    We recently moved and our dining room table was damaged during the move. The legs that support the pedestals were cracked and one was crushed. We have owned the table for 15 years. We never thought we would have to replace it. However we did not have much hope that it could be repaired. After going in circles with the movers insurance we found Ricardo at Riveldi. I'm soooo glad we did. Ricardo assured us that he could repair the legs and make them stronger than they were before. He did. He also restored the wood and shine to the tips of the legs which are nickel. We could not be happier.

    Wooton Rotary Desk

    I purchased a huge Wooton rotary desk at auction and Ricardo brought it back to life! It is well over 100 years old and I wanted it to retain its antique character while having it restored to working condition. Ricardo is a true craftsman and both he and his helper Manuel were a joy to work with, Ricardo knew exactly what I wanted and was able to stay within my budget. He was very communicative through the entire process and I am just thrilled. I highly recommend Rivedi!

Upon further review, the front right leg of the chair had cracked at the top due to some over-tightened hex screws. A wave of thoughts came over me at that moment. I thought about having to ditch a completely good dining set all because one chair was ruined. I thought about trying to find a replacement of that chair, but being the set was 15 years old I figured that was next to impossible. I thought about just having a five-chair set even though the table is set up for six since we don't really host very often anyway. I was in a bit of a pickle and wasn't sure what I could do. Spending a ton of money on a new dining set over one bad leg just made me sick... I decided to call up the furniture store where I bought the set from just to see if I could order a new chair or have it repaired. They informed me they did not do repairs, but referred me to McCoy's Furniture Repair. This call may be the most important phone call I've made in months. I was greeted by a voicemail which informed me to leave a voicemail as Randy is often out on service calls and that he returns calls in the evening. I've heard this story before, but decided to leave a message anyway because I was desperate to see if I could get this fixed. Randy called me that evening and we set up a date/time window for him to come out and evaluate the situation. Randy showed up exactly when he said he would, and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the chair and was confident that he could repair and told me exactly what he was planning to do to fix it. He gave me a ballpark estimate which was very fair and I agreed to let him work his magic. A few days later, I got a call from Randy letting me know that he was done with the job and that it went according to plan. The final cost was right in the middle of the estimate window he provided. We set up a time for him to come back out and deliver our kitchen chair 2.0 (new and improved). Once again, Randy showed up exactly when he said he would and the chair looked great! The leg looked as if it had never had an issue to begin with and he went over what he did to make it secure. It felt like new again! Randy is the definition of professionalism and it was a pleasure dealing with him. He's a very honest person and I would not hesitate to go back to him for any future needs. The world needs more people like this and I'm glad I stumbled across one of them when I began my desperate journey to have the chair leg fixed. A+ service. A+ demeanor. A+ experience.

    If I could rate 0 stars I would , the lady that works there gave me a price of 1300 for couches…read morethen called me saying it would be 1700 a week later explaining the shipping and tariffs. Then when I asked for my 200$ deposit back they kept giving me the run around and then finally asked me to come.Back with my yellow receipt for proof saying she can't do a refund without it. I had to call my bank to refund it. She is rude and hung up on me twice after telling her I was going to write a review of how she does business she says go ahead and hangs up. That lady I dealt with needs customer service Manners she claims to be manager yet doesn't know the price of what she's selling ? Ken was nice he tried but didn't know how to refund my money to my card claiming he didn't know how to work the machine? I tried a few times going back to get my money back but I work 6 days a week I don't have the time or energy to be going around in circles with these people Horrible experience, reporting to better business bureau never doing business with this furniture store. Save yourself the headache !! Mind you they are selling Ashley's furniture above Ashley's prices so I went to Ashley's and got the couch for cheaper . They couldn't even price match or sell me it 50$ cheaper to make a sale and when they called me they said no one would care or listen to my review. And they continue to contact me about the price dispute with different numbers after I told them I'm done with them they don't get the picture that I'm done ! They tried to sell me a couch set which I clearly have the receipt for 1300$ with 200$ remaining balance 1,100 then tried to change the price to 1700$ and now they are saying this in the text ( look at text messages ) I'm no longer responding to all their messages

    The were recommended by my (awesome) real estate agent. I called, had a conversation on the phone…read moreand was quoted a price. I rattled off a list of items that would be moved and estimated a number of boxes. My estimate of boxes was terrible. It was a one bedroom apartment and frankly, I haven't moved that many times so I was way off and that's totally on me. But somehow, all the furniture items I listed on the phone didn't make it to the work order so when the movers showed up on moving day, they were not prepared for the items to be moved. I want to state clearly that the two moving guys were amazing. I think the lead guy was named Manuel and he couldn't have been easier to deal with and he really wanted things to go well. Polite, efficient and everything I could ask for but they brought what was basically a Ford pick-up truck pulling a trailer based on what they thought they were hauling. But because they were amazing, they got more into the trailer than it originally looked like but not everything in the apartment. When we got to the new house, they were great at moving everything in. At that time, I got a call from the office wanting to settle the bill before everything was off the truck I guess. I was fearing a tense conversation but they were civil (and so was I) and we got it worked out. I was going to talk to them about another trip to get the remaining items but at the last minute decided the logistics of getting to the old apartment to meet the truck were too complicated for us and my son rented a U-Haul and picked up the remaining items the next day. So to sum up, I would use them again but: -I would want to see the work order in advance to make sure we were aligned on the items to be moved. In fact, I wish I would have written down what I had and emailed it to them. If you use them, ask to see the work order in advance. -Since I'm not a professional mover and have no idea how many boxes a move takes (we had the quoting conversation a couple of weeks before the move), I would hope that if I throw out a ridiculously low number (which I did) that they would question it based on their experience. If those two items had been handled differently by me and them, it would have easily been a 5 star experience for me and it could be for you.

I didn't know what to do but had to move fast. All in a day gave me a fair quote and boy do those movers get it done in a day. I waited in line at the fair for certain rides longer than it took these guys to get several pieces out of my home. All in a day saved the day!
