I have nothing but great things to say about River Edge Dental. I have been coming here for 8 years and am so happy with the service I receive every single time I visit. Starting with how amazing the staff is - so kind & courteous. Marijana & Kayla are such great Hygienists and make the cleaning experience actually pleasurable. Dr. Bauta is new to the clinic, but wonderful! She answers all questions patiently and is so wonderful with explaining everything step by step, showing X-rays at the same time helping you understand everything so clearly. Artisha is also wonderful if you're there for a retainer or mouth guard scan. And the cherry on top is how clean the office is. Esthetics is very important to me and River Edge gets an A+! Always spotless and smells good. Never thought I'd leave a Dentist's office smiling, but I can assure you I do here! Highly recommend!!! read more

I've been a loyal patient of River Edge Dental for over 20 years. I recently came in for my semi-annual cleaning and was introduced to hygienist Kayla who was informative and professional. I had been treated by Marijana for all of my previous visits. This past week Dr. Tsimis installed a crown...a normally involved procedure requiring two visits. He treated the damaged tooth, measured and prepped me in 45 minutes. To my amazement one half hour later my new crown was ready and perfectly fit to my satisfaction. They now have the technology to fabricate a permanent crown. I think it is awesome. Bravo to Dr. Marlen, Dr. Tsimis and the entire staff! My previous dentist overlooked severe gum disease. I am 87 years old. I did some research on the internet and learned about Perio gel trays as aid to prevention and found two practices or so that use it, including Dr. Marlen, so that's how I found this practice. With several very thorough cleanings plus some new crowns and a filling in a again overlooked cavity, I seem to be stable. I have been using the tray since last fall and use the flosser water pik after every meal. I rate them highly. read more

This was our go- to dentist for my family for 20 years. But last Sep visit no one told us the dentist was now out of the network and tooth repair cost 2k. Add insult the repair didn't work and in Jan when in-network dentist used, I was charged out if network price, $1500. It's wrong not to tell patients you are no longer in network and worse to overcharge like that. I wasted much time getting refund. Dr Marlen, you've just lost three patients. perhaps better train your dentist that did poor job last Sep and your office staff to say you're not in network. read more

I still think it's a good dental practice but unfortunately the office staff is clueless. No matter how many times you ask for detailed bills to submit to your insurance they still f*ck it up. Getting bills straightened out is like pulling teeth-pun intended. They never get it right the first, second or third time. It's so frustrating having to deal with the front desk. Barbara was the only person who knew how things worked. Sorry to say this. Horrible dentist! Screwed my mouth up big time. Claimed he was an LVI dentist and was not! Stay away !!!!

I was suffering with severe TMJD for 20 years with chronic pain. I had been to many specialists who were of very little help or only treated the symptoms, not the underlying issue. Finally I found Dr. Marlen and his team! My condition was looked at as a whole and the assessments and testing to come up with my treatment plan were so detailed and explained thoroughly. This was all while using the latest technology and I know that Dr. Marlen and staff also are constantly going to workshops to keep up to date with their knowledge on my disorder. Since my treatment, I feel like a better version of myself! My pain has lessened tremendously, I sleep better, have more energy which has led to weight loss. I all around feel more alive. It's amazing! I highly recommend Riveredge Dental! I even switched to them as my permanent dentist now. If you are suffering with TMJD, look no further! this used to be my go to spot for cleanings and I have had a wonderful experience here but not this time. I called back to see if I can come in for a cleaning I was told that I have cancelled a couple of appointments in the past and that they don't want to reschedule me for this reason. First, you should be glad I called and cancelled the appointment. Great people and great service. They did a very thorough job cleaning. The first time here, they took a bunch of pictures and X-rays to make sure everything was good. I definitely recommend this office to anyone. They also have free wifi while waiting so that is a plus. The wait is usually very short if you make an appointment. There are very timely. Also, in the waiting room there is coffee, tea, and bottled water. I have been going here for about a year and a half and don't think I will ever go anywhere else. read more

I went in for a cleaning, to have a cavity fixed and to have an implant. They hit my dental insurance for $250 and I got none of what I went in for. They spent an hour and a half on BS that was meant to scare and embarrass me. They then said I had to get this laser gum treatment for $12,000 before they would fix anything. Never again. Wouldn't ever recommend them. read more

I really enjoy coming here even if it is a dentist! Staff and Doctor made me feel very comfortable. I learned alot about my teeth. I have never seen them the way I saw them here and it made me realize I was not taking care of them as well as I should have. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. I honestly have never been more comfortable at any other dentist. They have coffee and juice while you wait and I have been there twice and have never waited more than a few minutes. I had cleaning first and then some cavities filled and am just very happy I picked them. I would recommend this office to everyone! To the person who stated this was a scare tactic dentist I think they wrote the review on the wrong office. Everyone here made sure I was aware that I can always choose what I wanted to do. this dentist made me very uncomfortable. like i had to do what he said - and i felt as if i was being pushed. they took xrays and put a cap on a tooth. my delta dental insurance paid and i paid and when i did was told, when i asked did i own anything else, they said no. when i came back for the cap - the dentist dropped the cap for the tooth in the back of my mouth and it almost went down my throat - now they want me to pay a $50.00 balance - they were paid enough for a very bad experience. i feel like i was taken. read more
