tonight and were thrilled with our experience. Alex and his team are making some of the best thin crust pizza in the area. We came in with a group of six, and they happily accommodated us. They were friendly, welcoming, and the food was delicious. The crust was thin thin thin, and the cheese and sauce were the perfect mix of salty and sweet. I wish I had taken photos of the rest of our food, but we ate it too quickly (that's how good it is!) We had two plain small thin crust pies, a half pepperoni/half sausage, and a small thin crust with half "the works" and half veggie. We also got a salad and two Italian subs and an arugula salad. Everything we ate was fantastic! We also got to meet the owner Alex, who has put his heart and soul into this place. He is a stand-up guy who really cares about his customers. If you get the chance, stop in and try their pizza - you won't be disappointed!

Placed a large order for a birthday party this past Sunday. I called just about three hours prior to the time I needed the food. I spoke to the owner herself and she was awesome! Ordered about 10 pies, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers and garlic knots. Food was delivered on time. Owner was lovely The pies were delicious The garlic knots were simply amazing! Nicely cut and easy to grab The chicken fingers were cut as requested and all was just perfect! Thank you!!!

Friday night pizza is back! When my wife had to cut gluten from her diet, our family pizza consumption took a serious dive. But not for long! I was so thrilled to find a gluten-free pizza spot nearby. We ordered from River Edge Pizza Kitchen tonight. And it was good! The crust is more chewy and doughy than your standard New York "snap." But the cheese/sauce ratio was solid, and the toppings were abundant and very fresh. REPK is a solid pizza option, overall. But for us, it's great, because our whole family can enjoy it.

Large Thin Crust, well done. Amazing. Flakey, thin, good undercarriage, tangy sauce. 8.3.

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. It's pricey.

The dining area is one room adorned with attractive art decor and a glass wall overlooking the main road. The Caesar salad was a light, yet satisfying starter. The romaine lettuce, croutons and house made dressing blended the perfect trio! If you are looking for an appetizer with a touch of sweet and spice, the sausage & broccoli rabe will do the trick. The protein and vegetable blended well together with some diced tomatoes thrown on top. As always, I can never visit any Italian establishment without trying the Chicken Parmesan. For the most part, it did not disappoint. My sole critique is the excess amount of moisture beneath the linguini. I also used any extra mozzarella cheese as a topping for the pasta and table bread. Named after its restaurant, the chicken ciao bella was breaded and pan fried. The lemon butter sauce definitely added flavor to the cutlets and the side vegetables were just as "bella" as the main entree. The coffee flavored dessert was paradise. The taste as so rich and pure in flavor, you definitely didn't need coffee either this final course. I highly recommend this location if you want a decent meal at reasonable price. Thank you, Omar and the culinary artists for your pristine service with a smile. #ciaobella #italianbistro #newmilfordnj #caesarsalad #broccoliarabe #italiansausage #chickenparmesan #chickenciaobella #tiramisu #njeats #localspots #foodstagram #njfoodie

We started off with a salad, followed by a short rib pizza for my wife and a Mafalda pasta dish for myself. Can't really complain about either of the dishes or the salad. They were really very good. I started it off with a bloody mary while my wife had a glass of Nebiollo. Good bloody mary by the way. Today we came here at early afternoon, so we're thinking we may need to come here at night sometime to see what it's like. Once again my wife picked a good one. We started their version of a Caesar salad, which was very good. My wife craves pizza, so she went for the Short Rib pie, while I went with the Malfade pasta... Mafalde (a la carbonara, guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino & black pepper)... a dish I would order again and again. Trouble was the pizza looked so good... I just had to have a 'bite' and we ended up sharing both meals. We finished by sharing a Gelato for dessert, which was fantastic. There was a 'name' for it, but I'll be damned if I can remember it or find out what it's called online. Regardless... it goes without saying... we'll be back!

The space is pretty lively and would be a great place to watch a sports event. Appreciate that the space has different types of seating areas from traditional dining tables to a big bar area and a lounge area in the middle. It can get loud in there so I wouldn't go there if you're looking for an intimate vibe. The staff is pretty friendly and do a good job of attending to the patrons. The food is where it was a bit disappointing to me. I can appreciate the wide variety of items on the menu, but not when the quality varies so much. We ordered a few pasta dishes (one that was on the daily special), a few taco dishes, an order of wings and the brussel sprouts. All of the pasta dishes were huge disappoints. They looked like pasta dishes from Applebees. The sauces were very runny and the kids pastas were the most basic pastas that were way overpriced for what they were. My daughter who loves pastas only ate about 1/3 of it and told me she didn't like it. The wings were dry and not saucy enough. The tacos were OK. The brussel sprouts were the only standout dish that we ordered. I liked their extensive draft beer menu though. Lots of variety to choose from and the drinks were fresh. Overall, I'd certainly come back here and hope that I pick some better food choices or a big improvement on the food quality, but a fun place to hang out at.

Other than that, a solid spot for Italian food if you enjoy that cuisine and are ok with the prices. The menu has a pretty large selection of foods, from pasta dishes and seafood to pizza to parms, chicken/veal, ravioli, and salads. I ordered the penne with broccoli rabe ($25) and for that price I would have wanted A LOT of broccoli rabe to be satisfied and perhaps a few more ingredients. It was tasty and filling but I didn't make a good choice there. The salmon penne was also well flavored, with some nice salmon pieces, rich sauce, peas. They also give you complimentary bread and what looked somewhat like garlic bread; both were good but added to the carbolicious experience. Service was pretty attentive.
