Teaneck Dentist is literally the best dental office I've ever been to. The front desk staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Dr. Frohlich is the best dentist!! I have a very low tolerance for pain especially when it comes to dental work- and my previous dentist was not sensitive when it came to my pain. Dr. Frohlich was very understanding from the minute I started going to him. He is extremely professional and compassionate and I didn't feel one ounce of pain throughout the entire procedure. I got a root canal and crown done and it was painless the entire time. His dental assistant is great too. She's very friendly and helpful (she calmed me down when I got nervous and made sure I was OK multiple times). If you live in the surrounding area I highly recommend Teaneck dentist! I have been a patient at Teaneck Dentist for close to 10 years. From the minute you walk through the doors you are greeted with a smile! Dr Ari takes away the anxiety of going to the dentist. He doesn't shuffle you in and out of the doors. He genuinely wants to hear your concerns and makes suggestions on how he can help. COVID-19 has made me very concerned about visiting any of my doctors. However, Dr Ari, Dr Mintz and their staff made a smooth transition to reopening the office. The office is above and beyond clean, they ensure proper protocol is met when you arrive, they limit the number of patients in the waiting room and still provide the same level of care and concern for their patients. I was in pain....serious pain...pain that I had put off for 4 days. Apparently you shouldn't put off dental pain for 4 days. It doesn't get better, it only gets worse. I called the office on a Friday morning at about 8 a.m. A very kind secretary answered and I explained that I was in pain. She asked me to hold and a few moments later told me to come in. I went in to find no other patients. Understandably, I was concerned. However it turns out the office is closed on Friday. The secretary could tell I was in pain, and one of the doctors was in to do some paperwork so she decided she could see me. She took x-rays and informed me I'd need a root canal. Now, with no other doctors in the office, she told me she wasn't set up to do any work but referred, called, and made an appointment for me to see a specialist. Let me tell you, I will be a loyal patient to Teaneck Dentist and particularly to Dr. Bloch. She took excellent care of me in an emergency and really put my needs first. I recently went in for a follow up appointment and saw a few other patients waiting in the waiting room. A man was sitting across from me and one the hygienists came out, gave him a warm welcome and informed him that another patient was taking longer than expected but that they apologized for the wait and would be with him shortly. How often do you wait in the waiting room and when the doctor gets to you, they get to you? Clearly this is a practice that cares about its patients time and health. read more

I have been a patient here for over 25 years. I used to see Dr. Gertler and have now transitioned to Dr. Sammy. Last year I cracked a tooth and had to have it removed. Dr. Sammy was took me that same morning and after the procedure he talked to me about different options including having an implant. I hesitated starting the implant process. I had some other medical issues I was dealing with and was convinced that I didn't want to add another painful procedure to my already stressful life. Well...yesterday I finally felt like things had settled and I went in to start the implant. I was so incredibly surprised at how easy it was. Dr. Sammy was stellar at keeping me informed and pain free throughout the procedure. He called me later that afternoon to see how I was feeling and answered a few post-op questions I had. I kept it iced off and on and took my Advil every 5 hours. It's now day two and I stopped taking Advil today! When I scheduled my appointment I did so carefully planning it so that I would have a long weekend to recover, but it was not at all necessary. I feel pretty good and I totally could have returned to work the next day if I had needed to. I really wish I hadn't waited so long to start this. If you're on the fence about becoming a patient or getting an implant at Teaneck dentist, don't be. The quality of care you will receive is exceptional! read more

