The space is immaculate. Clean and each space well decorated according to the artists' tastes. I received a goodie bag/care package with snacks and a water and then a rose upon leaving. The tattoo artist on the other hand, is a narcissist, and a cant-make-no-mistake attitude. As you will see with the pictures below, he failed miserably. Stating that "if I waited for it to heal, the colors would subside and the picture he stenciled would come out truly looking like the picture I gave him. This is completely now true. Afterwards I asked for my money back,, and obviously the money back ($80) he held for the next session. Of which I think he. Would have easily given me back to help with my lasering. But he denied this, stating that what I signed was a legally binding contract. What that clearly means, is if he messed up, you still have to pay him. Rest assured, my lawyer will be on top of this. Even if it was for a measly $300. I think I deserved it all back. Here are my pictures, I'll let you decide... If I were you, I'd choose someone else like Amber Downing, Brock or Dustin in Decorah. He told me it was ugly and he wasn't going to do that, then proceeded to give me the worst tattoo i have ever seen in my life. I need to get it completely reworked because it looks so bad. Not only was my tattoo horrible, but so was my boyfriends. (my boyfriend asked for his grandpas birthday in a simple font) THIS GUY literally did his tattoo free handed. And it looks AWFUL. I arrived a couple of minutes early and Laura was finishing up a man's haircut. He and his buddy were finishing up (complimentary) beer. They appeared to really enjoy the place. Laura did a hot neck shave when she finished the gentleman's cut - apparently that is included with all men's cuts. The place is very cool. The decor is super retro, but not junky at all. The chairs are huge and comfortable. This is a barber shop, but she does offer other services, too. I went in for a color and cut. I showed Laura pictures of what I was hoping for, acknowledging that my hair wasn't quite the length or color of the girl in the photos I asked Laura her thoughts on doing something similar. She didn't even hesitate and was very confident. Laura is easy to chat with and super laid back. When Laura finished with my hair I was VERY pleased with the results. She clearly listened to what I wanted and was able to make it a reality. I was very pleased with the service and the price - I'll definitely return. **note that this is a tattoo and barber shop, but as of time of writing, there is not currently a tattoo artist there**

I wanted my tattoos custom because they are on my body forever and i was told they are "too hard" and had to settle for different things. I went in knowing he was a newer artist, but he charged me more a long the lines of a more advanced artist. Especially for the work done. Lines are not straight on all three and one he went way too deep into my skin. Artist claims its because i didn't care for it properly but i took care of all three that i got that day, the same way, at the same time everyday. I even wrapped them extra at home after taking the initial wrap off. I have got tattoos for the last 6 years and know how to treat them with a total of 9. He didn't own up to his mistake, won't compensate this issue. He is still choosing to ignore it. I dont recommend this place. The whole environment looked unclean and unprofessional.