I found Teaneck Dentist on Yelp because they were open on a Sunday and I had a horrible tooth pain. Turned out to be an infection which Dr. Floric took care of so well i returned for a check up and fillings. Since then I've had crowns beautifully replaced and new fillings put it. In the middle of a quarantine I developed a toothache. I tried to ignore it but eventually called Teaneck Dentist. I'm not a new patient but have never been more pleased then I was this visit. My tooth was a mess and needed an immediate root canal. This while they are basically closed and with one dentist and a technician. They were so caring, nice and skilled. Teaneck Dentist is absolutely AMAZING. I have an birthday party coming up in May. I was missing back teeth that made me ashamed to smile sometimes. The recommendations were implants however, I knew it was not in my budget. Dr. Gertler was very compassionate with my request to smile wide as a professional and for my big day. I can't believe after 30 yrs. of being their greatful patient, I was blamed wrongly again for something that wasn't my fault & almost dropped as patient, 1st time after 20 yrs., until I explained it to (retired) Dr. Michelle Bloch. I never forgot this horrible experience. Teaneck Dentist office girls were going to drop me as a patient after 20 yrs. 4 Medical/ Dental Providers couldn't agree on which antibiotic I needed for Dental work. Dr. Michelle asked me which one & I said I had to find out. The former Primary Care Dr. said "let the Dentist decide the prosthetic", the former Cardiologist gave a diff. antibiotic for dental work, the former Orthopedist's (from then recent bilateral hip replacements w/metal prothetics surgeries 2006, needed antibiotics for dental work & surgery)Orthopedists office girl snapped at me " What's the problem, it's Keflex", the Cardiologist snapped at me "What does a hip guy know about hearts?" & Teaneck Dentist former Gerri & some of the girls complained about me when I called more than 1X trying to figure out what to do .Elise ran into me outside somewhere in Teaneck & told me "some of the girls were complaining about you & she knows I was coming there a long time( 20 yrs. then) & she'd hate to see me lose these services!" I was crying. The former Pharmacist refused to call the Dentist for me.I called & Geri who did not answer me that I needed help, that I didnt know which antiobiotic to tell Dr. Michelle. She said " see how easy"& called Dr. Michelle on Dr. Michelle's cellphone to call me back. I told Dr. Michelle the( former) Primary Care wouldn't make the decision, the Cardiologist givesa diff.antibiotic & the Orthopedists girl was short w/ me that it was " Keflex" & not the same as the Cardiologist. Dr. Michelle said " Then it really wasnt really your fault, "she would explain it to the Teaneck Dentist office girls that the American Orthopedists Society & the American Cardiology do NOT give the antibiotics for Dental work the same way". She said she would fax both Drs. for me: fax the Cardiologist & fax the Orthopedist. That was 11 yrs. ago. I cant believe a few things blew up again, esp.in 2016. Dr. Michelle did such nice, wonderful things for me, there was 1 dental technician that was really concerned about my pet bird ( 15 yrs. old bird), 1 dental technician was very helpful w/ letters & faxing them,& then several things that were not my fault blew up again. I saw every Dentist there since later 1987: Dr. Morton Bloch, Dr. Val Bloch, Dr. Richard Gertler & then Dr. Michelle Bloch & sometimes Dr. Ari Froehlich. I cannot believe things ended so badly as I became more Hearing Disabled & Handicapped , things really blew up & it was not my fault. I gave them sometimes cookies, bagels, small cakes & I used to send them Seasons Greetings cards. I gave Dr. Michelle a thank you card & a small gift 2015. In 2016 due to my hearing disability, I never heard the phone ring & I had to get to the Pharmacy for my RX Antibiotics before Dentist appt. I was promised by Dr. Michelle that the mouth bruxism piece would be ready to be put in my mouth Oct.27, 2016 afternoon appt.w/Dr. Michelle. On Oct.23,2016 the last crown they gave me came off when I was chewing soft food ( per Dr. Michelle's instructions). I was afraid to call Teaneck Dentist! Oct.24,2016 Urgent Care was told about the severeTMJ pain& shown the crown that came off, they gave me a Toradol Injection & Tylenol w/Codeine Home RX for the TMJ& pain. On 10/27/2016 I was outside Teaneck Dentist In my wheelchair, for my appt. they didnt have the ramp out for me. Angela came to the door as other patients were trying to get someone to put the ramp out for me, Angela claimed she called me all morning, that Dr. Michelle had cancelled due to family emergency, why was I there? I told Angela the appt.was made by Dr. Michelle to put the mouth bruxism piece in my mouth that day's appt. 10-27-16& I showed her my crown that came off, I had it in a bottle. She never offered me an emergency appt, that I could wait for the other Dentist ( Dr. Gertler or Dr. Froehlich).I had Toradol Inj. At Urgent Care 2 days before & was on Tylenol w/ Codeine RX when I was explaining this! I again explained I have a severe bilateral hearing impairment, I said maybe the Teaneck police can explain it to you! I called 911, started to get Lockjaw from the TMJ tendons& pain across my mouth from the crown that came off. The Police officer knew I was in visible pain. I started showing him Dr. Michelle's letters about pain, the Audiologists Hearing loss assesment of me. I wrote asking him to ask the Teaneck Dentist for another appt., he said they said to CALL WHEN I GOT home from the Hospital. At the E.R., they gave me a Methadone HCl Inj. & 15 day home RX Methadone HCl &wrote severe pain on RX& on E.R.discharge papers wrote 2 referrals to Pain Mgmt.Drs. I cant believe 1 client only had toothache & used Aleve & Teaneck Dentist took her ASAP! read more

I have recently had a great deal of work done by Dr. Frohlich. The entire staff has treated me with respect and care throughout the process. The front desk staff is kind and all smiles when I walk in. I have never had to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room and Dr. Frohlich is always available right away. The dental assistants are wonderful, holding my hand when I was nervous and making sure that I was comfortable at all times. Dr. Frohlich has called to check up on me after procedures and come in on his day off to fix a problem. I get cleanings twice a year from the dental hygienist who has done a good job and is very thorough. I've been a patient of Teaneck Dentist for over 35 years. Besides great dental care, their response to emergency issues. I had emergency treatments twice, one an extremely painful infection requiring immediate root canal resolve. The other, lifting a weight at the gym, unfortunately, raised it too high and chipped away my front tooth! The tooth looked like a hook, not a nice picture when smiling. It was their day off but two dentists showed up to fix my issue, Drs. Gertler and Frolich. I have also had implant work accomplished, very happy with the results. Through the years, it's been corrective work done due to a previous dentist in my early years. Teaneck Dentist has corrected those issues and taken such good care of my dental needs, I just go for cleaning, twice yearly, or fixing my front teeth when I insist on eating the meat off chicken bones and spare ribs! So as most people are, I'm terrified of dentists. I broke a tooth a few days ago and had a lot of pain. I've been to this office before just for a cleaning and they are super nice. So now for the broken tooth. I called to see if I can make an emergency appointment. The wonderful receptionist told me to come in as soon as possible. Wow, talk about amazing service. Once at the office I didn't wait no more than 5 minutes and was called in. But unfortunately they couldn't do any work until the next day when the specialist was in. Next day comes 2/22/19, I get to the office and a wonderful Dr. Cohen comes in. She is AMAZING!!!! She took the time to explain what is going to take place step by step. She assured me that I was in control of the whole thing being I was so nervous. I ended up being so relaxed I actually fell asleep. Talk about a smooth hand , I didn't feel a thing. Every step was fully explained. I walked out of there perfectly fine with very little numbness and no pain at all. I highly recommend Teaneck Dentist office to anyone. I often use Yelp to find restaurants but this is the first time that I leaving a review. Teaneck Dentist is a gem. From start to finish everyone was attentive, friendly and professional. The front desk team (esp Angela) makes everyone that walks in the door feel welcome. Hearing their interactions while waiting in the reception area, it is obvious that patients become part of the family. Dr. Frohlich was great -- very friendly, thorough & professional. My mom's case was complicated but Dr. Frohlich presented our options, developed an action plan and explained everything up front.
